Abstract
Description
無線インタフェースアクティビティを低減させた低負荷動作モードとを有し、前記フェムトセル基地局が、前記通常動作モードと前記低負荷動作モードとの間で遷移し、前記フェムトセル基地局に接続されているすべての移動局がアイドルまたはスリープモードにある場合に、前記フェムトセル基地局が前記低負荷動作モードに入る。
無線インタフェースアクティビティを低減させた低負荷動作モードとを有し、前記フェムトセル基地局が、前記通常動作モードと前記低負荷動作モードとの間で遷移し、前記フェムトセル基地局に接続されているすべての前記移動局がアイドルまたはスリープモードにある場合に、前記フェムトセル基地局が前記低負荷動作モードに入る。
Claims (11)
- WiMAXフェムトセル基地局の動作方法において、前記フェムトセル基地局はアクティブ動作モードを有し、該アクティブ動作モードにおいて、前記フェムトセル基地局の無線インタフェースサブシステムは完全に電源供給され、
無線インタフェースアクティビティを低減させた省電力モードが設けられ、前記フェムトセル基地局が、前記アクティブ動作モードと前記省電力モードとの間で遷移可能であることを特徴とする、WiMAXフェムトセル基地局の動作方法。 - 移動局が前記フェムトセル基地局に接続されていない場合、または、前記フェムトセル基地局に接続されているすべての移動局がアイドルモードまたはスリープモードにある場合に、前記フェムトセル基地局が前記省電力モードに入ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 省電力モードにおいて、前記フェムトセル基地局が、ある数の省電力ウィンドウを反復することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記省電力ウィンドウがそれぞれ、省電力フレームおよびアクティブフレームを含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記アクティブフレームが、接続移動局の同期、制御シグナリング、および/または、アップリンク送信機会の割当を含む通常動作を実行するために使用されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記フェムトセル基地局の無線インタフェースサブシステムが、前記省電力フレームの期間中にオフに切り替えられることを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載の方法。
- 省電力モードにある前記フェムトセル基地局が、設定可能な数のフレームの送信を省略することを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載の方法。
- 前記フェムトセル基地局は、前記フェムトセル基地局に接続されているスリープモードにある移動局から、または、アイドルモードにある移動局から、シグナリングメッセージを受信した場合、省電力モードからアクティブ動作モードに切り替わることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記フェムトセル基地局は、前記フェムトセル基地局に接続されていないアクティブモードにある移動局が前記フェムトセル基地局のカバレジエリアに入りつつある場合、前記移動局のアップリンク受信信号電力または派生されるメトリックを使用して、アクティブモードに入るかどうかを決定することを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記フェムトセル基地局は、前記フェムトセル基地局に接続されていないアクティブモードにある移動局が前記フェムトセル基地局のカバレジエリアに入りつつある場合、前記移動局と接続マクロ基地局との間のメッセージ交換があるまで省電力モードにとどまることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- WiMAXネットワークに配備するためのフェムトセル基地局において、該フェムトセル基地局はアクティブ動作モードを有し、該アクティブ動作モードにおいて、該フェムトセル基地局の無線インタフェースサブシステムは完全に電源供給され、
無線インタフェースアクティビティを低減させた省電力モードが設けられ、該フェムトセル基地局が、前記アクティブ動作モードと前記省電力モードとの間で遷移可能であることを特徴とするフェムトセル基地局。
