Abstract
【解決手段】陽極層1と陰極層2との間に有機発光層3が設けられた有機EL素子10と、該有機EL素子10の光出射面側に設けられた配光制御部4とを有する発光素子20であって、有機EL素子10の有機発光層3は、主発光波長が異なる赤色発光層3a、緑色発光層3b、青色発光層3cが積層されてなるとともに、配光制御部4は、有機発光層3からの光に対して表面プラズモンを誘起可能であって、光を出射させる方向と平行な方向に沿って設けられた柱状形状の金属ナノ粒子4aを備えてなる。

Description
以下、本実施形態の発光素子について、図1を用いて説明する。
本実施形態の発光素子20における基本構成は実施形態1と略同一であり、柱状形状の金属ナノ粒子4aの代わりに、図4に示すように鎖状形状となる金属ナノ粒子4bの積設物を用いた点が異なる。なお、実施形態1と同様の構成要素には、同一の符号を付して説明を適宜省略する。
本実施形態の発光素子20における基本構成は実施形態1と略同一であり、図5に示すように配光制御部4を、柱状形状の金属ナノ粒子4aに加え、金属ナノ粒子4aを被覆する透光性被覆層4cで形成した点が異なる。なお、実施形態1と同様の構成要素には、同一の符号を付して説明を適宜省略する。

Claims (5)
- 陽極層と陰極層との間に少なくとも有機発光層が設けられた有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子と、該有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の光出射面側に設けられた配光制御部とを有する発光素子であって、前記有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の有機発光層は、主発光波長が異なる2層以上が積層されてなるとともに、前記配光制御部は、前記有機発光層からの光に対して表面プラズモンを誘起可能であって、光を出射させる方向と平行な方向に沿って設けられた柱状形状の金属ナノ粒子を備えてなることを特徴とする発光素子。
- 陽極層と陰極層との間に少なくとも有機発光層が設けられた有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子と、該有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の光出射面側に設けられた配光制御部とを有する発光素子であって、前記有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の有機発光層は、主発光波長が異なる2層以上が積層されてなるとともに、前記配光制御部は、前記有機発光層からの光に対して表面プラズモンを誘起可能であって、光を出射させる方向と平行な方向に沿って設けられた鎖状形状となる金属ナノ粒子の積設物を備えてなることを特徴とする発光素子。
- 前記配光制御部は、前記金属ナノ粒子と、該金属ナノ粒子が含有された透光性被覆層からなることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の発光素子。
- 前記柱状形状の金属ナノ粒子は、長軸長が1nm以上200nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項3に記載の発光素子。
- 前記鎖状形状を構成する金属ナノ粒子は、粒径が1nm以上200nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項2または請求項3に記載の発光素子。
