Claims (15)
- UVレーザを使用してコヒーレント光を発生させることと、
コヒーレント光を下方変換して、周波数量子もつれ光子の対を生成することと、
量子もつれ光子の各対に関して、第1光子を第1光路に沿って、第2光子を第2光路に沿って、それぞれ伝送することと、
シングルフォトン領域内において、第1検出器を使用して、第1光路に沿って伝送されるこれらの光子を検出し、第2検出器を使用して、第2光路に沿って伝送されるこれらの光子を検出することと、
検出器の出力に対して同時計数を行なうことであって、第1及び第2検出器の出力の立ち上がりエッジを時間窓内で比較することを含むことと
を含む方法。 - レーザを連続波モードで動作させる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1及び第2検出器がシングルフォトン領域で動作する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1及び第2光路に同じ実効長を与える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 各検出器がパルスを出力して光子の検出を通知し、各時間窓の始点が第2検出器によって供給されるパルスの立ち上がりエッジに対応する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 時間窓の両側を個別に調整することができる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- N番目のN00N状態(N≧2)において光子を生成する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1及び第2検出器によって検出される光子の複素電場の2次相関をとり、第2検出器のx−y座標の関数として同時計数値を変換することにより、画像を相関平面に形成する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 物体を追跡する方法であって、請求項8に記載の方法を使用して物体を含む画像を撮影することと、撮影画像に基づいて物体の位置を推定することとを含む方法。
- 第1光路に沿って伝送されるこれらの光子が、浮遊遮蔽物を通過する波長を有する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 監視を行なう方法であって、請求項8に記載の方法を使用して物体の画像を形成することを含み、第1光路に沿って伝送されるこれらの光子が遮蔽物に向かって誘導され、かつ遮蔽物を通過する波長を有し、遮蔽物を通過する光子が遮蔽物に隠れた全ての物体によって散乱される方法。
- 物体の非破壊検査を行なう方法であって、物体の画像を、請求項8に記載の方法を使用して形成することと、画像を分析して全ての構造変化を特定することとを含む、方法。
- 周波数量子もつれ光子の対を生成し、光子の各対に関して、第1光子を第1光路に沿って、第2光子を第2光路に沿って伝送するレーザ利用システムと、
第1光路に沿って伝送される個々の光子を検出する第1光子検出器と、
第2光路に沿って伝送される個々の光子を検出する第2光子検出器と、
検出器の出力に応答して、光子対の同時計数を行なう回路であって、同時計数に、第1及び第2検出器の出力の立ち上がりエッジを時間窓内で比較することにより同時性を判断することを含む回路と
を備えるシステム。 - レーザ利用システムが、紫外線レーザと、レーザの出力を下方変換する非線形結晶とを含んでおり、第1及び第2光子検出器が、アバランシェダイオードを含むことにより、上方変換が下方変換の前には行なわれない、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- レーザ利用システムが、連続波モードで動作して1度に1組の光子対を生成するレーザを含んでいる、請求項13に記載のシステム。
