Abstract
【解決手段】間欠受信の周期を定める情報を基地局装置から第1のレイヤ間の通信によって送信する第1のステップと、前記送信された情報に基づく周期にしたがって間欠受信を行う無線通信端末装置に対して、前記無線通信端末が受信を休止し、その後に前記周期的な間欠受信を活性化するように前記間欠受信のパラメータを調整することの指示を、前記第1のレイヤよりも下位の第2のレイヤ間の通信によって送信する第2のステップと、を有する。前記第1のレイヤは無線リソース制御(RRC)レイヤであり、前記第2のレイヤは媒体アクセス制御(MAC)レイヤである。

Description
本発明の実施形態は間欠受信(DRX)、特に、E−UTRA(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access)およびE−UTRAN(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network)内に適用される間欠受信に関する。E−UTRAおよびE−UTRANに関して説明するが、本発明の実施形態は、他のネットワーク、有線または無線、後に開発されうるものを含む他の仕様または標準に適用することが可能である。
Claims (3)
- 無線通信端末装置と通信する基地局装置における前記無線通信端末装置の間欠受信の制御方法であって、
前記間欠受信の周期を定める情報を前記基地局装置から第1のレイヤ間の通信によって送信する第1のステップと、
前記送信された情報に基づく周期にしたがって間欠受信を行う前記無線通信端末装置に対して、前記無線通信端末が受信を休止し、その後に前記周期的な間欠受信を活性化するように前記間欠受信のパラメータを調整することの指示を、前記第1のレイヤよりも下位の第2のレイヤ間の通信によって送信する第2のステップと、
を有する間欠受信の制御方法。 - 前記間欠受信に係る指示は、前記第2のレイヤのプロトコル・データ・ユニット(PDU)のヘッダおよび/またはペイロードにより送信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の間欠受信の制御方法。
- 前記第1のレイヤは無線リソース制御(RRC)レイヤであり、前記第2のレイヤは媒体アクセス制御(MAC)レイヤであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の間欠受信の制御方法。
