Abstract
【解決手段】熱硬化性合成樹脂のメラミン樹脂により成形した皿本体2の内側面2Aに、メラミン樹脂粉体と粉状又は粒状の酸化チタン光触媒の混合物を略均一に添加し、混合物を加熱状態で加圧することにより光触媒機能膜3を皿本体2に成形し、光触媒機能膜3を15%硫酸の処理液により表面処理して最後に純水により洗浄する。

Description
(1)請求項1に係る発明によれば、熱硬化性合成樹脂からなる基材本体の外面に、熱硬化性合成樹脂の粉体をバインダーとして光触媒を担持させた光触媒機能膜を融着することにより一体に形成した光触媒機能性樹脂基材に構成したから、光触媒機能膜は高い光触媒機能を発揮できると共に、強度性、耐久性に優れている。
(2)光触媒機能膜は、酸又はアルカリ性の処理液で表面処理を施すことにより、光触媒機能膜に無数の光触媒が露出した状態になっているから、その活性を効果的に発揮することができる。
(3)熱硬化性合成樹脂はメラミン樹脂を用いることで、各種の樹脂製品の成形が容易であり、かつ光触媒機能膜を確実に形成することができる。
(4)光触媒を基材本体に固定するバインダーとして、基材本体と同じ熱硬化性合成樹脂の粉体で99%以上の高純度のものを用いたから、光触媒機能膜は基材本体に融着して一体化することで強固な膜に形成することができる。
(5)請求項4に係る発明の製法は、熱硬化性合成樹脂製の基材本体の外面に、熱硬化性合成樹脂の粉体と粉状又は粒状の光触媒の混合物を略均一に添加して加熱状態で加圧することにより光触媒機能膜を成形し、酸性又はアルカリ性の処理液で表面処理する工程からなる。この製造方法によれば、基材全体に光触媒を混合するよりも格段に使用量を少なくできるので光触媒のコストを低減できるし、成形工程は何ら装置的変更を要せずに光触媒を添加するのみで良いため、容易に製造することができる。
図7に、この評価方法に基づき、表面処理条件を異にする大腸菌(NBRC3972)に対する抗菌活性値のグラフを示す。硫酸水溶液の濃度を15%とし、処理時間を24時間とする条件でも、硫酸水溶液が5分の1と希薄で、処理時間が10分の1の条件でも、表面処理を行わない無処理に比べて抗菌活性値は2以上大きく抗菌効果が得られており、濃度と時間の許容範囲が非常に広いことが確認できた。また、10%水酸化ナトリウム溶液の24時間処理においても、無処理に比べて抗菌活性値が1以上であることが確認できた。

Claims (6)
- 熱硬化性合成樹脂により成形した基材本体の外面に、前記熱硬化性合成樹又はこれと異種の熱硬化性合成樹脂の粉体と粉状又は粒状の光触媒の混合物からなる光触媒機能膜を加熱状態で加圧成形し、該光触媒機能膜を酸又はアルカリ性の処理液により表面処理を施したものである光触媒機能性樹脂基材。
- 前記熱硬化性合成樹脂は、メラミン樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光触媒機能性樹脂基材。
- 前記熱硬化性合成樹脂の粉体は、純度が99%以上のものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光触媒機能性樹脂基材。
- 熱硬化性合成樹脂により成形した基材本体の外面に、前記熱硬化性合成樹脂又はこれと異種の熱硬化性合成樹脂の粉体と粉状又は粒状の光触媒の混合物を略均一に添加し、該混合物を加熱状態で加圧することにより光触媒機能膜を成形し、該光触媒機能膜を酸性又はアルカリ性の処理液により表面処理する光触媒機能性樹脂基材の製造方法。
- 前記熱硬化性樹脂は、メラミン樹脂である請求項4記載の光触媒機能性樹脂基材の製造方法。
- 前記熱硬化性合成樹脂の粉体は、純度が99%以上のものであることを特徴とする請求項4記載の光触媒機能性樹脂基材の製造方法。
