Abstract
【解決手段】摩擦面を有する接合工具10を提供するステップと、第一表面層61及び前記第一表面層に対して傾斜された第一接合部を有する第一部品60を提供するステップと、第二表面層71及び前記第一接合部に対接される第二接合部を有する第二部品70を提供するステップと、前記第一表面層と前記第二表面層とが傾斜又は直交するように前記第一部品と前記第二部品とを対接させるステップと、前記接合工具の摩擦面11を前記第一部品の第一表面層に圧接し、且つ前記接合工具で前記第一表面層を摩擦攪拌して熱量を産生し、前記熱量は前記第一部品の第一接合部及び前記第二部品の第二接合部に伝達されて前記第一接合部及び前記第二接合部を塑性状態にして、前記第一部品及び前記第二部品が接合されるステップと、を有する。

Claims (5)
- 摩擦面を有する接合工具を提供するステップと、
第一表面層及び前記第一表面層に対して傾斜された第一接合部を有する第一部品を提供するステップと、
第二表面層及び前記第一接合部に対接される第二接合部を有する第二部品を提供するステップと、
前記第一表面層と前記第二表面層とが傾斜又は直交するように前記第一部品と前記第二部品とを対接させるステップと、
前記接合工具の摩擦面を前記第一部品の第一表面層に圧接し、且つ前記接合工具で前記第一表面層を摩擦攪拌して熱量を産生し、前記熱量は前記第一部品の第一接合部及び前記第二部品の第二接合部に伝達されて前記第一接合部及び前記第二接合部を塑性状態にして、前記第一部品及び前記第二部品が接合されるステップと、
を備えることを特徴とする摩擦攪拌接合方法。 - 前記摩擦攪拌接合方法は、端面及び前記端面に隣接する第三表面層を有する補助的部材を提供するステップをさらに備え、
前記補助的部材の第三表面層及び前記第一部品の第一表面層が同じ平面に置かれるように、前記補助的部材の端面を前記第二部品の第二表面層に当接させてから、前記接合工具で前記補助的部材の第三表面層と前記第一部品の第一表面層とを同時に摩擦攪拌することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合方法。 - 前記摩擦攪拌接合方法は、前記第一表面層から遠く離れている前記第一接合部の一端に装着溝を設置し、前記装着溝に熔点が前記第一部品の熔点より低い溶接部材を装着するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合方法。
- 前記摩擦攪拌接合方法は、前記第一部品と前記第二部品とを接合した後、前記補助的部材を前記第一部品及び前記第二部品から分離させるステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合方法。
- 互いに接合されて接合線を形成する第一部品及び第二部品を備える摩擦攪拌接合製品であって、
前記第一部品と第二部品との接合後の組織と、前記第一部品と第二部品との接合前の組織とが実質的に一致し、前記接合線が前記摩擦攪拌接合製品の辺縁と重畳されることを特徴とする摩擦攪拌接合製品。
