Description
前記センサの感知面に係わり合う指の指紋に関連する情報を出力するように構成される指紋センサと、
窪み/空洞または貫通孔を備える剛性要素と、

前記剛性要素は、1つ以上の第1の導電体を備え、
前記センサは、前記出力情報を伝達するように構成される1つ以上の第2の導電体を備え、前記第2の導体の各々は、第1の導体に接続される。
前記センサから前記出力情報を受信し、
前記受信した情報を前記身分情報と比較し、
前記受信した情報と前記身分情報との間の対応を判断する、
ように構成される。
指を前記センサの感知面に関係させることと、
対応する出力情報を前記センサが出力することと、
を含む。
前記出力情報を、所定の身分情報と比較するステップと、

Claims (12)
- センサの感知面に係わり合う指の指紋に関連する情報を出力するように構成される指紋センサと、
窪み若しくは空洞又は貫通孔を備える剛性要素と、
を備え、前記センサは、前記感知面が露出するように、前記窪み若しくは空洞又は貫通孔に配置される、指紋読取装置。 - 前記剛性要素は、1つ以上の第1の導電体を備え、
前記センサは、前記出力情報を伝達するように構成される1つ以上の第2の導電体を備え、前記第2の導体の各々は、第1の導体に接続される、
請求項1に記載の読取装置。 - 前記剛性要素は、前記センサの前記感知面に隣接して配置され、かつ前記センサに触れる指が接触するように設けられる1つ以上の導電性表面部分をさらに備える、請求項1または2に記載の読取装置。
- 前記導電性表面部分に信号を与えるための手段をさらに備え、前記センサは、前記導電性表面部分に与えられる前記信号に基づいて、前記出力情報を出力するように構成される、請求項3に記載の読取装置。
- 身分情報を備える処理要素をさらに備え、前記処理要素は、
前記センサから前記出力情報を受信し、
前記受信した情報を前記身分情報と比較し、
前記受信した情報と前記身分情報との間の対応を判断する、
ように構成される、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の読取装置。 - 先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の指紋センサを備えるクレジットカードサイズのカード。
- 前記センサから前記出力情報を受信するように構成される処理要素をさらに備え、前記剛性要素は、各々が前記処理要素に接続される1つ以上の導電性表面部分をさらに備える、請求項6に記載のカード。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の指紋読取装置または請求項6もしくは7に記載のカードを操作する方法であって、
指を前記センサの感知面に関係させることと、
対応する出力情報を前記センサが出力することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記剛性要素は、1つ以上の第1の導電体を備え、前記方法は、前記出力情報を前記第1の導電体に伝導することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記関係させるステップは、前記指を前記センサの前記感知面に隣接して配置される前記剛性要素の1つ以上の導電性表面部分に付加的に接触させることを含む、請求項8または9に記載の方法。
- 前記出力するステップは、前記導電性表面部分に信号を与えることと、前記導電性表面部分に与えられる前記信号に基づいて前記出力情報を出力することとを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記出力情報を、所定の身分情報と比較するステップと、
前記受信した情報と前記身分情報との間の対応を判断するステップと、
をさらに含む、請求項8〜11のいずれかに記載の方法。
