Abstract
Description
本願は、米国仮出願第61/255,261号(2009年10月27日出願)を基礎とする優先権および利益を主張する。両出願において全ての主題が共通する。該仮出願の開示は、その全体が参照により本明細書に援用される。
本発明は、水中で風力タービンを輸送するために好適な船に関し、より具体的には、水から持ち上げた状態で風力タービンを輸送すること、および、所望の場所に設置するために垂直な浮いた位置に風力タービンを送達することが可能な部分的に浸水可能な船に関する。
Claims (12)
- 部分的に浸水可能な船であって、
左舷側と、右舷側と、船尾と、船首とを有する船体であって、該船首につながるテーパ形状を有する船体と、
該船体が水平位置にある場合に、該船体の左舷側において船体水線の上方に配置される左舷側翼内タンクと、該船体の右舷側において該船体水線の上方に配置される右舷側翼内タンクと、
風力タービンを支持するように構成された該船の甲板と
を備え、
該風力タービンは、該甲板の上に側臥位で位置付けられており、
該船は、浮きながら、該船体の横軸を中心として回転し、該船のピッチを変更することにより、該船尾を完全に浸水させ、実質的に垂直な船体位置まで該船首を持ち上げるように構成されており、該実質的に垂直な船体位置は、該船体の縦軸が、水の上面に実質的に垂直であることによって特徴付けられ、
該船体の水線は、該実質的に垂直な船体位置で浮いている場合に、該テーパ形状と該船首との間にある、船。 - 船は、約120メートル以下の喫水を有する、請求項1に記載の船。
- 前記船は、前記船体の横軸を中心として回転することにより、浸水し、前記船首を水平から約5度に維持するようにさらに構成されている、請求項1に記載の船。
- 前記船は、荷船を含む、請求項1に記載の船。
- 斜面甲板を有する開放船尾構成をさらに備えている、請求項1に記載の船。
- 浮くことのできる貨物を輸送および送達するための方法であって、
部分的に浸水可能な船上に、該浮くことのできる貨物を側臥位で積載することであって、該浮くことのできる貨物は、該船が浮いている水面の上方に持ち上げられている、ことと、
該船を所望の送達場所に位置付けることと、
バラストを複数の排水タンクに導入し、横軸を中心として該船を旋回させることにより、該船が、実質的水平位置から実質的垂直位置に回転するまで、該船の船尾部分を浸水させ、該船の船首部分を持ち上げることと、
位置付けて係留するために、該浮くことのできる貨物を該船から解放することと
を含む、方法。 - 2つ以上の翼内タンクをバラストで充填することをさらに含み、該翼内タンクは、前記船が前記水平位置にある場合に、該船の水線の上方にあり、該船が前記垂直位置にある場合に、該船の水線の下方にあるように、該船上に位置付けられている、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 船は、約120メートル以下の喫水を有する、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記船は、前記船体の横軸を中心として回転することにより、浸水し、前記船首を水平から約5度に維持するようにさらに構成されている、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記船は、荷船を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 斜面甲板を有する開放船尾構成をさらに備えている、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記浮くことのできる貨物は、浮くことのできる風力タービンを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
