Claims (11)
- 患者の体腔の壁における注射部位で薬剤を注射するように構成された薬剤投与ニードルカテーテルであって、
a)近位端と、遠位端と、近位端から当該カテーテルの遠位端面内の針通しポートまで内部を延びる針通し腔とを有する細長いカテーテル・シャフトであって、遠位端面および遠位端面内の針通し腔ポートが患者の体腔の壁に押し付けられるべく構成されるように、遠位端面が少なくとも部分的に当該シャフトの遠位部分の縦軸線に対して略垂直になっており、針通し腔が、縦軸線に対して0度より大きく90度より小さい角度で針通しポートまで延びる傾斜遠位部分を有している、カテーテル・シャフトと、
b)シャフトの針通し腔内に滑動可能に配置された中空針であって、穿孔遠位先端と、この穿孔遠位先端におけるポートと流体連通状態にある内腔とを有すると共に、引込み形態と延伸形態とを有し、引込み形態においては、当該針の穿孔遠位先端がシャフトの針通し腔内にあり、延伸形態においては、注射部位で患者の体腔の壁に遠位端面が接した状態で、針通し腔の傾斜遠位部分の傾斜角にて当該針を患者の体腔の壁内へと導くことによって、患者の体腔の壁内に傾斜した注射経路を形成すべく当該カテーテルが構成されるように、穿孔遠位先端が針通しポートの外へ遠位方向に延びる、中空針と、
を備えた薬剤投与ニードルカテーテル。 - 遠位端面が丸められている、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- シャフトは遠位先端部材を有し、この遠位先端部材は、当該カテーテルの丸められた遠位端面を形成する遠位端と、シャフトの管状部材の遠位端に結合された近位端とを有しており、針通し腔の傾斜部分の近位端が、遠位先端部材の近位端と半径方向に整列させられるか、または遠位先端部材の近位端に近位側にある、請求項2記載のカテーテル。
- 遠位先端部材は、少なくとも部分的に、当該遠位先端部材に結合されたシャフトの管状部材を形成する高分子材料よりも低いショア押込硬さを有した高分子材料で形成されている、請求項3記載のカテーテル。
- 針通し腔は、傾斜遠位部分に対して近位側に置かれた軸線方向整列部分を有している、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 針通し腔の軸線方向整列部分はシャフト内に偏心して置かれ、傾斜部分はシャフトの縦軸線を横切って延びている、請求項5記載のカテーテル。
- 針通し腔は、傾斜部分から、当該針通し腔の近位端まで、シャフト内で軸線方向に整列させられ偏心して設置されている、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 傾斜部分は、シャフトの少なくとも一部に沿って螺旋状に延びている、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 針通し腔は、遠位シャフト部分において当該カテーテルの外側へと開いたシャフトの単一の内腔であり、針通しポートは、シャフトの遠位先端部分における単一のポートである、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 針通し腔は、略均一な直径を有している、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 傾斜部分は、縦軸線に対して約30度から約60度の角度で延びている、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
