Description

Claims (20)
- 第1補強材料で補強された複数の第1複合層を含む第1部分と、
第1部分に係合する母材と、
第2補強材料で補強された複数の第2複合層を含み、第1部分とは反対側で母材に係合している第2部分とを備え、
第1及び第2部分が、第1及び第2複合層に対して少なくとも部分的に横方向に常時荷重を担持するように構成されており、第1部分が、印加される常時荷重の大部分を担持するように、第1及び第2部分がさらに非対称的に構成されているアセンブリ。 - 第1補強材料が複数の強化用繊維を含み、第2補強材料が強化用織物を含む、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 複数の強化用繊維が複数の単向性繊維を含む、請求項2に記載のアセンブリ。
- 第1部分の複数の第1複合層が自動形成プロセスを用いて形成され、第2部分の複数の第2複合層が手動形成プロセスを用いて形成される、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 自動形成プロセスが、自動複合テープ形成プロセスを含む、請求項4に記載のアセンブリ。
- 母材が、複数の第1複合層に対してほぼ横方向に配向している複数の交差壁を含み、当該交差壁がほぼ堅い材料でできており且つ複数の空間セルを画定している、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 複数の空間セルが複数の多角形のセルを含む、請求項6に記載のアセンブリ。
- 少なくとも一つの推進装置と、
少なくとも一つの推進装置に係合し、ペイロードを支持し、少なくとも一つの複合パネルを含む構造アセンブリであって、当該少なくとも一つの複合パネルが:
第1補強材料で補強された複数の第1複合層を含む第1部分と、
第1部分に係合する母材と、
第2補強材料で補強された複数の第2複合層を含み、第1部分とは反対側で母材に係合している第2部分とを有する、構造アセンブリを備え、
第1及び第2部分が、第1及び第2複合層に対して少なくとも部分的に横方向に印加される常時荷重を担持するように構成されており、第1部分が、印加される常時荷重の大部分を担持するように、第1及び第2部分がさらに非対称的に構成されている乗り物。 - 第1補強材料が複数の強化用繊維を含み、第2補強材料が強化用織物を含む、請求項8に記載の乗り物。
- 第1部分の複数の第1複合層が自動形成プロセスを用いて形成され、第2部分の複数の第2複合層が手動形成プロセスを用いて形成される、請求項8に記載の乗り物。
- 少なくとも一つの推進装置が航空機のエンジンを備える、請求項8に記載の乗り物。
- 構造アセンブリが、ペイロードを受ける内部領域を有する細長い機体と、機体から外側に突出して空気力学的揚力をもたらす一対の翼アセンブリと、機体の端部に係合する尾部アセンブリを備え、少なくとも一つの複合パネルが機体、翼アセンブリ、及び尾部アセンブリ内部のうちの少なくとも一つに配置されている、請求項11に記載の乗り物。
- 第1補強材料で補強された複数の第1複合層を含む第1部分を形成し、
母材を第1部分に係合し、
第2補強材料で補強された複数の第2複合層を含み、第1部分とは反対側で母材に係合している第2部分を形成するステップを含み、
第1及び第2部分が、第1及び第2複合層に対して少なくとも部分的に横方向に常時荷重を担持するように構成されており、第1部分が、印加される常時荷重の大部分を担持するように、第1及び第2部分がさらに非対称的に構成されている、複合構造を形成する方法。 - 第1部分を形成するステップが、最初に複数の強化用繊維で補強された複数の第1複合層を含む第1部分を形成するステップを含み、第2部分を形成するステップが、強化用織物で補強された複数の第2複合層を含む第2部分を形成するステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 第1部分を形成するステップが、最初に自動形成プロセスを用いて第1部分を形成するステップを含み、第2部分を形成するステップが、手動形成プロセスを用いて第2部分を形成するステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 自動形成プロセスが、自動複合テープ形成プロセスを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 母材を第1部分に係合するステップが、複数の第1複合層に対してほぼ横方向に向いており、且つほぼ堅い材料でできており、複数の空間セルを画定する複数の交差壁を有する母材を係合するステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 第1部分を形成するステップが、母材を第1部分に係合する前に、第1部分を硬化させるステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 第1部分を硬化させるステップが、第1高温及び高圧で第1部分を硬化させるステップを含み、当該方法が、母材を第1部分に係合した後、及び第2部分を形成した後に、第2高温及び高圧で第2部分を硬化させるステップを更に含み、第2高温及び/又は高圧は第1高温及び/又は高圧よりも低い、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 第1部分を形成するステップと第2部分を形成するステップのうちの少なくとも一つが、第1及び第2部分のうちの対応する部分を硬化させるステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
