Abstract

Claims (13)
- ターゲットを光で照射するための光源と、
前記ターゲットからセンサ上に後方散乱された光を検知し、かつ虚血の存在又は程度の直接の関数である出力信号を提供するように構成されたセンサと、
前記出力信号を受信して該出力信号を送信するための送信ユニットと、
前記センサ、前記光源、及び前記送信ユニットにエネルギを供給するように構成された電源と、
埋め込みに関して生体適合性であるように構成された、前記電源、光源、センサ、及び送信ユニットを取り囲む外側シェルと、
を含むことを特徴とする埋め込み型装置。 - 前記光源は、広帯域白色LEDであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の埋め込み型装置。
- 前記センサは、波長感受性であるように構成された線形CCDであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の埋め込み型装置。
- 前記出力信号は、組織毛細血管ヘモグロビン飽和度、細胞ミオグロビン飽和度、及び細胞内ミトコンドリアチトクロム飽和度を含む尺度のリスト内の少なくとも1つから選択された尺度の関数であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の埋め込み型装置。
- 前記出力信号は、差分分光法を用いて生成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の埋め込み型装置。
- 前記電源は、電力を受け取るための誘導コイルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の埋め込み型装置。
- 前記送信ユニットは、RF送信機、RFIDチップ、及び光ファイバのうちのいずれか1つ又はそれよりも多くから成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の埋め込み型装置。

- 組織虚血の前記尺度は、組織死の切迫した危険性、臓器拒否反応の切迫した危険性、心臓機能、動脈又は静脈血管の疾病に対する治療効果、腎障害の危険性、脳損傷の危険性、大腸死の危険性、手足切断の危険性、潰瘍治癒に対する危険性、又は重篤な手足虚血の危険性を含む機能のリストから選択された機能であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の埋め込み型装置。
- 生体組織の組織虚血をモニタするか又は検知する方法であって、
(a)ターゲット部位に発光及び検知装置を封入して埋め込む段階、
(b)前記発光装置からの可視光照射で前記部位を照射する段階、
(c)前記検知装置を用いて前記部位から戻る光を検知する段階、
(d)前記検知された光に基づいて組織虚血の関数である尺度を判断する段階、及び
(e)前記判断された尺度を送信する段階、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - (a)ターゲットを光で照射するための白色LED、
(b)前記ターゲットからCCD上に後方散乱された光を検知するように構成された波長分解型線形CCD、
(c)センサによって検知される前記光に基づいて、虚血の存在又は程度の関数である出力信号を判断するように構成されたセンサ、
(d)前記出力信号を受信して送信するためのRF送信機、
(e)前記LED、前記CCD、及び前記RF送信機にエネルギを供給するように構成された電力を受け取るための誘導コイル、及び
(f)前記LED、CCD、センサ、RF送信機、及び誘導コイルを収容し、埋め込みに関して生体適合性であるように構成された外側シェル、
を含むことを特徴とする埋め込み型装置。 - 前記送信ユニットは、埋め込まれたペースメーカーにリアルタイムフィードバックの目的で直接に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の埋め込み型装置。
