Abstract
Description

(a)前記NSモダリティを、所定時間Tij作動させることと、
(b)前記CTモダリティを、前記NSモダリティの作動に応じた所定時間作動させて、第2脳領域にCTを与えることと
を行うこと

を含むシステム。

(b)認知訓練(CT)モダリティを、前記NSモダリティの作動に応じた所定時間作動させて、第2脳領域にCTを与えること

Claims (26)
- 神経治療のためのシステムであって、
(a)脳領域に神経刺激を与えるように構成された神経刺激(NS)モダリティと、
(b)脳領域にCTを与えるように構成された認知訓練(CT)モダリティと、
(c)神経治療セッションを実施するように構成されたプロセッサと
を備え、
前記治療セッションが、
(i)i回(i=1〜M(ここで、Mは脳領域の数である))、
j回(j=1〜N(i)(ここで、N(i)は、第1脳領域iを刺激する回数であり、N(i)は少なくとも2である))、
(a)前記NSモダリティを、所定時間作動させることと、
(b)前記CTモダリティを、前記NSモダリティの作動時間に応じた所定時間作動させて、第2脳領域にCTを与えることと
を行うこと
を行うこと
を含むシステム。 - 脳領域iに対するj回目の前記NSモダリティの作動の発生は、量Pijの神経刺激を前記脳領域iに与えることを含み、前記神経刺激Pijが、所定の生理的作用を起こす請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記生理的作用が、前記NS作動の終了後経時的に低下する初期レベルを有し、j=2,...N(i)回目において、j−1回目の前記NSモダリティの作動の発生によって起こされた前記所定の生理的作用のレベルが上記初期レベルの所定の割合よりも高い場合に、j回目の前記NSモダリティの作動を発生させる請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 任意の形態の認知症、又は他の加齢性の病気の治療に使用される請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 任意の形態の神経性の病気の治療に使用される請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 任意の形態の精神性の病気の治療に使用される請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記生理的作用は、fMRI、EEG、PET、SPECT、ERP、認知測定法、EMG、及びMEPのうちいずれか1つ以上によって定量化可能な作用である請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- Pijは、前記所定の生理的作用を起こすNSの最少量である請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。

が、所定の定数未満である請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。 -
が前記所定の定数未満の場合、所定の副作用が起こらない請求項9に記載のシステム。 - 前記NSは、DC電流、AC電流、DC電圧、AC電圧、tDCS、EST、磁場、電場、RF放射、マイクロ波放射、赤外線放射、光放射、紫外線放射、X線放射、超音波、及び機械的波動のうちいずれか1つ以上を含む請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記NSを、非侵襲的に施行する請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記NSを、侵襲的に施行する請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記NSモダリティは、2つ以上のNS源からNSを与えるように構成されている請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記NSモダリティは、2種類以上のNS刺激を与えるように構成されている請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記CTは、日常的な物の名前の記憶、顔‐名前の連想、物‐位置の連想、展望的記憶課題の成績、現実見当識、時事についての質問/記憶、並びにコンピュータを使用する単純なクロスワードパズル及び迷路を改善するように設計された課題を含む請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記CTは、視覚刺激、聴覚刺激、嗅覚刺激、触覚刺激、及び空間刺激から選択される請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記NSは、TMSである請求項1〜10及び12〜17のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記TMSは、rTMSである請求項18に記載のシステム。
- rTMSは、0.5Hz〜30Hzの周波数を有する請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記rTMSは、0.5〜5秒のパルス時間を有する請求項19又は20に記載のシステム。
- rTMS強度が、運動閾値の40%〜110%の範囲内である請求項19〜21のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記CTモダリティを、前記NSモダリティの作動の終了後15秒以内に作動させる請求項1〜22のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記NSモダリティの連続する2回の作動が、5秒〜120秒間隔で行われる請求項1〜23のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1脳領域は、前記第2脳領域と同一である請求項1〜24のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 神経治療のための方法であって、
(i)i回(i=1〜M(ここで、Mは脳領域の数)、
j回(j=1〜N(i)(ここで、N(i)は、第1脳領域iを刺激する回数であり、N(i)は少なくとも2である)、
(a)神経刺激(NS)モダリティを所定時間Tij作動させ、
(b)認知訓練(CT)モダリティを、前記NSモダリティの作動に応じた所定時間作動させて、第2脳領域iにCTを与えること
を行うこと
を行うこと
を含む方法。
