The first embodiment will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 8. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the package 1. As shown in FIG. 1, the package 1 includes a liquid crystal television 2, four buffer members 3 a, 3 b, 3 c, 3 d and a packaging box 4. The liquid crystal television 2 is an example of an article to be packed.

Four buffer members 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d are addressed to the liquid crystal television 2. The buffer members 3a, 3b, 3c, and 3d are an example of a buffer member and an example of a buffer structure. The liquid crystal television 2 to which the buffer members 3 a, 3 b, 3 c, 3 d are addressed is accommodated in the packaging box 4. The packaging box 4 is, for example, a cardboard box.

The liquid crystal television 2 includes a front surface 10, a rear surface 11 (shown in FIG. 3), a first side edge portion 12, a second side edge portion 13, a lower edge portion 14, an upper edge portion 15, and 4. There are two corners 16 and a display screen 17. The 1st side edge part 12 and the 2nd side edge part 13 are examples of the outer-periphery edge part of articles | goods, respectively. The lower edge portion 14 and the upper edge portion 15 are examples of other outer peripheral edge portions of the article.

The back surface 11 is located on the opposite side of the front surface 10. The first side edge portion 12 is located on the opposite side of the second side edge portion 13. The upper edge 15 is located on the opposite side of the lower edge 14. The display screen 17 is exposed to the outside through an opening provided in the front face 10.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing one buffer member 3a. FIG. 3 is a plan view showing the buffer member 3a. FIG. 4 is a front view showing the buffer member 3a. FIG. 5 is a side view showing the buffer member 3a. The buffer members 3b, 3c, and 3d have the same shape as the buffer member 3a or a mirror-symmetric shape with the buffer member 3a. For this reason, the buffer member 3a will be described below as a representative.

As shown in FIG. 2, the buffer member 3 a includes a resin-made main body 20, a concave portion 21, and a pair of first groove portions 22. The main body 20 is made of a foamed resin molded body having elasticity such as EPS. The main body 20 may be made of other materials.

The main body 20 is formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped. The main body 20 has a front surface 24, a rear surface 25, a lower surface 26, an upper surface 27, a first side surface 28, and a second side surface 29. The rear surface 25 is located on the opposite side of the front surface 24. The upper surface 27 is located on the opposite side of the lower surface 26. The second side surface 29 is located on the opposite side of the first side surface 28.

The recess 21 is provided in the main body 20. The recess 21 is open to the front surface 24, the upper surface 27, and the second side surface 29 of the main body 20. As shown in FIG. 4, a part of the first side edge part 12, a part of the lower edge part 14, and one corner part 16 of the liquid crystal television 2 enter the recess 21. As shown in FIG. 3, the recess 21 is in contact with the front surface 10 and the back surface 11 of the liquid crystal television 2 and sandwiches the liquid crystal television 2.

6 is a cross-sectional view showing the buffer member 3a along the line F6-F6 in FIG. As shown in FIG. 6, the recess 21 has a first end surface 31 and a second end surface 32. The first end surface 31 extends from the upper surface 27 of the main body 20 toward the lower surface 26. The first end face 31 faces the first side edge portion 12 and the corner portion 16. The first end face 31 is in contact with the first side edge portion 12 and the corner portion 16 through a protective bag that covers the liquid crystal television 2.

The second end surface 32 extends from the second side surface 29 of the main body 20 toward the first side surface 28. The second end surface 32 extends so as to intersect the first end surface 31. The second end surface 32 faces the lower edge portion 14 of the liquid crystal television 2. The second end surface 32 supports the lower edge portion 14 through the protective bag.

As shown in FIG. 3, the pair of first groove portions 22 is provided in the main body 20. The pair of first groove portions 22 are open to the first end surface 31 and the upper surface 27 of the main body 20, respectively. As shown in FIG. 6, the first groove portion 22 extends along the first end surface 31. The first groove portion 22 opens from the upper end to the lower end of the first end surface 31.

As shown in FIG. 3, the pair of first groove portions 22 extend away from the first side edge portion 12 of the liquid crystal television 2 and away from each other. For this reason, a pair of 1st groove parts 22 are extended in the direction which mutually cross | intersects. For example, the pair of first groove portions 22 extends in directions orthogonal to each other. The width T1 of the first groove portion 22 is smaller than the thickness T2 of the liquid crystal television 2 in order to prevent the liquid crystal television 2 from entering.

As shown in FIG. 6, the first groove portion 22 extends through the second end surface 32. As a result, the first groove portion 22 opens in the second end surface 32.

As shown in FIG. 3, the recess 21 has a first receiving portion 35. The first receiving portion 35 is defined by a pair of first groove portions 22 in a substantially trapezoidal shape that tapers toward the first side edge portion 12 of the liquid crystal television 2. The first receiving portion 35 includes the first end face 31 described above. The first end surface 31 faces the first side edge portion 12 of the liquid crystal television 2 between the pair of first groove portions 22. The first receiving portion 35 protrudes toward the first side edge portion 12.

FIG. 7 schematically shows a state where the package 1 is dropped. FIG. 8 schematically shows the liquid crystal television 2 and the buffer member 3a that have collided with the ground. As shown in FIG. 7, when the package 1 collides with the ground from the side, the buffer member 3 a collides with the ground via the packaging box 4. As shown in FIG. 8, the liquid crystal television 2 advances in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 8 due to inertia.

When the liquid crystal television 2 advances in the direction of arrow A, the recess 21 is elastically deformed along with the liquid crystal television 2. Further, the first end face 31 of the first receiving portion 35 receives the first side edge portion 12 of the liquid crystal television 2. As shown in FIG. 8, the first receiving portion 35 is pushed down by the liquid crystal television 2 and elastically deformed. The pair of first groove portions 22 is expanded in accordance with the deformation of the first receiving portion 35. Since the 1st receiving part 35 is formed in the taper, the 1st groove part 22 is spread smoothly. Thus, the impact received by the buffer member 3a from the liquid crystal television 2 is absorbed by the first receiving portion 35 being elastically deformed and the pair of first groove portions 22 being expanded.

The elastically deformed first receiving portion 35 pushes back the liquid crystal television 2 by a restoring force. When the liquid crystal television 2 is returned to a predetermined position in the recess 21, the first receiving portion 35 and the pair of first groove portions 22 return to their original shapes.

According to the buffer member 3 a configured as described above, the first end surface 31 receives the first side edge portion 12 of the liquid crystal television 2 when the package 1 collides with the ground. When the first end face 31 receives a load from the liquid crystal television 2, the first receiving portion 35 is elastically deformed, and the pair of first groove portions 22 is expanded. Thereby, the buffer member 3a absorbs the impact at the time of a collision, and can prevent the liquid crystal television 2 from being damaged.

When the liquid crystal television 2 applies a load to the first end surface 31, the pair of first groove portions 22 are expanded. Thereby, the buffer member 3a can be made difficult to crack by receiving a load from the liquid crystal television 2.

On the other hand, the portion of the first end face 31 that contacts the corner 16 of the liquid crystal television 2 receives the largest load. As shown in FIG. 6, since the first groove portion 22 extends through the second end face 32, the first groove portion 22 in the vicinity of the corner portion 16 is widely provided. When the first end face 31 receives a load from the corner portion 16, the first groove portion 22 in a wide range spreads to absorb the impact. Thereby, the buffer member 3a can be hardly cracked in the vicinity of the corner portion 16.

Next, a second embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. In addition, the same referential mark is attached | subjected to the component which has the same function as the buffer member 3a of 1st Embodiment, and the description is abbreviate | omitted.

FIG. 9 is a side view showing the buffer member 3a of the second embodiment. FIG. 10 is a cross-sectional view showing the buffer member 3a along the line F10-F10 in FIG. As shown in FIG. 9, the buffer member 3 a includes a pair of second groove portions 41.

The pair of second groove portions 41 are provided in the main body 20. The pair of second groove portions 41 are open to the second end surface 32 and the second side surface 29 of the main body 20, respectively. As shown in FIG. 10, the second groove 41 extends along the second end surface 32. The second groove 41 opens from one end of the second end surface 32 to the other end.

As shown in FIG. 9, the pair of second groove portions 41 respectively extend in directions away from the lower edge portion 14 of the liquid crystal television 2. For example, the pair of second groove portions 41 extend in parallel to each other. The width T3 of the second groove portion 41 is smaller than the thickness T2 of the liquid crystal television 2 in order to prevent the liquid crystal television 2 from entering.

The recess 21 has a second receiving part 42. The second receiving portion 42 is defined in a substantially rectangular shape by a pair of second groove portions 41. The second receiving part 42 includes a second end face 32. The second end surface 32 faces the lower edge portion 14 of the liquid crystal television 2 between the pair of second groove portions 41. The second receiving portion 42 protrudes toward the lower edge portion 14 of the liquid crystal television 2.

FIG. 11 schematically shows a state where the package 1 is dropped. FIG. 12 schematically shows the liquid crystal television 2 and the buffer member 3a that have collided with the ground. As shown in FIG. 11, when the package 1 collides with the ground from below, the buffer member 3 a collides with the ground via the packaging box 4. As shown in FIG. 12, the liquid crystal television 2 advances in the direction of arrow B in FIG. 12 due to inertia.

When the liquid crystal television 2 advances in the arrow B direction, the recess 21 is elastically deformed in accordance with the liquid crystal television 2. Further, the second end face 32 of the second receiving portion 42 receives the lower edge portion 14 of the liquid crystal television 2. As shown in FIG. 12, the second receiving portion 42 is pushed down by the liquid crystal television 2 and elastically deformed. The pair of second groove portions 41 is pushed by the second receiving portion 42 and expanded. As described above, the second receiving portion 42 is elastically deformed and the pair of second groove portions 41 are expanded, so that the shock received by the buffer member 3a from the liquid crystal television 2 is absorbed.

The elastically deformed second receiving portion 42 pushes back the liquid crystal television 2 by a restoring force. When the liquid crystal television 2 is returned to a predetermined position in the recess 21, the second receiving portion 42 and the pair of second groove portions 41 return to their original shapes.

According to the buffer member 3a having the above configuration, the liquid crystal television 2 can be prevented from being damaged even when the package 1 collides with the ground from below. Thereby, even if the package 1 collides with the ground from which direction, damage to the liquid crystal television 2 can be prevented.

In addition, although the said embodiment demonstrated the case where a liquid crystal television was packed, the goods which should be packed are not restricted to this. For example, other articles such as personal computers, washing machines, and refrigerators may be used.
