Abstract

Claims (14)
- (a)電気外科的発電機に接続するための第1手段をその第1端部に有する軸方向に延びる本体を備え、
(b)該本体は、電気外科的活性端部である第2手段を第2端部に有し、前記電気外科的活性端部は、前記本体の内部を通して、前記第1端部に電気的に接続され、前記電気外科的活性端部は、電極として機能し、かつ前記第1端部が前記活性化された電気外科的発電機に接続されていると、患者の組織に電気外科的電流を供給することができ、
(c)前記電気外科的活性端部は、その周囲の前部に沿って、前記第1端部から離れる方向に、前方に向けて突出する湾曲し露出しかつ導電性の先鋭端部を有し、執刀医が該先鋭端部を組織端部に接触させ骨に沿って移動させて組織を引き抜く際に、前記骨から前記組織を除去しかつ変位させることができるスプーン状体を備えることを特徴とする、電気外科的コブエレベータ器具。 - 前記スプーン状部は、凹状上面と凸状底面を備え、かつ前記電気外科的器具は、更に前記本体内を通って、前記第1端部から前記第2端部の近傍まで達しかつ前記スプーン状体の凹状上面の露出した溝まで延びる導管、及び電気外科的発電機が作動している際に、組織除去の間に生じる蒸気及び/又は流体を除去するために、前記スプーン状体の凹状上面で吸引が確立されるように、吸引ホースを前記導管へ接触するための接続具を前記第1端部に備えている、請求項1に記載の電気外科的器具。
- 前記電極は単極式電極で、前記スプーン状部は中実状で、その上面及び/又は底面は電気絶縁層で被覆され、前記前部に沿った前記露出した先鋭端部は被覆を有しない請求項2記載の電気外科的器具。
- 前記電極は複極式電極で、前記スプーン状部は軸方向の隣り合う2個のセグメントに分割され、各セグメントは、これらの分離されたセグメント間に電気外科的電流が流れるように別個に接続できるようになっている請求項2記載の電気外科的器具。
- ハンドルは、執刀医の手を収容できるサイズである請求項2記載の電気外科的器具。
- 全長が、約203〜460mm(8〜16インチ)である請求項5記載の電気外科的器具。
- (i)(a)電気外科的発電機に接続するための第1手段をその第1端部に有する軸方向に延びる本体を備え、
(b)該本体は、電気外科的活性端部を与える第2手段を第2端部に有し、前記電気外科的活性端部は、前記本体の内部を通して、前記第1端部に電気的に接続され、前記電気外科的活性端部は、電極として機能し、かつ前記第1端部が前記活性化された電気外科的発電機に接続されていると、患者の組織に電気外科的電流を供給することができ、
(c)前記電気外科的活性端部は、その周囲の前部に沿って、前記第1端部から離れる方向に、前方に向けて突出する湾曲し露出しかつ導電性の先鋭端部を有し、執刀医が該先鋭端部を組織端部に接触させ骨に沿って移動させて組織を引き抜く際に、前記骨から前記組織を除去しかつ変位させることができるスプーン状体を備え、
(d)前記スプーン状部は、凹状上面と凸状底面を備え、かつ前記電気外科的器具は、更に前記本体内を通って、前記第1端部から前記第2端部の近傍まで達しかつ前記スプーン状体の凹状上面の露出した溝まで延びる導管、及び電気外科的発電機が作動している際に、組織除去の間に生じる蒸気及び/又は流体を除去するために、前記スプーン状体の凹状上面で吸引が確立されるように、吸引ホースを前記導管へ接触するための接続具を前記第1端部に備える電気外科的コブエレベータ器具と、
(ii)電気外科的電流を発生できる電気外科的発電機と、
(iii)前記電気外科的発電機を、前記第1端部に接続するためのケーブル手段と、
(iv)吸引源と、
(v)前記吸引源を前記接続具に接続するための管手段と、
の組み合わせ。 - 前記スプーン状部が中実状で、その上面及び/又は底面は電気絶縁層で被覆されているが、先鋭端部は被覆を有しない請求項7記載の組み合わせ。
- 電気外科的装置は、MHz領域のRG電気外科的電流を供給できる請求項8記載の組み合わせ。
- (i)(a)電気外科的発電機に接続するための第1手段をその第1端部に有する軸方向に延びる本体を備え、
(b)該本体は、電気外科的活性端部を与える第2手段を第2端部に有し、前記電気外科的活性端部は、前記本体の内部を通して、前記第1端部に電気的に接続され、前記電気外科的活性端部は、電極として機能し、かつ前記第1端部が前記活性化された電気外科的発電機に接続されていると、患者の組織に電気外科的電流を供給することができ、
(c)前記電気外科的活性端部は、その周囲の前部に沿って、前記第1端部から離れる方向に、前方に向けて突出する湾曲し露出しかつ導電性の先鋭端部を有し、執刀医が該先鋭端部を組織端部に接触させ骨に沿って移動させて組織を引き抜く際に、前記骨から前記組織を除去しかつ変位させることができるスプーン状体を備えることを特徴とする、電気外科的コブエレベータ器具を提供すること、
(ii)前記先鋭端部で組織−骨界面に圧力を掛け、かつ骨に沿って前記器具を引っ張って、前記骨から前記組織を切除することを含む、骨から組織を切除する方法。 - (iii)前記第1端部に、電気外科的発電機を接続し、
(iv)工程(ii)の間に、電気外科的発電機を起動して、RFエネルギで補助された組織切除を行うことを、更に含む請求項10記載の方法。 - 少なくとも工程(ii)の一部が実行されている間に、電気外科的活性端部に、電気外科的電流を供給する請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記器具は、前記電気外科的活性端部を吸引する手段を有し、かつエネルギを付与して行う組織切除の間に、前記電気外科的活性端部を吸引する請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記電気外科的発電機は、MHz領域の電気外科的電流を供給する請求項13記載の方法。
