Abstract
【解決手段】無線伝送システムは、シンク機器4と接続される無線受信機3と、ソース機器1と接続される無線送信機2とを備え、無線受信機3と無線送信機2との間で無線通信を行うことにより、ソース機器1からシンク機器4へ映像及び音声を出力する。無線受信機3及び/又は無線送信機2は、映像及び音声に付随する付随データをその特性に応じて分類し、付随データをその分類毎に異なる伝送方式で無線伝送する。

ソース機器1は、映像及び音声を出力可能な機器であればよく、例えば、STBなどのチューナ機器や、BD,DVD等の各種レコーダやプレーヤ、ゲーム機器などであってもよい。このソース機器1は映像出力機器としての機能を実現するための構成要素を備えているが、ここでの説明は省略する。
シンク機器4は、映像を表示し音声を出力可能な機器であればよく、例えば、モニタやチューナ付きテレビ装置などであってもよい。このシンク機器4は表示機器としての機能を実現するための構成要素を備えているが、ここでの説明は省略する。
ここで、無線送信機と無線受信機との間では、無線制御のために、無線通信制御情報、送信機,受信機の状態や、受信電力、品質などの各種パラメータの交換を行う。これらの情報は、順序通り伝送されないと送信機,受信機間の無線通信にずれが生じるため、タイプ2に分類される。
なお、上記例では、無線送信機2から無線受信機3に対して付随データを無線送信する場合について説明したが、例えば、EDIDは無線受信機3から無線送信機2に無線送信されるデータであり、CECメッセージは無線受信機3と無線送信機2との間で相互にやり取りされるものである。このため、無線受信機3から無線送信機2に対して付随データを無線送信する場合についても同様の処理を行えることは言うまでもない。また、これらのプロトコルで提供される伝送路では、接続されたHDMIの付随データだけではなく、無線機器間の制御情報の通信についても同様の分類を行うこともできる。
なお、上述のメッセージB′の更新においては、メッセージBに対するACKによりメッセージB′がクリアされる危険があるが、ACKに付随させた情報によって、どのデータに対するACKかを判定させたり、より簡単には、キューを送信処理待ち領域と、ACK待ち領域(一度送信処理を行いACKによるクリアを待っている領域)に分け、上書きを送信処理待ち領域に限るなどの実装を行うことで、データの欠落を防止することができる。
Claims (8)
- 表示機器と接続される第1無線通信機器と、映像出力機器と接続される第2無線通信機器とを備え、前記第1無線通信機器と前記第2無線通信機器との間で無線通信を行うことにより、前記映像出力機器から前記表示機器へ映像及び音声を出力する無線伝送システムであって、
前記第1無線通信機器及び/又は前記第2無線通信機器は、映像及び音声に付随する付随データをその特性に応じて分類し、該分類毎に異なる伝送方式で付随データを無線伝送することを特徴とする無線伝送システム。 - 請求項1に記載の無線伝送システムにおいて、前記第1無線通信機器及び/又は前記第2無線通信機器は、付随データの分類毎に、バッファを備えたことを特徴とする無線伝送システム。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の無線伝送システムにおいて、前記伝送方式として、再送の有無、送信順序の並び替えの有無を異ならせたことを特徴とする無線伝送システム。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の無線伝送システムにおいて、前記第1無線通信機器及び/又は前記第2無線通信機器は、付随データの特性に応じて複数の有線伝送ラインを備え、有線伝送ライン毎に付随データを分類することを特徴とする無線伝送システム。
- 請求項4に記載の無線伝送システムにおいて、前記第1無線通信機器及び/又は前記第2無線通信機器は、1つの有線伝送ラインで特性の異なる複数の付随データが伝送される場合、該複数の付随データをそのヘッダ情報に基づいて分類することを特徴とする無線伝送システム。
- 請求項4又は5に記載の無線伝送システムにおいて、前記表示機器と前記第1無線通信機器とがHDMI接続され、前記映像出力機器と前記第2無線通信機器とがHDMI接続され、
前記複数の有線伝送ラインは、HDMI規格におけるTMDSライン、CECライン、DDCライン、HPDラインで構成され、
前記付随データは、前記TMDSラインで伝送されるDIP、前記CECラインで伝送されるCECメッセージ、前記DDCラインで伝送されるHDCP認証用メッセージ、前記HPDラインで伝送されるホットプラグ信号を含み、
前記分類として、前記DIPを含む第1のタイプと、前記CECメッセージ及び前記HDCP認証用メッセージを含む第2のタイプと、前記ホットプラグ信号を含む第3のタイプとに分けることを特徴とする無線伝送システム。 - 請求項6に記載の無線伝送システムにおいて、前記第2無線通信機器は、前記DIPのうち、映像及び音声の視聴中に変化する画質または音声調整用のデータを前記第1のタイプに分類し、映像出力源の切り替え時に変化するデータを前記第3のタイプに分類することを特徴とする無線伝送システム。
- 請求項6又は7に記載の無線伝送システムにおいて、前記第1のタイプの伝送方式は、再送と送信順序の並べ替えとを行わない方式であり、前記第2のタイプの伝送方式は、再送を行い、送信順序の並べ替えを行わない方式であり、前記第3のタイプの伝送方式は、再送と送信順序の並べ替えとを行い、バッファ内に残る状態変化前の古い付随データを更新する方式であることを特徴とする無線伝送システム。
