Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an operating member for a gaming machine that is mounted on a gaming machine in which gaming media such as gaming balls and coins are paid out when a predetermined condition is satisfied, and is in a state that a human hand can touch when used. .
For example, in a pachinko game machine called Type 1, an upper plate and a lower plate are placed under the front frame containing glass on the front side of the main body, and a handle for launching a game ball on the game board is attached to the side of the lower plate A production button or the like for enhancing the production effect during the big hit is attached to a part of the upper plate or the lower plate.
When a game ball is won by a handle operation at a start opening or the like placed on the game board, the symbol is variably displayed on the variable display device. For example, the stop symbol corresponds to a specific display as when three numbers are aligned. In this case, a “hit state” is reached, and a large number of game balls are paid out as prize balls. At the same time, lighting or blinking of a lamp or flash, or a sound effect from a speaker or the like is output. In the variable display device, in addition to variable display of symbols, effect display for displaying characters or the like may be performed.
Both are stunning effects that appeal to the player's visual and auditory sense of "big hit", but for the purpose of giving the player a stimulus other than visual or auditory, it generates an electrical stimulus or gives a temperature change. Thus, a production technique that appeals to perception is also considered (see Patent Documents 1 to 3).
Among Patent Documents 1 to 3, in particular,
A Peltier element is an element that utilizes the phenomenon that heat and heat are generated at the joint when two different kinds of metals or both ends of a semiconductor are joined via a metal electrode and a current is passed. Sometimes the other end is heated, and if the direction of current is reversed, the generation and absorption of heat are reversed.
In
It takes several seconds to several tens of seconds until the surface of the Peltier element reaches the target temperature from the time when the energization of the Peltier element is started. When the heat is transferred to the surface (0044), even if the surface of the Peltier element reaches the target temperature, it is difficult to effectively conduct the heat to the surface of the “temperature sensing part”.
When the temperature sensation part is previously brought into contact with the Peltier element, heat is always transferred between the two, so that a temperature difference is hardly generated between the surface of the Peltier element and the back surface of the temperature sensation part. Further, when the surface of the Peltier element is heated, the amount of heat moves to the temperature sensing part simultaneously with the start of heating of the Peltier element, so that the temperature difference between the back surface and the surface of the temperature sensing part does not increase. Since the amount of heat that travels in an object with a temperature difference is proportional to the temperature difference (Fourier's law), in the temperature-sensitive part where the temperature difference does not increase, the heat from the back of the temperature-sensitive part (Peltier element surface) to the surface of the temperature-sensitive part Transmission is not immediate, but gradually over time. The same applies to the case where the Peltier element is cooled.
Therefore, even if the time when the heat of the Peltier element reaches the target temperature after the surface of the Peltier element reaches the target temperature is the timing at which the player should be stimulated, in
In view of the above background, the present invention proposes an operating member for a gaming machine that makes it possible to notify the player's perception of an incoming jackpot premonition at an optimal timing.
The gaming machine operation member according to claim 1 is supported by the gaming machine main body in a state of protruding from the surface of the gaming machine main body, and a surface side cover member in which a surface material is disposed on at least a part of the surface, A movable member supported by the gaming machine main body so as to be movable in a state in which the surface side cover member and the gaming machine main body face each other in a state of protruding to the surface material side and a state of being immersed in the gaming machine main body side; With
The movable member is composed of a Peltier element that is located on the surface material side and is in an energized state, and a heat transfer member that is joined in contact with the back surface of the Peltier element, and the surface is It is in a non-contact state with the material, and it is a constituent requirement that it is in contact with the surface material when protruding.
“Surface” refers to the surface on the player side, and “rear surface” refers to the surface on the gaming machine side, but the surface may refer to the upper surface and the back surface may refer to the lower surface. The heat transfer member radiates heat or absorbs heat depending on whether the back surface of the Peltier element is heated or cooled.
The operation member may be a handle attached to the front surface of the gaming machine body or a button attached to the upper plate or the lower plate on the front surface of the gaming machine body. The back cover member is attached to the gaming machine main body with the rear cover member protruding from the front surface of the gaming machine main body, and is connected to the back cover member with the front cover member facing the back cover member. In the latter case, the surface side cover member is supported relative to the main body of the gaming machine so as to be relatively movable in the moving direction of the movable member.
When the operation member constitutes an (effect) button, the surface side cover member is in a state of protruding from the surface of the gaming machine main body when not pressed by the player, and is pressed (tapped) by the player to cause the gaming machine main body The surface material is immersed therein and the surface material contacts (collises) with the Peltier element or heat storage member of the movable member, and the heat (warm or cold) of the Peltier element or heat storage member is transmitted to the surface material.
The movable member is in a projecting state immediately before or before the front side cover member is immersed, and waits for a time when the front side cover member is pushed. The surface material of the surface side cover member comes into contact with the Peltier element or the heat storage member only when the surface side cover member is pushed when the movable member is in the protruding state. The front side cover member returns to the protruding state by the biasing member when the player's hand is released.
In this case, the front side cover member is normally in a protruding state, and when pressed (pressed), it becomes in an immersive state and comes into contact with the Peltier element or the heat storage member, and returns when the hand is released (protruding). By doing so, it is possible to make the player perceive “cold” or “heat” at the timing when the player issues a command to push (hit) the operation member from the control means of the gaming machine main body.
In addition, as long as the movable member is in an immersive state, even if the surface side cover member is pressed, the surface material does not come into contact with the Peltier element or the heat storage member. However, it is possible to make the player recognize “premonition” only when necessary without perceiving “cold” or “heat”.
The surface of the Peltier element may directly contact the surface material, or may contact the surface material indirectly through a heat storage member bonded to the surface of the Peltier element as described in
In order to transfer the heat of the Peltier element to the surface material, the Peltier element may be brought into direct contact with the back surface of the surface material. In
When the Peltier element is in direct contact with the surface material, and the back surface of the surface material is a flat surface, the surface area of the Peltier element on the surface material side when contacting the Peltier element as a ready-made product having both surfaces flat Therefore, when an off-the-shelf product is used as the Peltier element, heat transfer efficiency from the Peltier element to the surface material is maximized.
In
When the Peltier element is in direct contact with the surface material, if the back surface of the surface material is a curved surface, the surface of the Peltier element is formed into a curved surface having the same curvature as the back surface of the surface material. Since the contact area corresponding to the surface area on the surface material side of the Peltier element can be ensured, heat transfer efficiency from the Peltier element to the surface material is maximized.

A dedicated power supply device is connected to the Peltier element, and control means for determining the energization start timing (timing) of the Peltier element, that is, cooling to the surface on the surface material side or heating start timing is connected to the power supply apparatus. . Although temperature control means for setting (adjusting) the cooling or heating temperature may be connected to the Peltier element, it is not always necessary to connect the temperature control means if the cooling or heating temperature is determined in advance. . The cooling temperature or heating temperature is basically determined by the voltage between terminals, and the set temperature can be adjusted by adjusting the energization time.
The control means is whether or not a predetermined starting condition such as winning a game ball at a starting point is established, and a surface material of a Peltier element or a heat storage member (hereinafter referred to as a Peltier element or the like in this item) It is determined whether the side surface has reached the target temperature. The control means issues a command (signal) to the power supply device based on the former judgment, starts cooling or heating the Peltier element, and supports the movable member movably based on the latter judgment, and supports it on the gaming machine body. A protrusion command is issued to the support member (Claim 5), and the Peltier element or the like is brought into contact with the surface material. Switching between cooling and heating is performed by a current selector switch connected to the power supply device.
Since at least several seconds to several tens of seconds are required to reach the temperature set by the Peltier element, the timing (timing) for supplying a current to the Peltier element is determined in consideration of the timing when the movable member is brought into the protruding state. As an example, it may be possible to start energization of the Peltier device when a game ball wins a starting opening or the like, or after that there is a possibility that it will become a “hit state”. Set to
With the start of energization of the Peltier element, a current in a predetermined direction flows through the Peltier element, and the surface of the Peltier element or the like is cooled or heated until it reaches a set (target) temperature. When the heat storage member is joined, the surface of the Peltier element is cooled or heated, so that the heat is conducted to the heat storage member joined to the surface of the Peltier element, and the heat storage member is also cooled or heated. The
When the heat storage member is joined, if the surface of the Peltier element is cooled, the heat of the heat storage member moves to the Peltier element to cool the heat storage member, and if the surface of the Peltier element is heated, the Peltier element The heat storage member is heated by the heat of the element moving to the heat storage member.
The temperature sensor detects that the surface of the Peltier element or the like has reached the set temperature, and the support member causes the movable member to protrude in response to a command from the control means that receives the detection signal from the temperature sensor. When the heat storage member is joined, copper, an aluminum alloy or other metal material having high thermal conductivity is mainly used for the heat storage member, but aluminum is suitable in terms of weight reduction. A temperature sensor is not always necessary.By determining that the surface temperature of the Peltier element, etc. has reached a certain value from the energization time to the Peltier element, a command is sent from the power supply device to the control means when the certain energization time has elapsed. It may be emitted. When the Peltier element reaches a certain temperature, it can also be determined that the heat storage member has reached a certain temperature.
A detection signal from the temperature sensor that the Peltier element or the like has reached the set temperature is sent to the control means, and the control means projects the movable member to a support member that movably supports the movable member based on the detection signal from the temperature sensor or the like. Send a command to The number of protrusions of the movable member for causing the player to predict the arrival of the jackpot may be repeated several times per unit time regardless of whether the protrusion is one time or multiple times.
The timing of the protrusion of the movable member is the time when the Peltier element etc. reaches the set temperature, such as after the start condition is satisfied, or after that, but the player has a big prediction (expectation) as in the case where the operation member is a handle. In the case of being used for the purpose of informing the feeling), for example, the projecting time is any timing before the “big hit state” is reached.
The movable member protrudes at the timing to inform the player of the arrival of the “big hit”, the Peltier element etc. comes into contact with the surface material of the operation member, and the amount of heat according to the temperature difference between the Peltier element etc. and the surface material is transmitted to the surface material As a result, it is possible to recognize the temperature change that suggests the arrival of the “big hit” at the optimal timing that should be given to the player after the occurrence of preconditions before the “big hit”, such as a winning at the start of the game ball. It is possible, and it is possible to appeal the player to the perception of “big hit” without causing a time lag. As a result, during the production control that shifts to “big hit”, the player can “cool” or “through” the operation member (handle) at the same time as or after the contact between the Peltier element and the surface material due to the protrusion of the movable member. Since the “heat” can be felt (experienced), the expectation given to the player can be greatly expanded.
In particular, in the present invention, it is possible to complete the cooling and heating of the Peltier element etc. before contacting the surface material such as the Peltier element. Therefore, when the Peltier element etc. contacts the surface material, the Peltier element etc. It is possible to increase the temperature difference with the surface material.
The amount of heat I (heat transfer rate) per unit area flowing from the high temperature side to the low temperature side per unit time for the same material of the same thickness d (thermal conductivity κ (W / mK)) is the temperature difference ΔT between the high temperature and the low temperature. It is proportional (I = κΔT / d) (Fourier's law). In other words, the moving speed of the amount of heat flowing through an object of the same material having the same thickness increases as the temperature difference between the front surface and the back surface of the object increases. Therefore, the heat transfer between the Peltier element and the surface material whose temperature difference with the surface material is brought into contact with the surface material can be rapidly caused between them and between the back surface and the surface. It is possible to complete the transfer of heat from the element or the like to the surface material or vice versa in an instant or in a short time within about 1 second. Hereinafter, “heat transfer” includes transmission opposite to the transmission from the high temperature side member to the low temperature side member.
The Peltier element or the like contacts or collides with the back surface of the surface material of the operation member due to the protrusion of the movable member by the support member that has received a command from the control means. The state in which the Peltier element or the like is in contact with the back surface of the surface material is maintained for about 1 / several to several seconds until the transfer of heat between the Peltier element and the surface material is completed. As will be described later, this holding is automatically performed by dividing a shaft member, which is a part of the movable member, into a distal end portion and a base portion so as to be relatively movable and interposing a cushioning material therebetween. After the Peltier element or the like reaches the set temperature, the movable member may be left in a standby state without being protruded.
The support member supports the movable member so as to be movable between an immersion position and a projecting position that contacts the surface material, for example, by transmitting linear motion or rotational motion to the movable member, or converting rotational motion into linear motion. The movable member is supported so as to be movable in the protruding and retracting direction. Although a solenoid and a motor are mainly used for a support member (drive mechanism), the form of a support member is not ask | required.
The heat transfer effect can be improved by reducing the thickness of the surface material, but if the influence of impact due to contact with a movable member or collision becomes a problem as the thickness is reduced, the surface material has an elastic deformation capability. By using a high (ductile) material, the problem is avoided. When the surface material is made thin, the degree of thinness is the requirement that the heat conduction from the back surface of the surface material to the surface be performed within a very short time, and the impact due to contact or collision with Peltier elements etc. Is set in a range that satisfies the requirements of enduring.
When the movable member protrudes and the Peltier element or the like contacts the surface material, heat transfer from the surface material to the Peltier element or vice versa occurs depending on the state of the Peltier element, that is, the cooling state or the heating state. The surface material is cooled or heated.
The position of the surface material may be at least part of the surface side cover member, and the surface material is disposed at any position on the peripheral surface of the surface side cover member in addition to the front surface on the player side. The moving direction of the movable member is determined according to the position of the surface material. In the case of the front surface, the moving direction is the direction in which the gaming machine and the player face each other, that is, the depth direction of the gaming machine. Inclined direction.
Peltier elements are placed in a cooled or heated state from when the movable member is in an immersive state, so that heat from the Peltier element is transferred to the surface material by convection or radiation by heat dissipation or heat absorption before contacting the surface material. There is a possibility that. For this problem, the distance between the surface of the Peltier element or the like and the back surface of the surface material is secured, and the difference between the surface temperature of the Peltier element or the like and the room temperature (temperature of the surface material) is set as the distance. It is possible to avoid the transfer of heat to the surface material due to convection and radiation in an immersive state by setting within the corresponding range.
Specifically, in the case where an aluminum plate having a thickness of 1 / several to several mm (thermal conductivity at 25 ° C .: 238 (W / mK)) is used as the surface material, a Peltier element or the like (Peltier element, Or when the movable member is in an immersive state, the gap between the movable member and the surface material, that is, the surface of the Peltier element or the like and the surface material back surface By ensuring a distance of 1.5 mm or more between them, there is substantially no heat transfer by convection or radiation between the Peltier element or the like and the surface material (the surface material is not cooled during cooling of the Peltier element or the like). It is confirmed that the player does not perceive that it is starting to cool. In order to reliably avoid the transfer of heat between the Peltier element or the like and the surface material, it is appropriate to secure a distance of about 2.0 mm or more between them.
Therefore, when aluminum or aluminum alloy is used for the surface material, the cooling or heating of the Peltier element is completed as long as the distance (gap) between the Peltier element and the surface material is 1.5 mm or more. Even in such a state, it is possible to suppress the transfer of heat due to convection and radiation between the Peltier element etc. and the surface material, and as a result, the player should be given just the right amount to give without being aware of it in advance. It is possible to perceive the feeling of “big hit” at the timing.
In addition, when the surface of the Peltier element is cooled to give a cold touch to the person's hand in contact with the surface material, the back surface of the Peltier element is in a heated state. May affect equipment (temperature sensor, power supply, etc.). With respect to this problem, since the heat transfer member is joined to the back surface of the Peltier element, heat is dissipated from the surface of the heat transfer member, so that it is possible to suppress the temperature rise inside the operation member. . Even when the surface of the Peltier element is heated to give a hot touch to the human hand, the heat transfer member on the back of the Peltier element is cooled, and the temperature rise inside the operation member can be suppressed by removing the surrounding heat. .
The amount of heat released from the heat transfer member is the sum of the amount of heat absorbed when cooling the surface of the Peltier element and the amount of power consumed for cooling, but the amount of heat released from the object is proportional to the surface area of the object. Keeping the volume larger than the volume of the Peltier element, or keeping the heat transfer member in a corrugated shape, suppresses the temperature rise of the heat transfer member while ensuring the temperature change (drop) of the Peltier element from room temperature. Is possible.
Since the amount of heat released and absorbed from the object increases as the surface area of the object increases, for example, when the same substance (material) is used for the heat transfer member and the heat storage member, the mass of the heat transfer member is the mass of the heat storage member. By making it larger, it is possible to earn a heat radiation amount from the heat transfer member. If the heat transfer member is formed in a shape having a large number of projections and depressions, the surface area increases, so that the heat radiation from the heat transfer member surface when the surface of the Peltier element is cooled (the back surface of the Peltier element is heated) is dispersed. It is possible, and it is possible to suppress the heat of heat inside the operation member. In order to promote heat dissipation from the heat transfer member, a fan is also disposed on the back surface of the heat transfer member.
In particular, by making the heat transfer member in a shape that matches the shape of the operation member, the space inside the operation member can be actively used for heat dissipation. For example, if the heat transfer member has a shape in which a large number of plates are skewered, the heat from the Peltier element is not transferred by heat conduction from one end to the other end of the heat transfer member. Since the heat transfer from the heat transfer member is performed at the same time as the heat transfer member is transmitted to the heat transfer member, it is possible to alleviate or prevent the situation where the surface of the heat transfer member on the Peltier element side is overheated. “Making the heat transfer member in a shape that matches the shape of the operation member” means, for example, gradually reducing the size of the plate from the Peltier element side to the gaming machine main body side.
In order to arrange a movable member consisting of a Peltier element and a heat transfer member bonded to the back surface of the Peltier element or a heat storage member bonded to the surface of the Peltier element on the back side of the surface material fixed to a part of the operation member When the movable member is immersed, the Peltier element or the heat storage member is cooled or heated by energizing the Peltier element, and when the Peltier element or the heat storage member reaches the set temperature, the movable member is projected. The temperature of the Peltier element can be transmitted to the surface material in a state where the temperature difference from the Peltier element is large within a short time. Therefore, it is possible to reliably notify the jackpot premonition (expectation) at a timing optimal for the player's perception.
Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

The

The
The
The

As shown in FIG. 1, the
Either the front surface or the back surface of the
The
When the
The amount of heat released from the object and the amount of heat absorbed vary depending on the surface area of the object. The larger the surface area of the object, the greater the amount of heat released and absorbed. Therefore, the heat transfer by the
The
The
Further, since it is assumed that the
The
FIG. 1 shows a case where a
The
The stroke (L2) of the
The
After the relative movement distance between the
When the

FIG. 2 shows an example in which the
As shown in FIG. 2B, the

When the temperature sensor detects that the
When the

Normally, the
When the

A
The
As described above, the
In a state where no current flows through the
On the other hand, when the second
In the

(Step S4) to (Step S6)
When the effect command is transmitted, the symbol control board 204, the
(Step S7)
The effect command determined in step S3 is also transmitted from the
That is, the
(Step S101) (Step S102)
When the effect command is transmitted, the
(Step S103)
In step S103, it is determined whether or not the
(Step S104)
If the cooling level is any one of “1” to “3” in step S103, the
(Step S105)
The
When the drive mechanism 7 (the current of the solenoid 71) is controlled as described above and the
(Step S106)
The
In the production of the code “200”, while the production time of the

If the

(Step S8)
When each effect is completed as described above, it is determined in step S8 whether or not the jackpot is confirmed as shown in FIG. 13. If the jackpot is not found, the process returns to step S1 to detect the start winning opening. It waits for the
