Abstract
Description
R1、R2、R3、R4、およびR5の少なくとも1つは水素ではなく;
Xはハロゲンであり;
Mはアルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属であり;かつ
nは本スルホンアミド化合物1分子あたりの水分子の数である]。
木材フラッフを使って臭気抑制体排出液吸収部材を製造した。木材フラッフを、スルホンアミド化合物の3つの異なる組合せの1つで処理した。組合せAは、約70%のN−クロロ−p−カルボキシスルホンアミド(式(VIII)として以下に示す)および30%のクロラミンT(式(VII)として以下に示す)を含有した。組合せBはN−クロロ−p−カルボキシスルホンアミドのみであり、組合せCはクロラミンTのみだった。これらの組合せを、0.5wt%、1.0wt%、または1.5wt%のスルホンアミド化合物を含有する水溶液として、噴霧した。
ここでは、直径が約2〜3インチの木材フラッフボールに、アカギツネ尿(悪臭の強い物質)を噴霧した後、異なる臭気抑制製剤を噴霧して、その製剤がどのくらい効率よく臭気を除去するかを見た。対照木材フラッフボールにはどの臭気抑制製剤も噴霧しなかった。
18インチ×2インチの大きさを持つ圧搾繊維木材シートに溶液A、B、またはCを噴霧した。噴霧前の木材シートの重量を測定しておき、噴霧の24時間後に木材シートの重量を再び測定して、木材シート上に存在するスルホンアミド化合物の量を決定した。
4.5wt%のN−クロロ−p−カルボキシスルホンアミド、1.5wt%の炭酸水素ナトリウム、および94wt%の水を含有する水溶液を作製した。次に、10インチ×20インチの寸法を持つ木部繊維シートを調製した。その木部繊維シートは92〜95%乾燥しており、99〜100グラムの重量を持っていた。次に78グラムの水溶液を木部繊維シートの上面だけに加えた。水溶液を乾燥させた後、木部繊維シートを試験し、次に粉砕器でフラッフ化した。
Claims (27)
- 吸収材料と、そこに分散された以下の式(I)のハロ活性芳香族スルホンアミド化合物とを含む、臭気抑制体排出液吸収部材:
Xはハロゲンであり;
Mはアルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属であり;かつ
nは本スルホンアミド化合物1分子あたりの水分子の数である]。 - 吸収材料がポリマー、セルロース系繊維、または木材フラッフである、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- R1、R2、R3、R4、およびR5の少なくとも2つが水素ではない、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- R3がメチル、COOH、COOM1、塩素、フッ素、NO2、またはメトキシである、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- R3が、COOH、COOM1、COOR’、CON(R”)2、CN、NO2、ハロゲン、および置換または無置換C2−C12アルキルから選択される、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- R2とR4が互いに同一であり、かつ、R1、R3、およびR5が水素である、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- R2およびR4が水素であり、かつ、R1、R3、およびR5が互いに同一である、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- R3が、COOH、COOM1、COOR’、およびCON(R”)2から選択される、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- R1、R2、R3、R4、およびR5が、水素、COOH、COOM1、COOR’、CON(R”)2、NO2、ハロゲン、および置換または無置換C1−C12アルキルから独立して選択される、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- R3がCOOHまたはCOOM1であり、かつ、R1、R2、R4、およびR5が、水素、NO2、ハロゲン、および置換または無置換C1−C12アルキルから独立して選択される、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- 吸収部材が第2の異なるスルホンアミド化合物をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- 2つのスルホンアミド化合物の重量比が約90:10〜約10:90である、請求項11に記載の吸収部材。
- 2つの化合物がN−クロロ−p−トルエンスルホンアミドとN−クロロ−p−カルボキシスルホンアミドである、請求項11に記載の吸収部材。
- 2つのスルホンアミド化合物が吸収部材の重量に基づいて約0.1〜約50重量パーセントの範囲で存在する、請求項11に記載の吸収部材。
- スルホンアミド化合物が吸収部材の重量に基づいて約4〜約7.5重量パーセントの範囲で存在する、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- さらに緩衝剤を含む、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- さらにアルコールを含む、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- 吸収部材が平らなシートの形態である、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- 吸収部材がおむつ、衛生ナプキン、タンポン、創傷被覆材、または包帯に使用される、請求項1に記載の吸収部材。
- 吸収材料を用意すること;
吸収材料を混合物で処理すること;および
吸収材料を造形して吸収部材を形成させること
を含む、臭気抑制体排出液吸収部材を製造するためのプロセスであって、該混合物が以下の式(I)のハロ活性芳香族スルホンアミド化合物を含むプロセス:
R3はCOOH、COOM1、COOR’、およびCON(R”)2であり;
M1はアルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属であり;R’は置換または無置換C1−C12アルキルであり;R”は水素または置換もしくは無置換C1−C12アルキルであって、CON(R”)2中の2つのR”基は独立して選択することができ;
Xはハロゲンであり;
Mはアルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属であり;かつ
nは本スルホンアミド化合物1分子あたりの水分子の数である]。 - 混合物が固形物または水溶液である、請求項21に記載のプロセス。
- 吸収材料がポリマー、セルロース系繊維、または木材フラッフである、請求項21に記載のプロセス。
- 吸収材料を用意し、木質繊維のシートに混合物を適用することによって処理し、次にそのシートを粉砕して処理済み吸収材料を得る、請求項21に記載のプロセス。
- 請求項21に記載のプロセスによって形成される臭気抑制体排出液吸収部材。
- 体排出液の臭気を抑制するための方法であって、
吸収材料と、そこに分散された以下の式(I)のハロ活性芳香族スルホンアミド化合物とを含む臭気抑制体排出液吸収部材を用意すること:
R1、R2、R3、R4、およびR5の少なくとも1つは水素ではなく;
Xはハロゲンであり;
Mはアルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属であり;かつ
nは本スルホンアミド化合物1分子あたりの水分子の数である]
および
吸収部材を、臭気を放つ体排出液と接触させて、スルホンアミド化合物に、体排出液中に存在する臭気原因分子を中和させること
を含む方法。 - 吸収部材がおむつ、衛生ナプキン、タンポン、創傷被覆材、または包帯に配置される、請求項26に記載の方法。
