Abstract
【解決手段】円柱型の電池セル1を、電池セル1の中心軸に直交する縦方向と横方向に少なくとも2個ずつ配列する。縦横2列に隣接する都合4個の電池セル1の端部に設けた電極端子を、同一の接続板2に接合させる。この接続板2を介して、縦方向に隣接する一対の電池セル1をそれぞれ並列接続させてブロックを形成し、且つ、このブロック同士を直列接続させるように設ける。そして、各電池セル1の中心軸が平行四辺形の各頂点に位置するように設け、接続板2の外形についても同様に平行四辺形状とする。

Claims (5)
- 円柱型の電池セルを、前記電池セルの中心軸に直交する縦方向と横方向に少なくとも2個ずつ配列し、縦横2列に隣接する都合4個の前記電池セルの端部に設けた電極端子を同一の接続板に接合させ、前記接続板を介して、同一方向に隣接する一対の前記電池セルをそれぞれ並列接続させて電池セルブロックを形成し、且つ、前記電池セルブロック同士を直列接続させるように設けた電池パックにおいて、縦横2列の隣接する前記電池セルをその端部側から視たとき、前記各電池セルの中心軸が平行四辺形の各頂点に位置するように設け、更に、前記接続板の外形を、前記平行四辺形の各辺に沿った平行四辺形状の外形に設けていることを特徴とする電池パック。
- 前記接続板と前記各電池セルとは、対をなす溶接点間での通電によるスポット溶接で接合され、前記接続板の前記溶接点間の部分には、スポット溶接時の通電の分流を低減させるための切欠部を設けていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記接続板と前記各電池セルとは、通電によるスポット溶接で接合され、並列接続される一対の前記電池セルの各溶接箇所と、同じく並列接続される他の一対の前記電池セルの各溶接箇所との間には、溶接時の通電の分流を低減させるための電池セル間切欠部を設けていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セル間切欠部は、前記接続板の外縁から互いに接近する方向にむけて同程度だけ切り込んで形成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の電池パックを備えたことを特徴とする電動工具。
