Description

Claims (20)
- 骨係合固締具を細長部材に連結する横型コネクタ組立体であって、
プレート部分および第1の連結部分を有する横型コネクタであって、前記プレート部分が、前記骨係合固締具を受けるように構成された開口を画定し、前記開口を前記骨係合固締具が通り、前記第1の連結部分が、第1の係止面を画定する、横型コネクタと、
本体及び第2の連結部分を有するクランプであって、前記本体は、前記細長部材を中に受けるように寸法設定され、前記本体を通る通路を画定し、前記第2の連結部分は、連結軸線を画定し、前記横型コネクタの前記第1の連結部分と係合するように構成される、クランプと、
前記第1の連結部分と前記第2の連結部分との間に配設される可変角度係止部材であって、前記可変角度係止部材は、前記横型コネクタの前記第1の係止面と複数の角度方向で係合する第2の係止面を有し、前記可変角度係止部材は、前記第2の係止面の反対側に配設される係止部材軸受面を有し、前記係止部材軸受面は、少なくとも一部が、前記細長部材と係合するように前記通路内に配設され、前記連結軸線に対して斜角で配設される、可変角度係止部材と、
前記クランプと前記細長部材との間に延びる圧縮部材であって、前記圧縮部材は、前記細長部材を前記係止部材軸受面に押し付ける働きをする、圧縮部材とを備える、横型コネクタ組立体。 - 前記係止部材軸受面が、実質的に軸受平面に沿って延び、前記第2の係止面が、実質的に係止平面に沿って延び、前記軸受平面が、前記係止平面と交差する向きにある、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記係止部材軸受面が、ある長さを有し、前記係止部材軸受面の前記長さに沿って無数の位置で前記細長部材と係合するように構成される、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記圧縮部材が、圧縮軸線を有し、前記圧縮軸線が、前記連結軸線に対して実質的に垂直である、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記クランプが、ねじ付孔を含み、前記圧縮部材が、前記ねじ付孔内に受けられるように適合されたねじ付止めねじである、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記圧縮部材が前記細長部材に対して前進すると、前記細長部材を前記係止部材軸受面の方に押し付けるように、前記圧縮軸線が前記係止部材軸受平面と交差する、請求項4に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記クランプの前記通路が、前記可変角度係止機構の前記反対側の軸受面に実質的に対向して配設されたクランプ軸受面を含み、前記クランプ軸受面が、前記細長部材と係合するように適合される、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記クランプ軸受面が、前記連結軸線に対して斜角で配設される、請求項7に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記細長部材が、係止位置で、前記クランプ軸受面、前記係止部材軸受面、および前記圧縮部材と3点連結で係合する、請求項8に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記クランプの前記通路が、前記圧縮部材に隣接する第1の幅と、前記クランプ軸受面と前記係止部材軸受面との間の、前記圧縮部材に実質的に対向する第2の幅とを有し、前記第1の幅が前記第2の幅よりも大きい、請求項8に記載のコネクタ。
- 骨係合固締具を細長部材に連結する横型コネクタ組立体であって、
プレート部分および第1の連結部分を有する横型コネクタであって、前記プレート部分が、前記骨係合固締具を受けるように構成された開口を画定し、前記開口を前記骨係合固締具が通り、前記第1の連結部分が、第1の係止面を画定する、横型コネクタと、
本体及び第2の連結部分を有するクランプであって、前記本体は、前記細長部材を中に受けるように寸法設定され、前記本体を通る通路を画定し、前記第2の連結部分は、連結軸線を画定し、前記横型コネクタの前記第1の連結部分と係合するように構成され、前記通路が、前記第2の連結部分に実質的に対向して前記細長部材と係合するように構成されたクランプ軸受面を含み、前記クランプ軸受面が、前記連結軸線に対して斜角で配設される、クランプと、
前記第1の連結部分と前記第2の連結部分との間に配設される可変角度係止部材であって、前記可変角度係止部材は、前記横型コネクタの前記第1の係止面と複数の角度方向で係合する第2の係止面を有し、前記可変角度係止部材は、前記第2の係止面の反対側に配設される係止部材軸受面を有し、前記係止部材軸受面は、少なくとも一部が、前記細長部材と係合するように前記通路内に配設される、可変角度係止部材と、
前記クランプと前記細長部材との間に延びる圧縮部材であって、前記圧縮部材は、前記細長部材を前記クランプ軸受面に押し付け、それによって前記係止部材軸受面に押し付け、それによって前記第1の係止面を前記第2の係止面に係止させる働きをする、圧縮部材とを備える、横型コネクタ組立体。 - 前記クランプ軸受面が、ある長さを有し、前記クランプ軸受面の前記長さに沿って無数の位置で前記細長部材と係合するように構成される、請求項11に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記係止部材軸受面が、前記連結軸線に対して第2の斜角で配設される、請求項11に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記細長部材が、係止位置で、前記クランプ軸受面、前記係止部材軸受面、および前記圧縮部材と3点連結で係合する、請求項13に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記クランプの前記通路が、前記圧縮部材に隣接する第1の幅と、前記クランプ軸受面と前記係止部材軸受面との間の、前記圧縮部材に実質的に対向する第2の幅とを有し、前記第1の幅が前記第2の幅よりも大きい、請求項13に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記クランプ軸受面と前記係止部材軸受面とがそれらの間で鋭角を画定する、請求項11に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記圧縮軸線が、前記鋭角を実質的に二分する、請求項16に記載のコネクタ。

前記第1の連結部分と前記第2の連結部分との間に配設される可変角度係止部材であって、前記可変角度係止部材は、前記横型コネクタの前記第1の係止面と複数の角度方向で係合する第2の係止面を有し、かつ、前記可変角度係止部材は、前記第2の係止面の反対側に係止部材軸受面を有する、可変角度係止部材と、
前記クランプと前記細長部材との間に圧縮軸線に沿って延びる圧縮部材であって、前記圧縮部材は、前記圧縮軸線に沿って前記細長部材に圧縮力を加える、圧縮部材と、
前記通路に隣接して配設された手段であって、前記圧縮軸線に沿って前記細長部材にかかる前記圧縮力を、前記連結軸線に沿って向かう係止力に変換して、前記細長部材を前記係止部材軸受面に押し付け、それによって前記第1の係止面を前記第2の係止面に係止させる、手段とを備える、コネクタ組立体。 - 変換する前記手段が、前記連結軸線に対して斜角で配設された少なくとも1つの軸受面を含む、請求項19に記載のコネクタ。
