Abstract
Description
本発明は、概して民間航空機のための導電ガスケットに関する。より詳細には、本発明は、民間航空機の乗客用窓、航空機のドア等を介する電磁伝播の減衰を補助する容量結合に関する。
航空機の窓およびドアは、大部分の民間航空機の構造に固有の、最も一般的な電磁開口部のうちの2つである。民間航空機の運行中、航空機は、電波(RF)などの電磁放射またはエネルギを常に浴びる。民間航空機は、さまざまな放射線源に起因するさまざまな形態の電磁放射を受ける。たとえば、民間航空機が運行中に受ける電磁エネルギの一部分は、たとえば航空機が地上局等と交信する際、またはその逆の際にRF伝送が送受信される航空機の通信システムの部分に起因する。他の電子エネルギ源には、携帯電話および携帯型電子装置(PED)などの外部放射線源が含まれ、これらは乗客によって機内に持ち込まれ、許可されていようといまいと、乗客によって航空機の客室内で使用されることが多い。

Claims (20)
- 窓およびフレームの間に容量接合をもたらすための容量結合であって、
前記窓およびフレームの間にシールをもたらすためのエラストマー母材と、
窓からフレームに電磁エネルギを伝えるために前記母材に拘束された導電媒体とを備える、容量結合。 - 導電媒体はカーボンブラックを含む、請求項1に記載の容量結合。
- 導電媒体はアルミニウムを含む、請求項1に記載の容量結合。
- 導電媒体は銀を含む、請求項1に記載の容量結合。
- エラストマー母材はエチレンプロピレンジエンモノマーを含む、請求項1に記載の容量結合。
- 導電媒体は、窓が所定の最大エネルギ量を吸収する前に窓からフレームに電磁エネルギを伝えるように構成される、請求項1に記載の容量結合。
- 窓によって吸収される電磁エネルギは、約80MHzから約18GHzの範囲にある、請求項6に記載の容量結合。
- 窓によって吸収される電磁エネルギは、約1GHzから約2GHzの範囲にある、請求項7に記載の容量結合。
- システムであって、
導電層を含む窓を備え、導電層は所定の低い値から所定の高い値に電磁エネルギを減衰させ、さらに、
導電材料を含むフレームと、
窓をフレームに密封し、かつ窓およびフレームの間に容量結合をもたらすためのガスケットとを備え、ガスケットは、窓における電磁エネルギ量が所定の高い値を超える前に、窓からフレームへの導電路をもたらすように構成される、システム。 - ガスケットは、窓およびフレームの間に容量接合をもたらすための容量結合を含み、ガスケットは、
窓およびフレームの間にシールをもたらすためのエラストマー母材と、
窓からフレームに電磁エネルギを伝えるために母材に拘束された導電媒体とを含む、請求項9に記載のシステム。 - 導電媒体はカーボンブラックを含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 導電媒体はアルミニウムを含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 導電媒体は銀を含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- エラストマー母材はエチレンプロピレンジエンモノマーを含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムは、約80MHzから約18GHzの範囲において電磁エネルギを減衰させるように構成される、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムは,約80MHzから約18GHzの範囲において電磁エネルギを20dBより大きく減衰させるように構成される、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 乗物の内部における電磁エネルギを減衰させる方法であって、乗物は本体と窓とを備え、窓はフレームと窓ガラスとを含み、前記方法は、
電磁エネルギを減衰させるために窓ガラスを遮蔽するステップと、
窓ガラスをフレームに容量結合するステップと、
フレームを本体に導電接続するステップとを備える、方法。 - ガスケットで窓ガラスをフレームに密封するステップをさらに備え、ガスケットは導電媒体とエラストマー母材とを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 約80MHzから約18GHzの範囲において電磁エネルギを20dB減衰させるステップをさらに備える、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 約1GHzから約2GHzの範囲において電磁エネルギを20dBより大きく減衰させるステップをさらに備える、請求項19に記載の方法。
