Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に係るガス検出方法は、可燃性ガスを含む検査対象ガスと、希土類元素を含有する触媒3aとを接触させることにより可燃性ガスの酸化反応を生じさせ、当該酸化反応によって希土類元素から発生する発光スペクトルを計測する工程を備え、触媒3aは、電気絶縁性を有する第1の触媒担体及び第1の希土類元素を含む第1の触媒成分と、電気絶縁性を有する第2の触媒担体及び第2の希土類元素を含む第2の触媒成分とを少なくとも含有することを特徴とする。

Description
図1に示すガス検出装置10は、検査対象ガスに含まれる複数の種類の可燃性ガスを検出するためのものであり、発光素子収容セル1と、ガス分離ユニット2と、1つの発光素子3と、光学フィルタユニット6と、光検出器7と、解析ユニット8とを備える。検査対象ガスは、ガス分離カラムなどを備えるガス分離ユニット2を介して発光素子収容セル1内に導入される。発光素子収容セル1内には発光素子3が収容されており、発光素子3から発せられる光が光学フィルタユニット6を経て光検出器7において計測される。光検出器7からの電気信号が解析ユニット8へと送られ、そこでガス種の同定及びその濃度などについての解析がなされる。本実施形態においては、光学フィルタユニット6、光検出器7及び解析ユニット8によってスペクトル計測手段が構成される。
次に、ガス検出装置10を用いたガス検出方法について説明する。本実施形態に係るガス検出方法は、可燃性ガスを含む検査対象ガスと、発光素子3の触媒層3aとを接触させることにより可燃性ガスの触媒酸化反応を生じさせ、この触媒酸化反応によって希土類元素から発生する発光スペクトルを光検出器7で計測する工程を備える。
粉末触媒A:Tb及びNaをドープした硫酸バリウム(Tbドープ量:1モル%、Naドープ量:1モル%)。
粉末触媒B:Dy及びNaをドープした炭酸カルシウム(Dyドープ量:1モル%、Naドープ量:1モル%)、
粉末触媒C:Euをドープしたγ−アルミナ(Euドープ量:1モル%)。
Claims (3)
- 可燃性ガスを含む検査対象ガスと、希土類元素を含有する触媒とを接触させることにより前記可燃性ガスの酸化反応を生じさせ、当該酸化反応によって希土類元素から発生する発光スペクトルを計測する工程を備え、
前記触媒は、第1の希土類元素及び電気絶縁性を有する第1の触媒担体を含む第1の触媒成分と、第2の希土類元素及び電気絶縁性を有する第2の触媒担体を含む第2の触媒成分とを少なくとも含有することを特徴とするガス検出方法。 - 前記第1及び第2の触媒成分は、前記可燃性ガスの酸化反応を促進する金属元素を更に含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガス検出方法。
- 第1の希土類元素及び電気絶縁性を有する第1の触媒担体を含む第1の触媒成分と、第2の希土類元素及び電気絶縁性を有する第2の触媒担体を含む第2の触媒成分とを少なくとも含有する触媒層と、
前記触媒層を加熱する加熱手段と、
可燃性ガスを含む検査対象ガスを前記触媒層に供給するガス供給手段と、
前記触媒層における前記可燃性ガスの酸化反応によって前記第1及び第2の希土類元素から発生する発光スペクトルを計測するスペクトル計測手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするガス検出装置。
