Claims (21)
- 電気車両の不良なバッテリセルを非活性化する方法であって、
前記方法は、
前記セル内の部分的な短絡をチェックするステップと、
どの個別セルが前記部分的な短絡を有するかを決定するステップと、
他のセルから、前記部分的な短絡を有する前記セルを切断するステップと、
を具備することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記決定するステップは、
前記車両が停止している所定期間中に、どのセル又はセル群が最も多く自己放電するかを、バッテリ監視ボードを通して、トラッキングするステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記決定するステップは、
どの前記セル群が最も少ない時間を必要とするかを決定するために、バッテリ監視ボードによって、各セル群が抵抗性平衡を必要とする時間をトラッキングするステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記決定するステップは、どのセルが、電圧平衡中に、ブリーダーセルが前記平衡中に与えるよりも、より多くのエネルギーを必要とするかをトラッキングするステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記切断するステップは、電気車両から、前記部分的な短絡セルの電気接点を物理的に壊すステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記切断するステップは、前記部分的な短絡回路に電気的に接続されたスイッチを開くステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記切断するステップは、電気車両から、前記不良なセルを分離するか、又は切断するために、前記部分的な短絡セルに対して、ノーマルオープンであるスイッチを開いたままにするステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記決定するステップは、前記セルのそれぞれをひとつずつスイッチングし、かつ、前記部分的な短絡が継続又は存続するか否かを監視することによって、前記部分的な短絡セルを検出するステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電子制御されたスイッチを、すべてのセルと電気的に直列で接続するステップをさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記切断するステップは、前記セルの熱管理を通して、前記部分的な短絡の可能性を減少させるステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記切断するステップは、前記セルの過充電を発生させないことを確実にして、前記部分的な短絡の可能性を減少させるように、前記セルの充電管理を実施するステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記決定するステップは、電気車両に配置する前か、車両の顧客への配達の前か、又は電気車両のルーチンサービス中に、サービスマニュアルの命令を実施して、部分的な短絡に対して、電気車両内のセルをチェックするステップを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電気車両のためのエネルギーストレージシステムのセルのバッテリパックから、不良なバッテリセルを非活性化する装置であって、
前記装置は、
前記セルの端部に配置されたクラムシェル部材と、
前記クラムシェル部材に隣接したプリント回路基板と、
前記プリント回路基板に隣接して配置されたコレクタプレートと、
前記プリント回路基板上に配置されたスイッチと、
前記スイッチと、前記セルのうちの1つとの間に配置されたワイヤボンドと、
前記スイッチと、前記コレクタプレートとの間に配置された第2ワイヤボンドと
を備えたことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記スイッチとの電気通信内に埋め込みされたプロセッサをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記スイッチは、前記エネルギーストレージシステムのすべてのセルに接続され、
前記スイッチは、直列で接続され、かつ、前記埋め込みされたプロセッサによって電子制御されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の装置。 - 前記埋め込みされたプロセッサは、前記プリント回路基板上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記スイッチは、前記バッテリパックのすべてのセルを接続する通常オペレーション中に、閉じられることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記スイッチのうちの1つは、部分的な短絡が検出されたとき、前記バッテリパックから、前記部分的な短絡を除去するために、開かれることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記部分的な短絡は、前記セルのそれぞれをひとつずつスイッチオフし、かつ、前記部分的な短絡が存続するか否かを監視することで、前記埋め込みされたプロセッサによって検出されることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の装置。
- 前記スイッチは、ノーマルオープンであり、したがって、オフ状態は全く電力を必要としないことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記スイッチのうちの1つは、部分的な短絡が前記セルのうちの1つに検出されたとき、前記オープン状態のままにしておかれることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の装置。
