Abstract
【解決手段】電池100は,インサート成形された樹脂部33によって,電極端子部材31と蓋部材20との間を絶縁する。さらに,電極端子部材31は,蓋部材20を挿通する部位に,ストレート形状の挿通部313を有し,さらに電池ケース10の内側に,カーブ形状の内側湾曲部312a,312bを有する。そして,樹脂部33は,これらの内側湾曲部312a,312bから離間するように,インサート成形によって電極端子部材31と蓋部材20とを一体化する。

Description
本形態のリチウムイオン電池100は,図1に示すように,発電要素60と,発電要素60を収容し,リチウムイオン電池100の外殻を形成する角型の外装部50とを有する密閉型の二次電池である。図1は,外装部50を透視した状態を示している。なお,以下の説明では,説明の便宜上,外装部50の長手方向(図1中のX方向)を「幅方向」,外装部50の高さ方向(図1中のY方向)を「高さ方向」,外装部50の奥行き方向(図1中のZ方向)を「奥行き方向」とする。
続いて,正極端子部材31の封止蓋20への接合構造について説明する。なお,負極端子部材32については,基本的に正極端子部材31と同じ構造であるため,説明を省略する。
続いて,本発明の効果を検証するための試験結果について説明する。本試験では,図3の端子構造(樹脂部の内側部位に電極端子部材の湾曲部が存在しない構造)を有するリチウムイオン二次電池(構成A:本発明)と,図5の端子構造(樹脂部の内側部位に電極端子部材の湾曲部が存在する構造)を有するリチウムイオン二次電池(構成B:従来品)とを,サンプルとして用意した。

- 発電要素と,
前記発電要素を収納し,開口面を有する電池ケースと,
前記電池ケースの開口面を閉塞する蓋部材と,
前記蓋部材に形成された挿通孔を通じて前記蓋部材を挿通し,一方の端部を前記発電要素に接続し,他方の端部を前記蓋部材上に延出する金属製の電極端子部材と,
前記電極端子部材と前記蓋部材との間を絶縁するとともに,インサート成形によって前記電極端子部材を前記蓋部材に固定する樹脂部と,
を有する電池において,
前記電極端子部材は,
前記蓋部材を前記蓋部材に非接触で挿通するストレート形状の挿通部と,
前記蓋部材よりも前記電池ケース内側に位置するカーブ形状の内側湾曲部と,を有し,
前記電極端子部材の表面には,前記樹脂部と接着させるための表面処理が施され,
前記樹脂部は,
前記電極端子部材のうち,前記挿通部と接し,前記内側湾曲部と離間していることを特徴とする電池。 - 請求項1に記載する電池において,
前記電極端子部材は,
前記挿通部と接続し,前記蓋部材よりも前記電池ケース外側に位置するカーブ形状の外側湾曲部と,
前記外側湾曲部と接続するストレート形状の平板部と,を有し,
前記樹脂部は,
前記電極端子部材のうち,前記外側湾曲部および前記平板部と接していることを特徴とする電池。 - 請求項2に記載する電池において,
前記電極端子部材の平板部は,
一方の面を前記樹脂部と接触し,他方の面を露出していることを特徴とする電池。
