Abstract
【解決手段】水の特徴的な吸収帯域は、0.4THzから10THzに広がっており、水や水溶液の混合物の検査において、正確な計測を実現するためには、その領域にちょうど対応する電磁波を発生させるとよい。その実現には、パルス幅を10フェムト秒以上50フェムト秒以下で調整しうるチタンサファイアレーザーをテラヘルツ電磁波の励起光源として利用する。

Claims (5)
- テラヘルツ領域における分光装置において、水のテラヘルツ領域の吸収スペクトル帯域に限りなく近い帯域の電磁波を発生させ利用するテラヘルツ分光分析装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、10フェムト秒以上50フェムト秒以下のパルス幅を発生させる機能を有するフェムト秒レーザー光源を具備した装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、共振器を構成する反射鏡の一つに群速度分散補償機能を有する反射鏡を用いることで、出力するパルス幅を10フェムト秒から50フェムト秒の間で連続的に可変できる機能を有する光源を具備した装置。
- 請求項1ないし3に記載の装置において、フローセルを通じて液体測定物を流動的、かつ連続的に分析できることを特徴とするテラヘルツ分光分析装置。
- 請求項1ないし3に記載の装置において、搬送装置で順次運ばれる紙あるいはプラスチックで構成される梱包体を通じて、梱包体内部の有機分子の吸収を反映した反射波および散乱波を計測することを特徴とするテラヘルツ分光分析装置。
