Abstract
【解決手段】LCDバックライトなどの照明構成で使用されるレンズは、導光領域とレンズ表面を含む。導光領域は、光源からの光をレンズの周辺に配置されたレンズの一領域に合焦させるような形状になっている。レンズ表面は、光源からの光をレンズ中に反射する反射領域と、光源からの光をレンズ外に透過する透過領域とを有する。幅など透過領域の特性は、光源に対して様々な距離に位置するレンズの諸区域に対してほぼ均一な平均光分布を生み出すように、光源の配置に応じて変わる。

Claims (10)
- 照明構成で使用するためのレンズ(400)であって、
光源からの光を前記レンズ(400)の周辺に配置された前記レンズ(400)の一領域に向けるような形状の導光領域(305、311)と、
前記光源(52)からの光を前記レンズ中に反射する反射領域(405)および前記光源(52)からの光を前記レンズ(400)外に透過する透過領域(407)を有するレンズ表面とを備え、前記透過領域(407)の特性が、前記光源(52)に対して様々な距離に位置する前記レンズ(400)の諸区域に対してほぼ均一な平均光分布を生み出すように前記光源(52)の配置に応じて変わる、レンズ(400)。 - 請求項1に記載のレンズであって、
導光空洞(330)をさらに備え、前記導光領域(305、311)が、前記導光空洞(330)内に位置する前記光源(52)からの光を前記レンズの前記周辺に向けるような形状の前記導光空洞(330)の表面として形成されている、レンズ。 - 請求項2に記載のレンズであって、
前記レンズ(400)が多角形を有し、
前記導光空洞(330)が、
前記多角形レンズ(400)の中辺部の方を向き、前記多角形レンズ(400)の前記中辺部から離れるように光を方向転換させる凹レンズ部分(305A、305B、305C、305D)と、
前記多角形レンズ(400)の頂点の方を向き、前記光源(52)からの光を前記多角形レンズ(400)の前記頂点に向けて合焦させる凸レンズ部分(311A、311B、311C、311D)とを備える、レンズ。 - 請求項1に記載のレンズ(400)であって、前記透過領域(407)が、それぞれ前記光源(52)からの距離に応じて増加する幅を有する、レンズ(400)。
- 請求項1に記載のレンズ(400)であって、
多角形を有し、
前記レンズ(400)の中辺部(611、613)におけるよりも厚さが厚い前記多角形の頂点(622、624、626)において複数の導光領域とを有する、レンズ(400)。 - LCDバックライト(1)であって、
あるパターンに配列された複数のレンズ(400)であって、それぞれが、
光源(52)からの光を前記レンズ(400)の周辺に配置された前記レンズ(400)の一領域に向けるような形状の導光領域(305、311)と
前記光源(52)からの光を前記レンズ(400)中に反射する反射領域(405)および前記光源(52)からの光を前記レンズ(400)外に透過する透過領域(407)を有するレンズ表面とを含むレンズ(400)を備え、前記透過領域(407)の特性が、前記光源(52)に対して様々な距離に位置する前記レンズの諸区域に対してほぼ均一な平均光分布を生み出すように前記光源(52)の配置に応じて変わる、LCDバックライト(1)。 - 請求項6に記載のLCDバックライト(1)であって、それぞれのレンズ(400)が、
導光空洞(330)をさらに備え、前記導光領域(305、311)が、前記導光空洞(330)内に位置する前記光源(52)からの光を前記レンズ(440)の前記周辺に向けるような形状の前記導光空洞(330)の表面として形成されている、LCDバックライト(1)。 - 請求項6に記載のLCDバックライト(1)であって、前記複数のレンズ(400)が、それぞれ多角形を有し、碁盤目パターンに配列されている、LCDバックライト(1)。
- 請求項7に記載のLCDバックライト(1)であって、前記導光空洞(330)の頂部が、前記光源(52)からの光を前記導光空洞(330)の中心軸から離れるように横方向に広げる凹レンズ部分(351)を備える、LCDバックライト(1)。
- 請求項6に記載のLCDバックライト(1)であって、前記透過チャネル(407)が、それぞれ前記光源(52)からの距離に応じて増加する幅を有する、LCDバックライト(1)。
