Abstract
Description
(1)気体状試料中の気体検体の検出用の装置であって、該装置はセンサーを含み、該センサーは、該検体および一酸化炭素の両方と結合し、また該検体と結合したときに検出可能な変化を受け、該センサーは、一酸化炭素を遊離する物質によって作られている、または更に一酸化炭素を遊離する物質を保持している筐体中に保持されており、該装置が該筐体中に保持された一酸化炭素スカベンジャーを更に含んでいる、または該筐体を入れている包装内に一酸化炭素スカベンジャーを含んでいることを特徴とする装置。
(2)前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、前記スカベンジャー、前記センサーおよび前記一酸化炭素を遊離する物質の間での気体の拡散を可能にする配置で、前記センサーおよび前記一酸化炭素を遊離する物質と連通していることを特徴とする前記(1)の装置。
(3)前記スカベンジャーによって引き起こされる酸化窒素の検出でのばらつきが、酸化窒素の1ppbおよび検出された酸化窒素の量の10%の大きい方よりも小さいように、前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが前記センサーから十分に空間的に離れた局部的な領域に隔離されていることを特徴とする前記(2)の装置。
(4)前記スカベンジャーによって引き起こされる酸化窒素の検出でのばらつきを、酸化窒素の1ppbおよび検出された酸化窒素の量の10%の大きい方未満に制限する流動を制限するオリフィスによって、前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが前記センサーから隔てられていることを特徴とする前記(2)の装置。
(5)前記スカベンジャーによって引き起こされる酸化窒素の検出でのばらつきを、酸化窒素の1ppbおよび検出された酸化窒素の量の10%の大きい方未満に制限する拡散を低下させる膜によって、前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが前記センサーから隔てられていることを特徴とする前記(2)の装置。
(6)前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、一酸化炭素の酸化を起こす金属または金属酸化物であることを特徴とする前記(1)の装置。
(7)前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、一酸化炭素の酸化を起こす遷移金属酸化物であることを特徴とする前記(1)の装置。
(8)前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、二酸化マンガン、酸化第二銅、および酸化ニッケル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする前記(1)の装置。
(9)前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、二酸化マンガンおよび酸化第二銅の混合物であることを特徴とする前記(1)の装置。
(10)前記一酸化炭素を遊離する物質が前記筐体に組み込まれた重合体物質であることを特徴とする前記(1)の装置。
(11)前記重合体物質が、アクリル樹脂およびポリカーボネートからなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする前記(10)の装置。
(12)前記重合体物質が、アクリル樹脂であることを特徴とする前記(10)の装置。
(13)前記センサーが、ゾルゲル基質中に封入されたシトクロムCであることを特徴とする前記(1)の装置。
(14)前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが粒状の固体であり、前記重合体物質の100質量部当たりスカベンジャーが約0.005〜約0.3質量であることを特徴とする前記(10)の装置。
(15)前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが粒状の固体であり、前記重合体物質の100質量部当たりスカベンジャーが約0.01〜約0.1質量であることを特徴とする前記(10)の装置。
(16)前記局部的な領域が、前記センサーから約3mm〜約300mmにあることを特徴とする前記(3)の装置。
(17)前記局部的な領域が、前記センサーから約10mm〜約100mmにあることを特徴とする前記(3)の装置。
Claims (17)
- 気体状試料中の気体検体の検出用の装置であって、該装置はセンサーを含み、該センサーは、該検体および一酸化炭素の両方と結合し、また該検体と結合したときに検出可能な変化を受け、該センサーは、一酸化炭素を遊離する物質によって作られている、または更に一酸化炭素を遊離する物質を保持している筐体中に保持されており、該装置が該筐体中に保持された一酸化炭素スカベンジャーを更に含んでいる、または該筐体を入れている包装内に一酸化炭素スカベンジャーを含んでいることを特徴とする装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、前記スカベンジャー、前記センサーおよび前記一酸化炭素を遊離する物質の間での気体の拡散を可能にする配置で、前記センサーおよび前記一酸化炭素を遊離する物質と連通していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記スカベンジャーによって引き起こされる酸化窒素の検出でのばらつきが、酸化窒素の1ppbおよび検出された酸化窒素の量の10%の大きい方よりも小さいように、前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが前記センサーから十分に空間的に離れた局部的な領域に隔離されていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記スカベンジャーによって引き起こされる酸化窒素の検出でのばらつきを、酸化窒素の1ppbおよび検出された酸化窒素の量の10%の大きい方未満に制限する流動を制限するオリフィスによって、前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが前記センサーから隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記スカベンジャーによって引き起こされる酸化窒素の検出でのばらつきを、酸化窒素の1ppbおよび検出された酸化窒素の量の10%の大きい方未満に制限する拡散を低下させる膜によって、前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが前記センサーから隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、一酸化炭素の酸化を起こす金属または金属酸化物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、一酸化炭素の酸化を起こす遷移金属酸化物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、二酸化マンガン、酸化第二銅、および酸化ニッケル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが、二酸化マンガンおよび酸化第二銅の混合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素を遊離する物質が前記筐体に組み込まれた重合体物質であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記重合体物質が、アクリル樹脂およびポリカーボネートからなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項10記載の装置。
- 前記重合体物質が、アクリル樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の装置。
- 前記センサーが、ゾルゲル基質中に封入されたシトクロムCであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが粒状の固体であり、前記重合体物質の100質量部当たりスカベンジャーが約0.005〜約0.3質量であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素スカベンジャーが粒状の固体であり、前記重合体物質の100質量部当たりスカベンジャーが約0.01〜約0.1質量であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の装置。
- 前記局部的な領域が、前記センサーから約3mm〜約300mmにあることを特徴とする請求項3記載の装置。
- 前記局部的な領域が、前記センサーから約10mm〜約100mmにあることを特徴とする請求項3記載の装置。
