Abstract
Description
本願は、米国仮特許出願第61/304,537号(名称「SYRINGE PRODUCTS AND RELATED METHODS AND USES」、2010年2月15日出願)の優先権を主張する。
本発明は、概して、注射器の分野に関し、より具体的には、ポリマー組成物によって作製される注射器バレル壁を有する注射器の分野に関する。
種々のポリプロピレンポリマー生成物および清澄剤を使用して、注射器バレルとして試験するためのポリマー試験組成物を作製した。清澄剤は、ポリマー生成物のうちのいくつかに添加された。ポリマー生成物のうちのいくつかは、製造業者によって既に添加されたいくつかの清澄剤を含み得る、製造業者によって中に入れられた微量の添加剤を含有し得る。試験されたいくつかの代表的ポリプロピレン生成物は、表1に識別される。表2は、種々のポリプロピレン生成物の添加によって試験された代表的清澄剤を要約する。
Claims (19)
- 流体収容壁、および少なくとも部分的に該壁によって画定される内部体積を含む注射器バレルと、
該内部体積の中に移動可能に配置される注射器プランジャであって、該注射器プランジャは、該内部体積の少なくとも一部の中に流体吸引を生成すること、および該内部体積の少なくとも一部の中に流体圧力を生成することのうちの少なくとも1つを達成するように、該内部体積の中において移動可能である、注射器プランジャと
を含み、該注射器バレルの該壁は、メタロセンポリプロピレンポリマーおよび有機リン酸塩清澄剤を含むポリマー組成物から本質的に構成される、注射器製品。 - 前記ポリプロピレンポリマーは、ポリプロピレンホモポリマーである、請求項1に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記ポリプロピレンポリマーは、少なくとも97重量%のプロピレン反復単位、および最大3重量%のエチレン反復単位を含むコポリマーである、請求項1に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記ポリマー組成物は、少なくとも99重量%の前記メタロセンポリプロピレンポリマー、および0.1重量%から0.25重量%までの前記有機リン酸塩清澄剤を含む、請求項1−3のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記壁は、少なくとも48%の透明度を有する、請求項1−4のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記注射器バレルは、200psi(1.38MPa)を上回る内部圧力から生じる破裂による破損に対する耐性を有する、請求項1−5のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記壁は、少なくとも0.1フィート重量ポンド(0.0138重量キログラムメートル)の衝撃耐性を有する、請求項1−6のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記注射器バレルは、220〜240ナノメートルの紫外線波長スペクトルに対する抽出試験吸光度で0.08未満、および241〜350ナノメートルの紫外線波長スペクトルに対する吸光度で0.05未満によって示される低い抽出率を有する、請求項1−7のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記注射器バレルは、実質的に全体が前記ポリマー組成物から作製される、請求項1−8のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記壁は管状であり、前記内部体積は円筒形である、請求項1−9のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記注射器製品は、事前充填された注射器であり、該注射器は、前記内部体積の中に密封されたある体積の注入可能医療製剤を含む、請求項1−10のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記注射器バレルは、前記プランジャの反対側に流体出口ポートを含み、前記注入可能医療製剤が、該プランジャと該流体出口ポートとの間に配置されており、該流体出口ポートが密封されることにより、該注入可能医療製剤が該流体出口ポートを通って流出することを防止する、請求項11に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記流体出口ポートは、皮下注射針と流体的に連絡していない、請求項11に記載の注射器製品。
- 前記注入可能医療製剤は、X線造影剤、磁気共鳴造影剤、超音波造影剤、光造影剤、生理食塩水、ヘパリン、および鎮痛薬から成る群から選択される部分を含む、請求項11−14のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品。
- 充填された注射器を調製するための方法であって、請求項1−10のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品の前記内部体積の中に、ある体積の注入可能医療製剤を導入することを含む、方法。
- 前記導入することの後に、前記内部体積の中に前記体積の注入可能医療製剤を密封することを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 注入可能医療製剤を患者に投与するための方法であって、前記ある体積の注入可能医療製剤を請求項1−10のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品から前記患者に注入することを備える、方法。
- 注入可能医療製剤を患者に投与するための方法であって、
請求項11−14のいずれか一項に記載の注射器製品の前記内部体積の中において前記注入可能医療製剤の体積を開封することと、
該注入可能医療製剤の体積の少なくとも一部を前記患者の中に注入することと
を含む、方法。 - 注射器バレルの流体収容壁のための、メタロセンポリプロピレンポリマーおよび有機リン酸塩清澄剤を含むポリマー組成物の使用。
