Abstract
【解決手段】コントローラ40の制御下にある超音波変換器38が、湿し流体の微細液滴を射出して分散流体を形成する。送出流体(通常、空気)をさらに含んでいてもよい分散流体を、加圧手段42からの正の内圧を通じてノズル44へ搬送し、最終的にノズル44から搬送する。ノズル44の出力を画像部材12の画像再形成可能表面層の方へ導き、それにより、画像再形成可能表面層全体を覆って湿し流体の連続層46を形成するように薄く広がる液滴の層を堆積させる

Claims (4)
- 湿し流体を液相から蒸気相または分散流体相に変換するサブシステムと、
前記湿し流体を含む蒸気または分散流体の流れを、前記画像再形成可能表面に導くサブシステムと、を含み、
これにより前記湿し流体が前記画像再形成可能表面上で直接に前記液相に戻り、その結果、前記画像再形成可能表面上に堆積されて、前記画像再形成可能表面全体を覆って連続した湿し流体層を形成する、
可変データ・リソグラフィ・システム内の画像部材の画像再形成可能表面に湿し流体を塗布するシステム。 - 湿し流体を液相から分散流体相に変換する前記サブシステムが、超音波に基づくサブシステムと、ノズルに基づく噴霧装置サブシステムと、羽根車に基づくサブシステムと、蒸気チャンバサブシステムと、からなる群から選択されるサブシステムを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 分散流体相の前記湿し流体を前記画像再形成可能表面に送出する正圧サブシステムをさらに含む、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 湿し流体が分散流体相である間に前記湿し流体の液滴に電荷を印加して、それにより前記液滴が互いに反発して、前記画像再形成可能表面上に堆積する前に再結合することを回避できるようにするバイアスサブシステムと、
前記帯電した液滴の極性と反対の極性の均一な電荷を、前記分散流体堆積位置の直前の前記画像再形成可能表面に印加する充電サブシステムと、をさらに含む、請求項3に記載のシステム。
