Abstract
複数の順次積み重ねたプレート形状バッテリーセル及び2個以上の放熱部材を包含するバッテリーモジュールであって、該第一放熱部材が、該第一放熱部材の片側が、該バッテリーモジュールの最も外側にある1個のバッテリーセル(a)を少なくとも部分的に覆い、該第一放熱部材の反対側が、内側バッテリーセル同士の間に配置されるように伸び、該第二放熱部材が、該第二放熱部材の片側が、該第二放熱部材が該第一放熱部材と重ならない状態で、該最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(a)を少なくとも部分的に覆うように伸び、該第二放熱部材の反対側が、該内側バッテリーセル同士の間に配置される構造に形成された、バッテリーモジュールを開示する。
Description
Claims (17)
- バッテリーモジュールであって、
複数の順次積み重ねたプレート形状バッテリーセル及び2個以上の放熱部材を備えてなり、
第一放熱部材が伸びて、第一放熱部材の片側が、前記バッテリーモジュールの最も外側にある1個のバッテリーセル(a)を少なくとも部分的に覆ってなり、かつ、第一放熱部材の反対側が、内側バッテリーセル同士の間に配置されてなり、
第二放熱部材が伸びて、第二放熱部材の片側が、前記バッテリーモジュールの最も外側にある1個のバッテリーセル(a)を少なくとも部分的に覆ってなり、他方、第二放熱部材が第一放熱部材と重ならないものであり、かつ、第二放熱部材の反対側が、前記内側バッテリーセル同士の間に配置される構造に形成された、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記放熱部材が、高い熱伝導率及び屈曲性を示すシート材料から形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記放熱部材が金属シートから形成されてなる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 第一放熱部材の前記片側が、前記最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(a)の外側表面の約1/3〜約1/2を覆ってなり、
第二放熱部材の前記片側が、前記最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(a)の前記外側表面の約1/3〜約1/2を覆ってなり、他方、第二放熱部材の前記片側が第一放熱部材の片側と対向してなるものである、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記バッテリーセル間に配置されてなる、第一放熱部材及び第二放熱部材の各反対側が、対応する前記バッテリーセル間の界面全体に伸びてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記放熱部材が前記バッテリーモジュールに取り付けられ、各放熱部材の前記反対側が、対応する前記プレート形状バッテリーセルの一表面にのみ配置されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(a)から出発して積み重ねられた前記バッテリーセルが、第一バッテリーセル、第二バッテリーセル、第三バッテリーセル...第p番目のバッテリーセルとして規定した場合に、
第一放熱部材の前記反対側が、前記第一バッテリーセルと前記第二バッテリーセルとの間に位置し、かつ、
第二放熱部材の前記反対側が、前記第三バッテリーセルと前記第四バッテリーセルとの間に位置する、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 他方の最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(b)に取り付けられた第三放熱部材及び第四放熱部材をさらに備えてなり、
第三放熱部材が伸びて、第三放熱部材の片側が、前記バッテリーモジュールの前記最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(b)を少なくとも部分的に覆ってなり、かつ、第三放熱部材の反対側が、内側バッテリーセル間に配置されてなり、
第四放熱部材が伸びて、第四放熱部材の片側が、前記最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(b)を少なくとも部分的に覆ってなり、他方、第四放熱部材が第三放熱部材と重ならないものであり、第四放熱部材の前記反対側が、内側バッテリーセル間に配置されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記第三放熱部材及び前記第四放熱部材が、前記第一放熱部材及び前記第二放熱部材とそれぞれ重なり合わないように、前記第三放熱部材及び前記第四放熱部材が、前記バッテリーモジュールに取り付けられてなる、請求項8に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(b)から出発して積み重ねられた前記バッテリーセルが、第n番目のバッテリーセル、第n-1番目のバッテリーセル、第n-2番目のバッテリーセル...第p番目のバッテリーセルとした場合、
前記第三放熱部材の前記反対側が、前記第n番目のバッテリーセルと前記第n-1番目のバッテリーセルとの間に位置し、前記第四放熱部材の前記反対側が、前記第n-2番目のバッテリーセルと前記第n-3番目のバッテリーセルとの間に位置する、請求項8に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記放熱部材が、前記バッテリーモジュールに取り付けられ、前記放熱部材が屈曲して前記バッテリーセルの側部を覆うものである、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(a)の外側表面と前記放熱部材との間に取り付けられ、前記最も外側にあるバッテリーセル(a)が過冷却されるのを防止する、絶縁性部材をさらに備えてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーモジュールが、6〜12個のバッテリーセルを備えてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 2個以上の、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを備えてなる、中型または大型バッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーモジュールが、冷却剤を流すための冷却剤通路として作用する予め決められた隙間により、互いに間隔を置いて配置されてなる、請求項14に記載の中型または大型バッテリーパック。
- 前記冷却剤が空気を含んでなる、請求項15に記載の中型または大型バッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーパックが、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、またはプラグ−インハイブリッド電気自動車用の電力供給源として使用される、請求項14に記載の中型または大型バッテリーパック。
