本開示は一般的に整形外科用器具、及びより具体的には患者の脛骨に使用される外科用器具に関連する。
(1) 整形外科用器具システムであって、
患者の脛骨の外科的に準備された近位端上に位置付けられるように適合され、長手方向軸を画定する中央ポストを含む、整形外科用器具と、
前記整形外科用器具に連結され、(i)それぞれが関節表面を有する複数の脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素の1つ、及び(ii)シムを含む、脛骨軸受トライアルアセンブリと、を含み、
(i)前記シムが、前記複数の脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素の第1脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素に第1の向きで連結されるように構成され、前記第1の向きでは、前記脛骨軸受トライアルアセンブリが、前記軸を中心に枢動可能であり、(ii)前記シムが、前記複数の脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素の第2脛骨軸受表面トライアルに第2の向きで連結されるように構成され、前記第2の向きでは、前記脛骨軸受トライアルアセンブリが、前記長手方向軸を中心に回転することを実質的に妨げられる、整形外科用器具システム。
(2) 前記シムが、内部に画定される開口部を有し、前記開口部が(i)前記中央ポストを受容するような寸法の中央経路と、(ii)前記中央経路から延びる第1スロットと、(iii)前記中央経路から延びる第2スロットとを含む、実施態様1に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(3) ラグが前記中央ポストから延び、前記ラグが(i)前記シムが前記中央ポスト上に前記第1の向きで位置付けられるときに、前記第1スロットに受容され、(ii)前記シムが前記中央ポスト上に前記第2の向きで位置付けられるときに、前記第2スロットに受容される、実施態様2に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(4) 前記整形外科用器具が、前記患者の脛骨の前記外科的に準備された近位端上に位置付けられるように適合された脛骨基部トライアル構成要素を含み、前記脛骨基部トライアル構成要素が、前記脛骨軸受トライアルアセンブリが前記整形外科用器具に連結されるときに、前記シムと接触するように構成される上方表面を有する、実施態様1に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(5) 前記整形外科用器具が、前記脛骨基部トライアル構成要素内に画定される開口部内に位置付けられるように適合された基部挿入部を含み、前記基部挿入部がそこから延びる前記中央ポストを有する、実施態様4に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(6) 前記整形外科用器具が、前記脛骨基部トライアル構成要素内に画定される開口部内に位置付けられるように適合されたキールパンチを含み、前記キールパンチが(i)主要プラットフォームから上方に延びる前記中央ポストを有する前記主要プラットフォーム、及び(ii)前記主要プラットフォームから外側に延び、前記患者の脛骨の前記外科的に準備された近位端内に位置付けられるように構成された、一対のアームを含む、実施態様4に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(7) 各脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素がそこから下方に延びる一対のペグを含み、
前記シムが一対の取り付け開口部を含み、各取り付け開口部が、各脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素を前記シムに取り外し可能に連結するために、前記一対のペグの1つを受容する寸法である、実施態様1に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(8) 整形外科用器具システムであって、
長手方向軸を画定する中央ポストを有する整形外科用器具と、
前記中央ポストを受容するように構成された開口部を含むシムであって、(i)前記シムが前記軸を中心として枢動可能な第1の向きで、及び(ii)前記シムが前記長手方向軸を中心に回転することを妨げられる第2の向きで、前記整形外科用器具上に位置付けられるように構成されるシムとを含む、整形外科用器具システム。
(9) 前記開口部が、(i)前記整形外科用器具の前記中央ポストを受容するような寸法の中央経路、及び(ii)前記中央経路から延び、一対の平坦な内壁の間で延びる弓状内壁によって画定される、スロットを含む、実施態様8に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(10) 前記弓状内壁がおよそ50°にわたって延びる弧を画定する、実施態様9に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
前記ラグが、前記シムが前記整形外科用器具上に前記第1の向きで位置付けられるときに、前記スロット内に受容されるように構成され、これにより、(i)前記シムが前記軸を中心に第1方向に枢動するとき、前記一対の平坦な内壁の第1の平坦な内壁が前進して前記ラグと接触し、(ii)前記シムが前記軸を中心に第2方向に枢動するとき、前記一対の平坦な内壁の第2の平坦な内壁が前進して前記ラグと接触する、実施態様9に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(12) 前記シムの前記開口部が、前記中央経路から延びる第2スロットを含み、前記ラグが、前記シムが前記整形外科用器具上に前記第2の向きで位置付けられるときに、前記第2スロットに受容される、実施態様11に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(13) 前記第2スロットが、前記シムが前記軸を中心に回転することを実質的に妨げられるように前記ラグが前記第2スロットに受容されるときに、前記ラグに係合するように構成された一対の内壁によって画定される、実施態様12に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(14) 一対の大腿骨顆と接触するように構成された関節表面、及び下面から下方に延びる一対のペグを有する前記下面を含む、脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素を更に含み、
前記シムが、一対の取り付け開口部を含み、各取り付け開口部が、前記脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素を前記シムに取り外し可能に連結するために、前記一対のペグの1つを受容するような寸法である、実施態様8に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(15) 前記脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素が、前記シムが前記第1の向きに位置付けられるときに前記シムに固定可能になり、前記シムが前記第2の向きで位置付けられるときに前記シムに固定されるのを妨げられる、実施態様14に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(16) 前記一対のペグが、第1ペグ及び前記第1ペグとは異なるペグの寸法を有する第2ペグを含み、
前記一対の取り付け開口部が、前記第1ペグを受容するような寸法の第1取り付け開口部、及び前記第2ペグを受容するような寸法の第2取り付け開口部を含み、前記第2取り付け開口部が、前記第1取り付け開口部とは異なる開口部の寸法を有し、前記第2ペグのペグ寸法と適合するように構成される、実施態様15に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
(17) 整形外科用器具であって、
所定の厚さを有するプレートを含む脛骨トライアルシムであって、前記プレートが内部に画定される開口部を有し、前記開口部が(i)中央経路、(ii)前記中央経路の第1側部から延びる矩形スロット、及び(iii)前記中央経路の第2側部から延びる弓状スロットを含む、脛骨トライアルシムを含む、整形外科用器具。
(18) 前記プレートが内部に画定される一対の取り付け開口部を有し、各取り付け開口部が前記脛骨トライアルシムを脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素に固定するように構成される、実施態様17に記載の整形外科用器具。
(19) 前記一対の取り付け開口部の第1取り付け開口部が、前記中央経路の前記第1側部で前記プレートを通じて画定され、
前記一対の取り付け開口部の第2取り付け開口部が、前記中央経路の前記第2側部で前記プレートを通じて画定され、
前記第1取り付け開口部が前記第2取り付け開口部とは異なる寸法を有する、実施態様18に記載の整形外科用器具。
(20) 前記第1取り付け開口部及び前記第2取り付け開口部が円形であり、前記第1取り付け開口部の直径が、前記第2取り付け開口部の直径よりも大きい、実施態様19に記載の整形外科用器具。
前記脛骨トライアルシムの前記第1取り付け開口部が、前記一対のペグの第1ペグを受容するような寸法であり、前記脛骨トライアルシムの前記第2取り付け開口部が、前記一対のペグの第2ペグを受容するような寸法である、実施態様20に記載の整形外科用器具。
(22) 前記プレートが、
第1の平坦な表面と、第2の平坦な表面と、前記第1の平坦な表面と前記第2の平坦な表面との間に延びる側壁と、
前記第1の平坦な表面内に画定され、前記側壁から前記開口部に向かって内側に延びる第1チャネルと、
前記第2の平坦な表面内に画定され、前記側壁から前記開口部に向かって内側に延びる、第2チャネルとを含む、実施態様17に記載の整形外科用器具。
(23) 前記開口部が前記第1チャネルと前記第2チャネルとの間に位置付けられる、実施態様22に記載の整形外科用器具。
(24) 前記開口部が、前記中央経路から、前記側壁の後方区分を通じて延びるスロットを含む、実施態様22に記載の整形外科用器具。
(25) 前記中央経路が前記プレートを通じた軸を画定し、前記弓状スロットが、前記軸を中心におよそ50°にわたって延びる縁部を有する、弓状内壁によって画定される、実施態様17に記載の整形外科用器具。
(26) 前記弓状スロットが、一対の平坦な内壁、及び前記一対の平坦な内壁の間に延びる前記弓状内壁によって更に画定される、実施態様25に記載の整形外科用器具。
Claims (7)
- 整形外科用器具システムであって、
患者の脛骨の外科的に準備された近位端上に位置付けられるように適合され、長手方向軸を画定する中央ポストを含む、整形外科用器具と、
前記整形外科用器具に連結され、(i)それぞれが関節表面を有する複数の脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素の1つ、及び(ii)シムを含む、脛骨軸受トライアルアセンブリと、を含み、
(i)前記シムが、前記複数の脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素の第1脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素に第1の向きで連結されるように構成され、前記第1の向きでは、前記脛骨軸受トライアルアセンブリが、前記軸を中心に枢動可能であり、(ii)前記シムが、前記複数の脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素の第2脛骨軸受表面トライアルに第2の向きで連結されるように構成され、前記第2の向きでは、前記脛骨軸受トライアルアセンブリが、前記長手方向軸を中心に回転することを実質的に妨げられる、整形外科用器具システム。 - 前記シムが、内部に画定される開口部を有し、前記開口部が(i)前記中央ポストを受容するような寸法の中央経路と、(ii)前記中央経路から延びる第1スロットと、(iii)前記中央経路から延びる第2スロットとを含む、請求項1に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
- ラグが前記中央ポストから延び、前記ラグが(i)前記シムが前記中央ポスト上に前記第1の向きで位置付けられるときに、前記第1スロットに受容され、(ii)前記シムが前記中央ポスト上に前記第2の向きで位置付けられるときに、前記第2スロットに受容される、請求項2に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
- 前記整形外科用器具が、前記患者の脛骨の前記外科的に準備された近位端上に位置付けられるように適合された脛骨基部トライアル構成要素を含み、前記脛骨基部トライアル構成要素が、前記脛骨軸受トライアルアセンブリが前記整形外科用器具に連結されるときに、前記シムと接触するように構成される上方表面を有する、請求項1に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
- 前記整形外科用器具が、前記脛骨基部トライアル構成要素内に画定される開口部内に位置付けられるように適合された基部挿入部を含み、前記基部挿入部がそこから延びる前記中央ポストを有する、請求項4に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
- 前記整形外科用器具が、前記脛骨基部トライアル構成要素内に画定される開口部内に位置付けられるように適合されたキールパンチを含み、前記キールパンチが(i)主要プラットフォームから上方に延びる前記中央ポストを有する前記主要プラットフォーム、及び(ii)前記主要プラットフォームから外側に延び、前記患者の脛骨の前記外科的に準備された近位端内に位置付けられるように構成された、一対のアームを含む、請求項4に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
- 各脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素がそこから下方に延びる一対のペグを含み、
前記シムが一対の取り付け開口部を含み、各取り付け開口部が、各脛骨軸受表面トライアル構成要素を前記シムに取り外し可能に連結するために、前記一対のペグの1つを受容する寸法である、請求項1に記載の整形外科用器具システム。
