Abstract
【解決手段】装置は組織に経皮的に介入するよう構成される開近位端12および閉遠位端を含むカテーテル6を含む。マイクロ波エネルギー源8への接続に適用される指向性マイクロ波アンテナプローブ4は、選択的にカテーテルに接合する。指向性マイクロ波アンテナは、指向性マイクロ波アンテナから組織へマイクロ波エネルギーの放射を方向付けるためにその中で回転可能である。

Claims (14)
- マイクロ波焼灼術を行うためのシステムであって、
マイクロ波エネルギー源と、
組織に経皮的に介入するよう構成される開近位端および閉遠位端を含むカテーテルと、
前記マイクロ波エネルギー源への接続に適用する指向性マイクロ波アンテナプローブとを備え、
前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナが前記カテーテルと選択的に接合し、前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナから組織へマイクロ波エネルギーの放射を方向付けるためにその中で回転可能であるシステム。 - 前記カテーテルが透明な高周波材料から作製される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記透明な高周波材料が、ガラス繊維および高温複合プラスチックからなる群より選択される請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記カテーテルの遠位端が、金属、セラミックおよびプラスチックからなる群より選択される材料から作製される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 実質的可撓性軸が、前記カテーテルの近位端と遠位端との間に配置され、且つその長さに沿って実質的に延在する空隙を含む請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記空隙が、前記カテーテルの近位端に隣接して動作可能に配置される流入/流出口と流体連通する請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 隔壁が前記カテーテルの近位端に動作可能に配置され、前記カテーテルおよび前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナプローブが互いに動作可能に接合される際、前記カテーテルと前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナプローブ間に実質的流体密封を提供するよう構成される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- さらにイメージガイド装置を含む請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記イメージガイド装置が、CATスキャン装置、超音波装置、および磁気イメージング装置からなる群より選択される請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記カテーテルが、前記カテーテルに構造的支持を加えるよう構成される実質的に剛体の導入シースを選択的に受け、且つ前記カテーテルの画像支援配置の間に可視性を高めるよう構成される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナプローブの近位端が、
前記マイクロ波エネルギー源、および指向性アンテナプローブの長さに沿って実質的に画定される空隙と流体連通する流入/流出口を動作可能に接合するよう構成される柄と、
前記マイクロ波エネルギーの放射を方向付けるために構成される前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナプローブの遠位端とを含む請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナプローブの遠位端は、広がっており、且つそこに画定された開口部を含む請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナの遠位端が、流体の流れを容易にするよう構成される穴の開いた絶縁窓を含む請求項11に記載のシステム。
- マイクロ波焼灼術を行うための装置であって、
組織に経皮的に介入するよう構成される開近位端および閉遠位端を含むカテーテルと、
マイクロ波エネルギー源への接続に適用される指向性マイクロ波アンテナプローブとを備え、
前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナが前記カテーテルと選択的に接合し、前記指向性マイクロ波アンテナから組織へマイクロ波エネルギーの放射を方向付けるためにその中で回転可能である装置。
