Description

The present invention relates to a headlamp, and more particularly to a structure of a projector-type headlamp that irradiates light from a bulb to the outside through a convex lens.

FIG. 5 is a front view of a vehicle lamp 100 on the right side of a conventional vehicle. As shown in this figure, as a vehicle lamp 100, in recent years, a projector type headlamp 102 mounted with a fog lamp 101 has become widespread.

FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of the projector type headlamp 102 taken along the line AA in FIG. 5. The projector type headlamp 102 is disposed in the lamp chamber S ′ defined by the housing 110 and the outer lens 120. , A projector unit 130 on which the bulb 131 is mounted, and a convex lens 140 disposed in front of the bulb at a distance from the bulb 131.

Between the convex lens 140 and the bulb 131, a transparent member 150 that spreads in an umbrella shape from the periphery of the convex lens 140 to the vehicle rear side is disposed. Since the transparent member 150 is made of a transparent resin, the interior of the convex lens 140, that is, the bulb peripheral region is illuminated with light through the transparent member 150 during the daytime, so that the lamp body can be brightened.
At night, the light from the bulb 131 illuminates the front of the vehicle via the convex lens 140, and the transparent member itself is seen to shine from the outside of the vehicle.
As described above, in the projector-type headlamp 102 of the type shown in FIG. 6, the transparent member 150 made of transparent resin is disposed between the convex lens 140 and the bulb 131, so that the head is turned on and off. The appearance of the lamp is improved.

However, in the conventional projector-type headlamp 102 shown in FIG. 6, when looking into the back of the lamp through the transparent member 150 from the front of the headlamp, the projector unit 130 disposed on the rear side of the transparent member 150 is located outside the vehicle. Can be visually recognized. Therefore, in order to conceal this, a member (hereinafter referred to as an anti-invisible member) 160 for preventing in-visible is disposed on the vehicle rear side of the transparent member 150. If manufactured separately from the aforementioned lamp components, the number of parts, mass and cost will increase.

The present invention was created in view of the above points, and provides a projector-type headlamp capable of reducing the number of parts while making the appearance at the time of lighting and non-lighting equivalent to the conventional technology. With the goal.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention includes a projector unit equipped with a bulb and a convex lens placed in front of the bulb at a distance from the bulb in a lamp chamber defined by a housing and an outer lens. The projector-type headlamp has a transparent member made of a transparent resin spreading in an umbrella shape from the peripheral edge of the convex lens, and the transparent member has a plurality of reflecting portions on the surface thereof. It is characterized by that.
In the projector-type headlamp of the present invention, the plurality of reflecting portions are formed by performing mirror processing or half mirror processing on the surface of the transparent member. Moreover, a reflection part may be comprised by sticking a mirror film or a half mirror film on the surface and / or back surface of a transparent member.
In the projector-type headlamp of the present invention, the surface of the transparent member is formed by repeatedly forming an inclined surface and a wall surface rising from the rear end of the inclined surface from the vehicle front side to the vehicle rear side, and the plurality of wall surfaces are reflective portions. It is configured as.
In the projector-type headlamp of the present invention, preferably, the plurality of inclined surfaces are subjected to texture processing.

According to the present invention, the appearance of the headlamp at the time of lighting and non-lighting is equivalent to the conventional technology, but the mirror surface treatment such as partial vapor deposition and the embellishment of the texture are set on the outer surface of the transparent member made of transparent resin. By doing so, the inside of the lamp can be prevented. In this case, it is possible to eliminate the anti-seen member required for the conventional headlamp.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the figure, Fr indicates the front of the vehicle, Up indicates the upper side of the vehicle, and LH indicates the left side in the lateral width direction of the vehicle.
FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a projector-type headlamp (hereinafter referred to as a headlamp) 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of some components of the headlamp 1.
The headlamp 1 includes a projector unit 30 in which a bulb 35 is mounted in a lamp chamber S defined by a housing 10 and an outer lens 20, and a convex lens 40 disposed in front of the bulb at a distance from the bulb 35. And.

As shown in FIG. 1, the housing 10 has a bowl-shaped housing main body 11 that expands to the front of the vehicle, and a lid 12 that closes a service hole 11 </ b> A opened at the center of the housing main body 11. A rear bottom 13 extending toward the front of the vehicle from the lower opening edge of the housing main body 11 and a front bottom 14 extending toward the front of the vehicle from the front end of the rear bottom 13 are provided.
The outer lens 20 is arranged on the front side of the housing 10 such that the flange portion of the outer lens 20 comes into contact with the edge of the housing 10 thus configured, specifically, the upper edge of the housing main body 11 and the edge of the front bottom portion 14. Is disposed.
The housing 10 and the outer lens 20 are also made of resin, but the outer lens 20 is made of transparent resin.

The projector unit 30 serves as a light emission source, and has a bulb 35 detachably mounted therein. As shown in FIG. 2, the projector unit 30 includes a cup-shaped casing portion 31 that is widened forward so as to accommodate the bulb 35 therein, and a plurality of protrusions that protrude forward from the opening edge of the casing portion 31. The arm portion 32 includes an annular portion 33 connected to the tip portions of the arm portions 32.
In this embodiment, a xenon headlamp is used as the bulb 35, and the headlamp 1 is configured as a discharge headlamp.
Although not shown, a reflector that reflects stray light from the bulb 35 forward is disposed inside the housing portion 31.
The projector unit 30 configured as described above is made of, for example, polyether sulfone (PES) having excellent heat resistance.

The convex lens 40 irradiates the light from the bulb 35 by converging it forward. As shown in FIG. 1, the convex lens 40 is formed so that the bulb side is flat and is projected in a bullet shape toward the vehicle front side. ing. The convex lens 40 is made of glass.
As shown in FIG. 3, the convex lens 40 is sandwiched by the lens holder 50 together with the annular portion 33 with the periphery thereof being in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the annular portion 33, and is attached to the projector unit 30. Fixed.

Thus, the transparent member 60 is provided around the convex lens 40 with respect to the convex lens 40 disposed in front of the bulb 35. The transparent member 60 has a center region that is open for lens insertion, and has a shape that spreads out from the periphery of the opening 61 (FIG. 2) in an umbrella shape. Specifically, the transparent member 60 spreads in an umbrella shape so as to gradually move away from a virtual horizontal line L (see FIG. 1) passing through the center of the convex lens 40 from the peripheral edge of the convex lens 40 toward the rear of the vehicle. It is formed as follows. The transparent member 60 is also formed from a transparent resin such as an acrylic resin, a polycarbonate resin, or a heat resistant polystyrene resin.
The transparent member 60 engages with the annular portion 33 of the projector unit 30 and is disposed in the lamp chamber S so as to spread in an umbrella shape from the periphery of the convex lens 40 toward the vehicle rear side. Specifically, a claw portion 62 is provided on the inner peripheral surface near the opening 61 of the transparent member 60, and a hole 33 </ b> A with which the claw portion 62 engages is provided in the annular portion 33.

Furthermore, the transparent member 60 of the present embodiment has a plurality of reflecting portions that are mirrored on the outer surface.
4 is an enlarged perspective view of a portion of the outer surface of the transparent member 60, specifically, a region portion surrounded by a broken-line circle in FIG. 1, and as shown in FIG. Is formed by repeatedly forming an inclined surface 60A and a wall surface 60B rising from the rear end of the inclined surface 60A from the front side of the vehicle to the rear side of the vehicle. Mirror processing is applied. For example, the wall surface 60B is subjected to aluminum vapor deposition. Thus, instead of completely reflecting the light incident on the wall surface 60B with aluminum, the wall surface 60B may be subjected to a half mirror process. The wall surface 60B on which such mirror processing is performed has a wide surface so as to face the front side of the vehicle.
Furthermore, in the transparent member 60 of the present embodiment, the plurality of inclined surfaces 60 </ b> A are subjected to a graining process, and the heel side of the transparent member 60 is directly visually recognized from the outside of the light while ensuring the lighting of light toward the heel side of the transparent member 60. Is prevented. The texture pattern is not limited to a leather pattern, and may be a wood grain, rock grain, sand grain, geometric pattern, or the like.
The inner side of the transparent member 60 is configured as a curved surface.

The headlamp according to the present embodiment further includes a first extension 71 in the lamp chamber S so as to fill a gap between the transparent member 60 and the upper flange portion of the outer lens. A second extension 72 and a third extension 73 are provided so as to fill a gap with the flange portion on the lower side of the outer lens. These first to third extensions are members that connect and wrap both the so-called main light and the so-called sub light.

According to the headlamp 1 configured in this way, during the day, the back of the convex lens 40, that is, the bulb peripheral region is illuminated with light through the transparent member 60, specifically, the plurality of inclined surfaces 60A. Therefore, the lamp body can be brightened.
At night, the light from the bulb 35 illuminates the front of the vehicle through the convex lens 40, and further, the light from the bulb 35 is also emitted to the outside from the inclined surface 60A of the transparent member 60. When viewed, a region that emits light in a ring shape can be formed around the convex lens 40.

Further, when the back side of the lamp is viewed from the front of the headlamp 1 through the transparent member 60, the wall surface 60B of the transparent member 60 is subjected to mirror processing and the inclined surface 60A is subjected to embossing. Since the light incident on the wall surface 60B is reflected to the front side of the vehicle, direct viewing of the lamp lamp side from the front of the headlamp 1 is restricted.

As described above, according to the headlamp 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention, the appearance of the headlamp 1 at the time of lighting and at the time of non-lighting is equivalent to that of the conventional technology, but on the outer surface of the transparent member 60 made of a transparent resin. By setting partial vapor deposition and grain decoration, the inside of the lamp can be prevented from being seen. In this case, it is possible to eliminate the anti-seen member required for the conventional headlamp.

Although detailed above, the present invention can be implemented in various forms without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
In the above description, the configuration in which the outer surface of the transparent member is subjected to the mirror processing and the texture processing is shown, but the transparent member in the present invention may be configured by omitting the texture processing.
The mirror process and the half mirror process in the above description are not limited to the process of depositing aluminum or the like on the surface of the transparent member, but include a configuration in which a mirror film or a half mirror film is deposited on the outer surface of the transparent member.
The mirror treatment and the texture treatment applied to the outer surface of the transparent member may be performed on the inner surface of the transparent member. In this case, the outer surface of the transparent member is configured as a curved surface, and the inner surface is formed by repeatedly forming the inclined surface and the wall surface from the vehicle front side to the rear side.
Of course, the headlamp in the present invention, that is, the projector-type headlamp, can also be applied to an incandescent bulb type.
