Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a stress adjusting device for a shape memory alloy, and more particularly to a stress adjusting device for installing a shape memory alloy.
In recent years, it has been attempted to use a shape memory alloy (hereinafter also referred to as SMA) as a driving source of various driving devices. SMA is represented by an alloy of titanium and nickel, etc., and is an alloy having the property of recovering to the original shape memorized by martensitic transformation even when deformed below the transformation temperature, when heated above the transformation temperature. is there. Usually, the SMA is formed in a wire shape, and can be operated as an actuator by expanding and contracting in the length direction by energization heating control.
Since such SMA has a thin wire diameter of several tens of μm, it is possible to reduce the size of the driving device, and its use as a driving source for various driving devices has been studied, and its application is expanding.
By the way, the relationship between the temperature and strain (elongation) of such SMA depends on the stress applied to the SMA, and if the stress varies (stress fluctuation) during installation, the initial position of the driven object is shifted, There is a problem that drive performance is lowered. For this reason, when manufacturing a drive device using SMA as a drive source, it is necessary to adjust the stress applied to the SMA during installation to a desired value with high accuracy.
Therefore, various studies have been made on the adjustment of the initial stress in order to deal with such problems.
σ=K・F (式1)
By the way, such SMA is a shape memory alloy wire stored in a straight line, and the relationship between the stress σ and the tension (generated force) F in this case is expressed by the following (Equation 1). Here, K is a constant indicating the cross-sectional area of SMA.
σ = K · F (Formula 1)
That is, the stress σ is determined by the tension F and the cross-sectional area K (wire diameter D). However, in the method described in Patent Document 1, a desired stress (reference stress) is applied by applying a predetermined tension regardless of the SMA wire diameter. For this reason, when the wire diameter varies due to individual differences in SMA, the stress varies, and the initial position of the driven object is shifted, resulting in a decrease in driving performance.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a shape memory alloy stress adjusting device capable of adjusting stress at the time of erection of a shape memory alloy with high accuracy.

It was set as the structure which controls operation | movement of a tension | tensile_strength provision means so that it may become power tension. In addition, although this invention is demonstrated based on embodiment of illustration, this invention is not limited to this embodiment.

The
One end of the
In the state of FIG. 1B, when a current is passed through the
Further, when the current flowing through the

FIG. 2A is a schematic diagram showing a schematic configuration of the stress adjusting device 1.
