Description

The present invention relates to an electric wire with a terminal and a method for manufacturing the same.

As an electric wire with a terminal comprising a core wire composed of a stranded wire obtained by twisting a plurality of metal strands with an insulating coating, an electric wire from which the core wire is exposed at the terminal, and a terminal connected to the terminal of the electric wire For example, the thing of patent document 1 etc. are known.

In the electric wire with a terminal described in Patent Document 1, a wire barrel of a terminal is crimped to and electrically connected to a core wire exposed at an end of the electric wire.

Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 5-72053

In the electric wire with a terminal of the type described in Patent Document 1, the terminal and the electric wire are electrically connected when the core wire and the inner surface of the wire barrel come into contact with each other.
Therefore, in this type of electric wire with terminal, when the wire constituting the core wire is thin and has a large number of twists, the wire breakage occurs when the wire barrel is crimped with high compression to reduce the connection resistance. Connection performance may be reduced.

This invention is completed based on the above situations, Comprising: It aims at providing the electric wire with a terminal which made connection resistance small, and its manufacturing method.

As a method for solving the above problem, it is conceivable to reduce the connection resistance by directly joining the core wire of the electric wire to the terminal. However, the strands constituting the core wire of the electric wire may vary, and it is difficult to join the core wire directly to the terminal.

As a result of further studies, the present invention has been achieved.
That is, the present invention relates to an electric wire in which a core wire formed by twisting a plurality of strands made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy is covered with an insulating coating, and an exposure exposed by peeling off the insulating coating at the end of the electric wire. An electric wire with a terminal provided with a wire connecting part to which a core wire is connected and a terminal having a terminal connecting part connected to a counterpart terminal, wherein the terminal connecting part is made of a conductive plate material, and the electric wire connection The portion is provided by inserting the exposed core wire into a cylindrical body made of a conductive material and molding it into a plate shape, and the end of the wire connecting portion where the tip of the exposed core wire is disposed is the terminal. It is characterized by being joined to the end face of the connecting portion.

Further, the present invention provides an electric wire in which a core wire formed by twisting a plurality of strands made of aluminum or aluminum alloy is covered with an insulating coating, and an exposure exposed by peeling off the insulating coating at the end of the electric wire. When the material of the wire constituting the cylindrical body and the core wire is a dissimilar metal, the dissimilar metal comes into contact with the inside of the cylindrical body, so if water containing an electrolyte such as salt enters here, the occurrence of electrolytic corrosion will occur. Concerned. Therefore, with the above configuration, since the cylindrical body and the core wire made of the aluminum or aluminum alloy wire are made of the same metal, corrosion that occurs between dissimilar metals at the contact portion between the cylindrical body and the core wire. Is less likely to occur.
