Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 少なくとも1つの移動ユニットに無線接続性を提供するよう構成された第1の無線アクセス・デバイスに通信可能に結合されたケーブル・モデム終端システムにおける実装のための方法であって、
前記ケーブル・モデム終端システムにおいて、前記少なくとも1つの移動ユニットに対する無線接続のために前記第1の無線アクセス・デバイスにリソースを割り当てる要求を受信するステップを含み、前記要求されたリソースが前記少なくとも1つの移動ユニットに関連付けられたサービス品質に基づいて決定され、さらに、
ポリシ・サーバから受信されるポリシ情報に基づいて、前記リソースのための要求を承諾するかどうかを決定するステップと、
前記要求されたリソースが承諾されたかどうかを示す情報を、前記ケーブル・モデム終端システムから前記第1の無線アクセス・デバイスに提供するステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記リソースを割り当てる要求を受信する前記ステップが、前記少なくとも1つの移動ユニットに関連付けられた前記サービス品質において前記少なくとも1つの移動ユニットに無線接続性を提供する第2の無線アクセス・デバイスからの再配置要求に応答して、前記第1の無線アクセス・デバイスから前記要求を受信するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記リソースを割り当てる要求を受信する前記ステップが、前記少なくとも1つの移動ユニットによって前記第1の無線アクセス・デバイスに提供される呼発信メッセージに応答して、前記第1の無線アクセス・デバイスから前記要求を受信するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記リソースのための要求を承諾するかどうかを決定するステップが、リソースを割り当てる要求を前記ポリシ・サーバに提供するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記リソースのための要求を承諾するかどうかを決定するステップが、前記要求されたリソースが割当てに利用可能かどうかを示す情報を含むメッセージを、前記ポリシ・サーバから受信するステップを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記ケーブル・モデム終端システムにおいて、前記少なくとも1つの移動ユニットに対する前記無線接続のために前記第1の無線アクセス・デバイスに割り当てられた前記リソースの割当てを解除する要求を受信するステップを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの移動ユニットおよび前記第1の無線アクセス・デバイスに関連付けられた前記リソースの割当てを解除する要求を、前記ポリシ・サーバに提供するステップを含む請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの移動ユニットおよび前記第1の無線アクセス・デバイスに関連付けられた前記リソースの割当ての解除を確認応答する情報を含むメッセージを、前記ポリシ・サーバから受信するステップを含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの移動ユニットに関連付けられた前記リソースの解放を示す情報を、前記ケーブル・モデム終端システムから前記第1の無線アクセス・デバイスに提供するステップを含む請求項8に記載の方法。
- リソースを割り当てるための前記要求を受信するステップが、ケーブル・モデムにより提供される帯域幅、チャネル、周波数、コードおよびタイムスロットのうちの少なくとも1つを割り当てるための要求を受信するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
