Abstract
Description
本出願は米国特許法第119条(e)に基づき、2009年7月24日に出願された、「Interference Detector for Patient Monitor(患者モニタ用の干渉検出器)」と題する、米国特許仮出願第61/228,495号の優先権を主張し、参照によりそれが本願に援用される。
本出願は、1998年1月12日に出願された「Method and Apparatus for Demodulating Signals in Pulse Oximetry Systems(パルス酸素濃度計システムの信号復調方法および装置)」と題する米国特許第5,919,134号、および200年6月16日に出願された「Pulse Oximeter Probe−Off Detection System(パルス酸素濃度計プローブ−オフ検出システム)」と題する米国特許第6,526,300号に関連し、参照によりこの両方が本願に援用される。
本発明は一般に、患者モニタと、1つまたは複数の光学センサと、モニタとセンサの間の信号のやり取りをする通信ケーブルまたは装置とを含む、患者モニタリングシステムに関する。

Claims (20)
- 測定装置中の干渉を検出するシステムであって、
測定装置中の環境からの干渉レベルを判定するように構成されたプロセスと、
前記環境からの干渉レベルを視覚的または聴覚的な表示のためのディスプレイと、
を備えるシステム。 - 前記聴覚的または視覚的な表示は、環境からの干渉の大きさが受容可能であることを示す、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記聴覚的または視覚的な表示は、環境からの干渉の大きさが受容不可であることを示す、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- モニタされている患者の組織によって減衰された光に対応する1つまたは複数のセンサ信号を受信し、前記センサ信号を処理して、前記モニタされている患者の1つまたは複数の生理的パラメータの測定値を決定する、非侵襲性のモニタであって、
前記センサは、光源と検出器を前記組織の近傍に配置するセンサ筐体中に収納された光源と1つまたは複数の検出器とを含み、
前記モニタは、前記センサの近傍における周辺からの電子的な干渉の大きさを判定する信号プロセッサと、前記干渉の大きさを介護人が感知しうる、少なくとも1つの聴覚的または視覚的な表示と、を含む非侵襲性のモニタ。 - 前記視覚的表示の聴覚はディスプレイを含み、
前記信号プロセッサは、前記周辺からの電子的な干渉の大きさに応じたディスプレイ信号を出力し、
前記ディスプレイは前記ディスプレイ信号に応じた視覚的キューを提供する、請求項4に記載の非侵襲性のモニタ。 - 前記視覚的キューはメータを含む、請求項5に記載の非侵襲性のモニタ。
- 前記モニタは干渉の閾値を記憶するメモリを含み、前記メータは前記干渉の閾値に対する前記干渉の大きさを示す、請求項6に記載の非侵襲性のモニタ。
- 前記メータは低干渉から高干渉までの連続体を含み、前記閾値は前記低干渉と前記高干渉との間にある、請求項7に記載の非侵襲性のモニタ。
- 前記メータは棒グラフを含む、請求項8に記載の非侵襲性のモニタ。
- 前記メータは移動式電子ダイアルを含む、請求項8に記載の非侵襲性のモニタ。

- 精密器具が患者の生理的パラメータの正確な測定を決定することに支障がないかどうかを判定する方法であって、
モニタされている患者の組織によって減衰された光に対応する1つまたは複数のセンサ信号を、光源と1つまたは複数の検出器とを含みかつ前記光源と前記検出器とが前記組織の近傍に配置されるセンサ筐体中に含まれるセンサから受信し、前記センサ信号を処理して前記モニタされている患者の1つまたは複数の生理的パラメータの測定値を決定するように構成された患者モニタにおいて干渉検出モードを選択し、
前記信号プロセッサにより前記センサ近傍における周辺からの電子的な干渉の大きさを電子的に判定し、
前記干渉の大きさを介護人が感知しうる、少なくとも1つの聴覚的または視覚的な表示を電子的に出力する、
ことを含む方法。 - 前記出力するステップは視覚的キューを表示することを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記視覚的キューを表示することが、メータ、移動式電子ダイアル、棒グラフ、一連のLED、英数字表示の内の少なくとも1つの表示された測定値を変更することを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記出力するステップは聴覚キューを生成することを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記聴覚キューを生成することは、聴覚連続体の少なくとも1つのピッチまたは音量を変化させることを含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
