Abstract
Description
試験1は、十分に広がった液体の炭化水素火災の際に発生する可能性のある、高速で温度上昇する加熱炉試験である。加熱炉の時間/温度は以下の通りとすることができる。
10分後:1033℃、
15分後:1098℃、
60分後:1100℃。
加熱炉の精度は以下の通り制御することができる。試験の最初の10分間は、平均加熱炉温度の曲線下の領域は、±15%より多く変化しない。試験の最初の30分間は、平均加熱炉温度の曲線下の領域は、標準曲線下の領域の±10%よりも多く変化しない。試験の最初の30分より後の期間は、平均加熱炉温度の曲線下の領域は、標準曲線下の領域の±5%よりも多く変化しない。試験の最初の10分より後のどの時点でも、平均加熱炉温度は、標準曲線と±100℃より大きく異なることはない。
試験2は、水の入った配管の耐火性についての試験方法である。高速で温度上昇するプロパンの複数バーナ試験を使用することができる。直径152mmまでの配管について、火源は5つのバーナ2列から構成することができる。平均して113.6kW/m2(±10%)の一定の熱流束を、バーナアレイの中心線から12.5±1cm上方で維持することができる。この流束は、65kWの総熱発生率で5kg/hの燃料流速を有する、プロパンの予混合炎に対応することができる。一定の熱流束を維持するために、ガス消費量を少なくとも±3%の精度で測定することができる。最低95%の純度のプロパンを使用することができる。
第3の試験は、CPVC配管104の火炎拡散の試験をするためにCPVC配管104に適用され得る。CPVC配管を、このような試験に通過するように構成することができる。
Claims (19)
- 船舶であって、
廃水システムを備え、前記廃水システムが、
前記船舶で下水または生活雑排水の一方を輸送する際に使用されるCPVC配管の一部を含む、船舶。 - 海上石油プラットフォームである、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 船である、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 軍用船である、請求項3に記載の船舶。
- クルーズ客船である、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記CPVC配管が下水を処理システムに輸送する、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記CPVC配管が生活雑排水を濾過システムに輸送する、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記CPVCパイプにインクまたは被覆で印を付けて、パイプ源、好ましい使用、または前記パイプが保持する証明書を明記する、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記インクまたは被覆が、前記印に紫外線ブラックライトを投影することにより見えるようになる蛍光増白剤色素を含む、請求項8に記載の船舶。
- 前記ブラックライトが約200〜約380ナノメートルの波長を発する、請求項9に記載の船舶。
- 前記CPVCパイプの呼び径が0.5インチ〜24.0インチである、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記CPVCパイプの呼び径が1.5インチ〜8.0インチである、請求項11に記載の船舶。
- 前記CPVCパイプおよび必要に応じて金具が、スケジュール40またはスケジュール80のパイプの要件を満たす、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記CPVCパイプが複合CPVCパイプである、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 船舶であって、
下水または生活雑排水の一方を輸送するドレン廃棄物およびベント、ならびに/または圧力金具を使用するCPVC配管を備え、前記CPVC配管がIMO A.653(16)の耐火性試験に適合する、船舶。 - 船舶に下水または生活雑排水ドレンシステムを形成する方法であって、
(a)複数の長さのCPVCパイプを設けるステップと、
(b)CPVCから形成された少なくとも1つのドレン廃棄物ベント金具を設けるステップと、
(c)前記CPVCパイプを前記金具に取り付けるステップとを含む方法。 - 前記金具の孔が、1フィートの長さにつき少なくとも0.25インチ変化するピッチを有する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記パイプおよび前記金具が、溶剤セメントを使用して取り付けられる、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記船舶が、船および海上石油プラットフォームからなる群から選択される、請求項16に記載の方法。
