Abstract
Description
(i)粒状活性炭および粒状ゼオライトを有する中間区域と、
(ii)スクリーニング材料を有する下部バリア区域と、
を有し、
約0.5Lsec−1m−2から約10Lsec−1m−2の流量の水を通過させることができるろ過システムが提供される。
ろ過システムは、
(i)粒状活性炭および粒状ゼオライトを有する中間区域と、
(ii)スクリーニング材料を有する下部バリア区域と、
を有し、
約0.5Lsec−1m−2から約10Lsec−1m−2の流量の水を通過させることができる、カートリッジが提供される。
このろ過システムは、
(i)粒状活性炭および粒状ゼオライトを有する中間区域と、
(ii)スクリーニング材料を含む下部バリア区域と、
を有し、
上記の水は、約0.5Lsec−1m−2から約10Lsec−1m−2の速度で上記のろ過材を通過して流れる、方法が提供される。
例1−ろ過材の分析
無煙炭、褐炭、粒状活性炭、清潔な川砂、バーミキュライト、パーライト、ゼオライト、および庭用堆肥の8つのろ過材を分析用に選んだ。
高流量ろ過システム:深さ50mmのスクリーニング材料(すなわち、砕石)、深さ380mmの50%(全て容量パーセントで示す)のGAC、50%のゼオライト、その後、深さ200mmの沈殿物トラップ(深さ20mmの50%のGACと50%のゼオライト、深さ45mmのゼオライト、深さ45mmの中程度のゼオライト、深さ45mmの粗いゼオライト、および深さ45mmの非常に粗いゼオライト)
人工的な暴風雨水に対して例2(ACGACではなくGACを使用)の高流量ろ過システムを使用して、以下の水分析結果を得た。暴風雨水池沈殿物と、塩素を除去した水道水とを混ぜることにより人工的な暴風雨水を作製し、これに、典型的な暴風雨水の質の濃度に合うように、実験室グレードの化学薬品および微生物を注ぎ足した。
Claims (26)
- アルミニウムで被覆された粒状活性炭および粒状ゼオライトを有する、水から汚染物質を除去するためのろ過材。
- アルミニウムで被覆された粒状活性炭の粒状ゼオライトに対する体積比が、約0.5:1と2:1の間である、請求項1に記載のろ過材。
- さらに砂を有する、請求項1または請求項2に記載のろ過材。
- 前記砂は、ろ過材の全体積の約30%と約60%の間を構成している、請求項3に記載のろ過材。
- 前記砂は、ろ過材の全体積の約37.5%を構成している、請求項3に記載のろ過材。
- アルミニウムで被覆された粒状活性炭を製造する方法であって、粒状活性炭を約5から約6.8の間のpHに酸性化された1つ以上のアルミニウム塩を有する水溶液に曝すことと、前記水溶液を取り除くことと、製造する前記アルミニウムで被覆された粒状活性炭を洗浄し乾燥させることと、を有する方法。
- 前記水溶液は、約6と約6.5の間のpHに酸性化される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記アルミニウム塩は、硫酸アルミニウムである、請求項6または請求項7に記載の方法。
- 水から汚染物質を除去するためのろ過システムであって、
(i)粒状活性炭および粒状ゼオライトを有する中間区域と、
(iii)スクリーニング材料を有する下部バリア区域と、
を有し、
約0.5Lsec−1m−2から約10Lsec−1m−2の流量の水を通過させることができるろ過システム。 - 前記中間区域における粒状活性炭の粒状ゼオライトに対する体積比が、約0.5:1と2:1の間である、請求項9に記載のろ過システム。
- 前記中間区域は、さらに砂を有する、請求項9または請求項10に記載のろ過システム。
- 前記砂は、前記中間区域の全体積の約30%と約60%の間を構成している、請求項11に記載のろ過システム。
- 前記粒状活性炭は、アルミニウムで被覆された粒状活性炭を有する、請求項9から12のいずれか1つに記載のろ過システム。
- 微粒子状の汚染物質を除去するための上部沈殿物トラップをさらに有する、請求項9〜13のいずれか1つに記載のろ過システム。
- 前記沈殿物トラップは、スコリア、粒状活性炭、粒状ゼオライト、および砂のうち1つ以上を有する、請求項14に記載のろ過システム。
- さらに水溶性塩素塩の細粒を有する、請求項9〜15のいずれか1つに記載のろ過システム。
- 前記水溶性塩素塩の細粒は、前記沈殿物トラップおよび/または前記中間区域内に設けられている、請求項16に記載のろ過システム。
- 水から汚染物質を除去するためのろ過システムを収容し、水が通過できる上面および底面を持つカートリッジであって、
前記ろ過システムは、
(i)粒状活性炭および粒状ゼオライトを有する中間区域と、
(iii)スクリーニング材料を有する下部バリア区域と、
を有し、
約0.5Lsec−1m−2から約10Lsec−1m−2の流量の水を通過させることができるカートリッジ。 - 前記カートリッジの上面は、固形物、スラッジ、および/または微粒子の粗いろ過器として働くメッシュを有する、請求項18に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記中間区域は、さらに砂を有する、請求項18または請求項19に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記粒状活性炭は、アルミニウムで被覆された粒状活性炭を有する、請求項18〜20のいずれか1つに記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記ろ過システムは、微粒子状の汚染物質を除去するための上部沈殿物トラップをさらに有する、請求項18から21のいずれか1つに記載のカートリッジ。
- 水から汚染物質を除去する方法であって、
(i)粒状活性炭および粒状ゼオライトを有する中間区域と、
(iii)スクリーニング材料を有する下部バリア区域と、
を有するろ過システムに前記水を通過させることを含み、
前記水は約0.5Lsec−1m−2から約10Lsec−1m−2の流量で前記ろ過材を通過する、方法。 - 前記中間区域は、さらに砂を有する、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記粒状活性炭は、アルミニウムで被覆された粒状活性炭を有する、請求項23または請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記ろ過システムは、微粒子状の汚染物質を除去するための上部沈殿物トラップをさらに有する、請求項23から25のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
