勾配降下方法は包括的な収束法である。概して、これは非常に遅く収束し、つまり、線形化はしばしば狭い部位においてのみ小さいエラーを有するため、多くの反復が必要となる。パラメータvmaxは線形モデルが非線形汎関数に良好に接近する部位において大きい値でしか選択されないため、線探索はこれを全く変更せず、また大きい間隔のチェックが非常に要求される。vmax=2の場合、換言すれば最大値において2つのピクセルの置換が選択される場合、それは良好な妥協からなるパラメータとみなされる。
マルチグリッド法は、漸次線形時間において所望の精度で近似解を演算することができる効果的な反復方程式システム解法である(U.トロッテンベルグ、C.W.オスタリーおよびA.シューラー(2001年):マルチグリッド、アカデミックプレス社)。マルチグリッド法はいくつかの内容からなる。本質的にはそれは緩和、制限、補間、粗グリッド収集サイクルである。内容の選択は基底方程式に基づく。

Claims (8)
- ボリュームデータセットを用いる被調査脳の変化の局所解剖図的表示方法であって、
領域を断面の抽出によってマッピングすることで該断面により被調査脳の2つの領域の境界を検出し、多変量距離測定の演算によって2つの領域の境界を検出するとともに、2つの領域の境界の部位における微細構造の変化を捕捉するとともに参照脳の境界の部位の少なくとも1つの微細構造と比較することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ボリュームデータセットを弾性適応法を用いて標的ボリュームデータセットに変換することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- マルチグリッド法によってグレースケールに基づくエネルギー汎関数を最小化することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記エネルギー汎関数は弾性部分およびボリュームデータセットのグレースケール距離からなることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 領域間の境界が少なくとも1つ以上の構築的パラメータの変化によって確認されるとともに、初期データセットの基底結果ボクセルが獲得され少なくとも参照脳の個々のボクセルに対応するようにして変換方法により変換されることを特徴とする、前記請求項の少なくとも1つに記載の方法。
- 前記変換方法は、個々の場合においてベクターが参照脳のボクセルについて確認することを伴うものとし、該ベクターは被調査脳の関連空間座標への変換を可能とし、複数のベクターが保存され所望の他の研究に利用可能とされることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 被調査脳のデータを標的データセットと重ね合わせ、標的データセットの複数のボクセルについて確認される機能領域がその参照脳の対応する部位に存在する相対度数を示す確率マップを演算することを特徴とする、前記請求項の少なくとも1つに記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの被調査脳のデータを標的データセットと重ね合わせ、それを互いに、または標的データセット、特に確率マップのデータと比較することを特徴とする、前記請求項の少なくとも1つに記載の方法。
