Description
本発明の実施形態は間欠受信(DRX)、特に、E−UTRA(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access)およびE−UTRAN(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network)内に適用される間欠受信に関する。E−UTRAおよびE−UTRANに関して説明するが、本発明の実施形態は、他のネットワーク、有線または無線、後に開発されうるものを含む他の仕様または標準に適用することが可能である。
Claims (3)
- 基地局装置と通信する無線通信端末装置における間欠受信の制御方法であって、
前記間欠受信の周期を定める情報を前記基地局装置から第1のレイヤ間の通信によって受信する第1のステップと、
前記情報にしたがって周期的な間欠受信を実行する第2のステップと、
前記間欠受信に係る指示を前記基地局装置から前記第1のレイヤよりも下位の第2のレイヤ間の通信によって受信する第3のステップと、
前記受信した指示に応答して、前記無線通信端末装置が受信を休止し、その後に前記周期的な間欠受信を活性化するように前記間欠受信のパラメータを調整する第4のステップと、
を有する間欠受信の制御方法。 - 前記間欠受信に係る指示は、前記第2のレイヤのプロトコル・データ・ユニット(PDU)のヘッダおよび/またはペイロードにより受信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の間欠受信の制御方法。
- 前記第1のレイヤは無線リソース制御(RRC)レイヤであり、前記第2のレイヤは媒体アクセス制御(MAC)レイヤであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の間欠受信の制御方法。
