Abstract

Claims (9)
- 複数の画像ブロックを有するピクチャのビデオ・データを復号化する方法であって、前記ビデオ・データは、前記複数の画像ブロックのうちの1つの画像ブロックの符号化データ、及び該画像ブロックのための単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスを含み、
前記符号化データ及び前記単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスを含む前記ビデオ・データを受信する工程であって、前記受信された単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスは、画像ブロックを復号化するのに利用可能な参照ピクチャ群から特定の参照ピクチャを決定する前記工程と、
前記特定の参照ピクチャ及び重み付け係数を使用して、前記画像ブロックを予測することにより、復号化する工程であって、前記受信された単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスは、画像ブロックを復号化するのに利用可能な重み付け係数群から前記重み付け係数を決定する前記工程と、を備える、前記方法。 - 予測する工程は、
前記特定の参照ピクチャからのブロックの動き補償を行い、動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する工程と、
前記重み付け係数を使用して前記動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を重み付けし、重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する工程と、
オフセットを決定する工程と、
前記オフセットを使用して前記重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を調節し、調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する工程と、を備える、請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記画像ブロックの前記データに前記調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を加えて前記画像ブロックを予測する工程を更に備える、請求項2記載の方法。
- 画像ブロックのビデオ・データを復号化するビデオ復号器であって、前記ビデオ・データは、前記画像ブロックの符号化データ、及び該画像ブロックのための単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスを含み、
単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスを受信する参照ピクチャ重み付け係数装置であって、前記受信された単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスは、画像ブロックを復号化するのに利用可能な重み付け係数群から前記重み付け係数を決定し、前記単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスはまた、画像ブロックを復号化するのに利用可能な参照ピクチャ群から特定の参照ピクチャを決定する、前記参照ピクチャ重み付け係数装置と、
前記特定の参照ピクチャから動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を生成する動き補償器と、
前記重み付け係数を前記動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子に適用する乗算器と、
を備える、前記ビデオ復号器。 - オフセットを決定する手段と、
前記オフセットを使用して前記重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を調節し、調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する手段と、を更に備える、請求項4記載のビデオ復号器。 - 前記調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を前記画像ブロックの差分データに加算する手段を更に備える、請求項5記載のビデオ復号器。
- 複数の画像ブロックを有するピクチャのビデオ・データを復号化するプログラムを記録した記録媒体であって、前記ビデオ・データは、前記複数の画像ブロックのうちの1つの画像ブロックの符号化データ、及び該画像ブロックのための単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスを含み、前記プログラムは、コンピューター上で、
前記符号化データ及び前記単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスを含む前記ビデオ・データを受信する工程であって、前記受信された単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスは、画像ブロックを復号化するのに利用可能な参照ピクチャ群から特定の参照ピクチャを決定する前記工程と、
前記特定の参照ピクチャ及び重み付け係数を使用して、前記画像ブロックを予測することにより、復号化する工程であって、前記受信された単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスは、画像ブロックを復号化するのに利用可能な重み付け係数群から前記重み付け係数を決定する前記工程と、を実行する、前記記録媒体。 - 前記プログラムは、コンピューター上で、前記画像ブロックの復号化の一部として、
前記特定の参照ピクチャから動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を提供する工程と、
前記重み付け係数を前記動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子に適用する工程と、
オフセットを決定する工程と、
前記オフセットを使用して前記重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を調節し、調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する工程と、を更に実行する、請求項7記載の記録媒体。 - 前記プログラムは、コンピューター上で、前記画像ブロックの復号化の一部として、
前記調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を前記画像ブロックの差分データに加算する工程を更に実行する、請求項8記載の記録媒体。
