Abstract
【解決手段】風力タービンタワーは、隣接管状タワーセクション間のフランジレス接合部500上でフィンガプレート組立体510を使用する。風力タービンタワーに剛度を与えるための手段は、フランジレス接合部において隣接管状タワーセクション間の缶間ギャップを制限することを含み、また各フランジレス接合部を締結して歪みを制限するようにフィンガプレート組立体の数を選択することを含む。フィンガプレート540の最適寸法520、530、535を選択することによりさらに、局所的タワー歪みを最少にすることができる。管状セクションの材料よりも低いヤング率を有するフィンガプレートの材料は、局所的タワー歪みを減少させる。カバープレートは、裏当て補強材を含むことができ、またフィンガプレートのヤング率と比べて高いヤング率を有する材料を含むことができる。

Claims (10)
- 風力タービンタワー(100)であって、
その各々がほぼ平面の端部表面を備えた複数の管状セクション(140)と、
その各個々が対向する隣接管状セクション(140)間に配置されたフランジレス接合部(500)と、
各フランジレス接合部(500)の周りに一様に分散配置された複数のフィンガプレート組立体(510)と、を含み、
各フィンガプレート(540)が、円周角(515)、長手方向寸法(530)及び半径方向厚さ(535)を含み、
該風力タービンタワー(100)が、横方向スウェイに抗するように該風力タービンタワーに剛度を与えるための手段をさらに含む、
風力タービンタワー(100)。 - 前記フランジレス接合部(500)が、前記隣接管状セクション(140)間に制御缶間ギャップ(28)を含む、請求項1記載の風力タービンタワー(100)。
- 前記横方向スウェイに抗するように該風力タービンタワーに剛度を与えるための手段が、前記制御缶間ギャップ(28)を約0mmに選択的に維持することを含む、請求項2記載の風力タービンタワー(100)。
- 前記横方向スウェイに抗するように該風力タービンタワーに剛度を与えるための手段が、前記フランジレス接合部(500)の周りに約40°〜55°の円周角(515)で一様に分散配置された3つのフィンガプレート組立体(510)を含む、請求項3記載の風力タービンタワー(100)。
- 前記フランジレス接合部(500)の周りに一様に分散配置された前記3つのフィンガプレート組立体(510)の各々が、約1000mm〜1100mmの指定長手方向寸法(530)を含む、請求項4記載の風力タービンタワー(100)。
- 前記フィンガプレート組立体(510)の半径方向厚さ(535)が、約40mmを含む、請求項5記載の風力タービンタワー(100)。
- 前記フランジレス接合部(500)の周りに一様に分散配置された前記3つのフィンガプレート組立体(510)の各々が、前記管状セクション(140)の材料のヤング率よりも低いヤング率を有する材料を含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項記載の風力タービンタワー(100)。
- 頂部セクション(655)が、頂端部(645)に係合した補剛カバープレート(620)を含む、請求項5記載の風力タービンタワー(100)。
- 前記補剛カバープレート(620)が、裏当て補強材(690)を含む、請求項8記載の風力タービンタワー(100)。
