Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a deodorant cosmetic containing a green tea extract containing polyphenols.
Green tea extract is known to have a deodorizing effect, and is blended in various deodorants and cleaning agents including deodorant agents. For example, a green tea extract is blended in the deodorizers described in Patent Documents 1 to 3 in order to enhance the deodorizing effect, and a green tea extract is blended in the composition for suppressing body odor in Patent Document 4. Patent Document 1 describes a liquid deodorant containing a fragrance as an example. Patent Document 5 proposes and implements a deodorant composition containing a hydrophobic fraction obtained by extraction with a hydrophobic solvent from plant extracts such as yellowfin and ginkgo biloba and polyphenols derived from green tea extract. An anhydrous powder spray deodorant composition containing a fragrance is described as an example.
Here, in the case of a deodorant cosmetic, it is mainly intended to be applied to the skin to eliminate the odor of the body, so it is desirable that the deodorant cosmetic has a low irritation and excellent affinity to the skin. That is, the pH of the skin is about 5.3, and it is known that when an alkaline composition is applied, it causes problems such as skin dryness. Therefore, the composition applied to the skin is acidic. It is preferable. In addition, an antiperspirant is often blended in the deodorant cosmetic, but considering the blend of the antiperspirant and the bactericidal activity, a lower pH is desirable.
However, in Patent Documents 1 to 3, it is a deodorant for textiles and clothing, and its pH is preferably 6 to 9, and is adjusted to pH 6.5 or pH 7 in the examples. Further, the body odor suppressing composition of Patent Document 4 and the deodorant composition of Patent Document 5 are mainly intended for the skin, but none of them describes a preferable pH, and the pH is not adjusted in Examples. .
On the other hand, in a deodorant cosmetic using a green tea extract, it is necessary to increase the concentration of the green tea extract in order to further enhance the deodorant effect. However, as the concentration of the green tea extract increases, the extract odor becomes stronger, and this extract odor becomes more prominent especially when the polyphenol concentration contained in the green tea extract is high. In order to mask this extract odor, it is necessary to contain a large amount of perfume.
Therefore, the present inventors formulated a high-concentration green tea extract and a sufficient amount of fragrance to mask the extract odor when examining the formulation of a hydrous deodorant having higher deodorizing performance. In addition, a formulation with a low pH was studied. However, it has been found that such deodorant cosmetics cause coloring such as yellowing and browning during the storage period. The problem of coloring the deodorant cosmetic is that the deodorant cosmetic is in a dosage form that does not contain water, such as when the pH is 6 or more as described in the above-mentioned patent document, or like the powder spray described in patent document 5. Since it does not occur in some cases, it is considered to be a particular problem when a green tea extract and a fragrance are blended in a high concentration in a hydrous and low pH composition.
Therefore, the object of the present invention is to have a high deodorizing effect by containing a polyphenol derived from a green tea extract at a high concentration, to suppress the extract odor peculiar to the green tea extract, and to prevent coloring during the storage period. An object of the present invention is to provide a low pH hydrous deodorant cosmetic.
In the hydrous deodorant cosmetic containing a high concentration of the polyphenol derived from the green tea extract, the present inventors select the specific compound as a fragrance to be blended and set the blending amount within a certain range, thereby achieving the above-mentioned problem. I found that it can be solved.
