Abstract
Description
本明細書で使用する時、用語「切断方向」とは、ブレードが成形物品を形成しながら第1の物品を通って移動する方向を指す。「切断平面」とは、切断方向に平行な平面を指す。「成形物品の長さ」とは、切断平面に垂直な方向における成形物品の長さを指し、押出成形される場合には、好ましくは切断工程の前に押出される物品の長さを指す。本明細書で使用する時、用語「横断面」とは、切断平面と平行である、(後述するような)成形物品又は第1の物品のいずれかの面の形状を指す。
第1の物品とは、そこから更なる物品が切断されてよい、材料のあらゆる塊を表す。成形物品とは、第1の物品から切断されたあらゆる物品を表す。
典型的には、成形物品及び第1の物品は実質的に同じ組成物を含むことになる。好ましくは、当該組成物は、洗剤組成物、好ましくは洗濯洗剤組成物で使用するのに好適な、少なくとも1つの構成成分を含む。洗剤組成物で使用するのに好適な構成成分のうちの少なくとも1つは、石鹸であることが特に好ましい。石鹸は、当該技術分野におけるその通常の意味を有するものと理解される。本発明において使用するための特に好ましい石鹸は、C8〜C20脂肪酸の石鹸である。
漂白剤−本発明の洗浄組成物は、1以上の漂白剤を含んでよい。漂白触媒以外の適切な漂白剤としては、他の光漂白剤、漂白活性化剤、過酸化水素、過酸化水素源、予備形成過酸、及びこれらの混合物が挙げられる。一般的に、漂白剤が使用される場合、本発明の組成物は、標記洗浄組成物の約0.1重量%〜約50重量%、又は更に約0.1重量%〜約25重量%の漂白剤を含んでよい。好適な漂白剤の例としては、次のものが挙げられる:
(1)他の光漂白剤、例えばビタミンK3;
(2)予備形成過酸類:好適な予備形成過酸類としては、過カルボン酸類及び塩類、過炭酸類及び塩類、ペルイミド酸類及び塩類、ペルオキシ一硫酸類及び塩類(例えば、オキソン(登録商標))、並びにこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される化合物が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。適切な過カルボン酸としては、化学式R−(C=O)O−O−Mを有する疎水性及び親水性過酸が挙げられる(式中、Rはアルキル基であり、所望により、分枝状でおり、過酸が疎水性の場合には、6〜14個の炭素原子、又は8〜12個の炭素原子を有し、過酸が親水性の場合には、6個未満の炭素原子、又は更には4個未満の炭素原子を有し、Mは、対イオン(例えば、ナトリウム、カリウム又は水素)である;
(3)アルカリ金属塩類、例えば過ホウ酸塩(通常は、一又は四水和物)、過炭酸塩、過硫酸塩、過リン酸塩、過ケイ酸塩、及びこれらの混合物のナトリウム塩類を含む、過酸化水素供給源(例えば、無機過水和物塩類)。発明の1つの態様では、無機過水和物塩は、過ホウ酸塩、過炭酸塩、及びこれらの混合物のナトリウム塩類からなる群から選択される。無機過水和物塩(用いた場合)は、典型的には、全組成物の0.05〜40重量%、又は1〜30重量%の量で存在し、典型的には、当該組成物中へ結晶固形物(コーティングされていてもよい)として組み込まれる。好適なコーティングとしては、無機塩(アルカリ金属ケイ酸塩、炭酸塩若しくはホウ酸塩、又はこれらの混合物など)、又は有機物質(水溶性若しくは分散性ポリマー、ワックス、油又は脂肪石鹸など)が挙げられる;及び、
(4)R−(C=O)−Lを有する漂白活性化剤類(式中、Rはアルキル基であり、所望により分枝状であり、漂白活性化剤が疎水性の場合には、6〜14個の炭素原子、又は8〜12個の炭素原子を有し、漂白活性化剤が親水性の場合、6個未満の炭素原子、又は更に4個未満の炭素原子を有し、Lは脱離基である)。好適な脱離基の例は、安息香酸及びその誘導体(特に、ベンゼンスルホネート)である。好適な漂白活性化剤類としては、ドデカノイルオキシベンゼンスルホネート、デカノイルオキシベンゼンスルホネート、デカノイルオキシ安息香酸又はその塩類、3,5,5−トリメチルヘキサノイルオキシベンゼンスルホネート、テトラアセチルエチレンジアミン(TAED)及びノナノイルオキシベンゼンスルホネート(NOBS)が挙げられる。適切な漂白活性剤は、PCT国際公開特許WO98/17767にも開示されている。いかなる好適な漂白活性化剤も使用してよいが、発明の1つの態様では、標記洗浄組成物は、NOBS、TAED又はこれらの混合物を含んでもよい。

4,4’−ビス−(2−アニリノ−4(N−メチル−N−2−ヒドロキシ−エチルアミノ)−s−トリアジン−6−イルアミノ)スチルベン−2,2’−ジスルホネート、
4,4’−ビス−(4−フェニル−2,1,3−トリアゾール−2−イル)スチルベン−2,2’−ジスルホネート、
4,4’−ビス−(2−アニリノ−4(1−メチル−2−ヒドロキシ−エチルアミノ)−s−トリアジン−6−イルアミノ)スチルベン−2,2’−ジスルホネート及び、
2−(スチルビル−4”−ナプト−1.,2’:4,5)−1,2,3−トリゾール−2”−スルホネート。
石鹸1及び石鹸2を3:1の重量比で、各スクリューが主に搬送スクリューを有するが、幾つかの混練要素及び逆転要素(reverse elements)を有するウェンガー(Wenger)TX−85二軸スクリュー押出成形機(スクリュー直径85mmであり、長さ対直径の比が19.5であり、押出成形機そのものが750kg/時の押出し速度を有する)中に供給することによって、混合組成物を作製する。次いでモンストラール(Monastral)ブルー染料(アルビオン(Albion)により供給)の流れを、組み合わされた最終組成物が1重量%のモンストラールブルー染料を含むように混合組成物に添加する。201個のオリフィスを含み、各オリフィスが、楕円形環状オリフィスを形成するように3.1mm〜1.2mmの楕円形のピンを中に挿入された5.0mm〜2.7mmの楕円形の穴を含むダイに、押出成形機を嵌着する。各オリフィスから0.2mm押出される毎に、回転式カッターを使用して石鹸押出品を切断する。回転式カッターは15枚のブレードを有し、各ブレードは幅が4.45cm、長さが3.44cm、厚さが0.025mmである。この回転式カッターは2000rpmで回転する。ダイの環状オリフィスは、それらの大きい方の直径がブレードの切断方向と一致するように配置される。一旦形成されたなら、円形石鹸環は所望により回転式冷却機を用いて23℃の空気で冷却され、次いで所望により大きさによって分類される。このプロセスによって形成される成形物品は、ほぼ円形の環である。
この場合には混合組成物を形成するために50重量%の石鹸3と50重量%の石鹸4の重量比が使用されたことを除いて、実施例1と同じ方法を使用する。この場合も円形の石鹸環が楕円形環状オリフィスを用いて得られる。
Claims (10)
- 第1の物品から成形物品を切断する工程を含む成形物品の製造方法であって、
前記成形物品が前記第1の物品から切断される時に前記成形物品の横断面が変形され、
所望の横断面を有する成形物品を得るために、前記第1の物品の横断面が、前記切断工程中の変形を相殺するような形状とされる、方法。 - 前記第1の物品の横断面が、前記成形物品の所望の横断面に対して、切断方向においてより大きい、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の物品を押出成形によって形成する工程を含み、好ましくは前記第1の物品が押出されている時に前記成形物品が前記第1の物品から切断される、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記成形物品の長さと、前記切断平面におけるその最大の横断面との比が、1:1〜1:100である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記成形物品が、テーパー付ブレードを使用して前記第1の物品から切断される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記成形物品が、前記切断平面に対して45°未満の角度でブレードを使用して前記第1の物品から切断される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 好ましくは洗剤組成物中で使用するのに好適な成形物品を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって得ることのできる成形物品。
- 前記成形物品が石鹸を含む、請求項7に記載の成形物品。
- 前記成形物品が実質的に環状である、請求項7又は8に記載の成形物品。
- 好ましくは洗剤組成物の総重量に基づいて0.1重量%〜10重量%の量で、請求項7〜9のいずれか一項に記載の成形物品を含む洗剤組成物。
