Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electromagnet (EM) type actuator and a planar motor using the same.
Electromagnet actuators that can be easily stacked compared to permanent magnet actuators have attracted attention in terms of high thrust.
19A and 19B show a first conventional electromagnet actuator, where FIG. 19A is an overall perspective view and FIG. 19B is a partial sectional perspective view (see Non-Patent Document 1). In FIG. 19, the stator core 101a has a plurality of core teeth arranged in the X direction and extending in the Y direction, and the stator core 101b is also arranged in the X direction and extending in the Y direction. It has a plurality of core teeth. In this case, the core teeth of the stator core 101a are opposed to the core teeth of the stator core 101b. The frame core 101c is for forming a magnetic path together with the stator cores 101a and 101b.
The coil 102 generates a magnetic flux in the X direction with respect to the stator cores 101a and 101b. In this case, after the coil 102 is wound around the stator cores 101a and 101b, the frame core 101c is coupled to the stator cores 101a and 101b. Alternatively, the coil 102 may be wound around the stator cores 101a and 101b after the frame core 101c is coupled to the stator cores 101a and 101b. As a result, the magnetic flux passes through the frame core 101c along the X direction, but is opposite to the direction of the magnetic flux in the stator cores 101a and 101b. That is, this magnetic flux mainly passes through a magnetic path formed by the stator cores 101a and 101b and the frame core 101c.
On the other hand, the
In FIG. 19, the magnetic flux passing through one magnetic body in the
20A and 20B show a second conventional electromagnet actuator, where FIG. 20A is an overall perspective view and FIG. 20B is a partial sectional perspective view. This electromagnet actuator is the most common linear motor. In FIG. 20, the stator core 201a has a plurality of core teeth arranged in the X direction and extending in the Y direction, and the stator core 201b is also arranged in the X direction and extending in the Y direction. It has a plurality of core teeth. In this case, the core teeth of the stator core 201a are opposed to the core teeth of the stator core 201b. The frame core 201c is for forming a magnetic path together with the stator cores 201a and 201b, and is coupled to the stator cores 201a and 201b, for example. That is, the magnetic flux mainly passes through a magnetic path formed by the stator cores 201a and 201b and the frame core 201c.
The coil 202 is for generating a magnetic flux in the Z direction with respect to the stator cores 201a and 201b. In this case, after the coil 202 is wound around the frame core 201c, the frame core 201c is coupled to the stator cores 201a and 201b. The coil 202 may be wound around the frame core 201c after the frame core 201c is coupled to the stator cores 201a and 201b. As a result, the above magnetic flux also passes through the frame core 201c along the Z direction.
On the other hand, the mover 203 is provided between the stator cores 201a and 201b so as to be movable in the X direction, and has a magnetic body and a non-magnetic body that are alternately arranged in the X direction. In this case, a part of the mover 203 exists in the magnetic path. In FIG. 20, the nonmagnetic material is omitted.
In FIG. 20, the magnetic flux passing through one magnetic body in the mover 203 hardly passes through the plurality of gaps in the stator core 201a and the plurality of nonmagnetic bodies in the mover 203, so that the magnetic resistance of one magnetic circuit Is small and therefore contributes to an increase in average thrust. However, with respect to the magnetic flux passing through one magnetic body in the movable element 203 when laminated, the increase in the magnetic resistance due to the gap in the Z direction due to the lamination is relatively large. This is considered to have an adverse effect on the increase in thrust.
FIG. 21 is a graph showing the average thrust of the electromagnet actuators of FIGS. 19 and 20 under substantially the same conditions. That is, the average thrust of the electromagnet actuator shown in FIG. 20 is excellent at about 40 times the average thrust of the electromagnet actuator shown in FIG. This is considered to be based on the fact that the magnetoresistance in the magnetic circuit of FIG. 20 is smaller than that in the magnetic circuit of FIG. That is, there is a problem that the average thrust of the first conventional electromagnet actuator is inferior.
22A and 22B are graphs showing average thrusts under substantially the same conditions when the electromagnet actuators of FIGS. 19 and 20 are multilayered, respectively. That is, in FIG. 22, the number of
In FIGS. 19 and 20, since the coils 102 and 202 serving as heat sources are in the vicinity of the stator cores 101a and 101b; 201a and 201b and the
Furthermore, in FIGS. 19 and 20, when the
In order to solve the above-described problems, an electromagnetic actuator according to the present invention is arranged in a first direction (for example, the X direction) and extends in a second direction (for example, the Y direction) substantially orthogonal to the first direction. A first stator core having a plurality of core teeth, a second stator core having a plurality of core teeth arranged in the X direction and extending in the Y direction, a first stator core, and a second For the first and second stator cores, which are provided so as to be movable in the X direction between the first and second stator cores and have a magnetic body and a nonmagnetic body alternately arranged in the X direction. At least one coil for generating a magnetic flux in a third direction (for example, the Z direction) substantially perpendicular to the first and second directions with respect to the Y direction and the mover is provided. As a result, the magnetic flux flows from one of the first and second stator cores to the other of the first and second stator cores via the mover.
The electromagnet actuator according to the present invention has a plurality of core teeth arranged in two rows in the first direction and extending in a second direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction. A stator core, and a second stator core having a plurality of core teeth arranged in two rows in the first direction and extending in the second direction. The core teeth of the stator core and the core teeth of the second stator core are alternately arranged. Further, the mover is movably provided in the first direction between the two rows of core teeth of the first and second stator cores, and the mover is magnetically arranged alternately in the first direction. Body and non-magnetic material. Further, the at least one coil generates a magnetic flux in a second direction for the first and second stator cores and in a third direction substantially perpendicular to the first and second directions for the mover. To do. This magnetic flux was made to flow from one of the first and second stator cores to the other of the first and second stator cores via the mover.
According to the present invention, the average thrust can be increased even when the number of movers is one or more.
1A and 1B show a first embodiment of an electromagnet actuator according to the present invention, where FIG. 1A is an overall perspective view and FIG. 1B is a partial sectional perspective view. In FIG. 1, the
The
On the other hand, the
In FIG. 1, since the
FIG. 2 is a graph showing the average thrust of the electromagnet actuators of FIGS. 19, 20, and 1 under substantially the same conditions. That is, the average thrust of the electromagnet actuator of FIG. 1 is equivalent to the average thrust of the electromagnet actuator of FIG. 20, and is excellent at almost 40 times the average thrust of the electromagnet actuator of FIG. This is considered to be based on the fact that the magnetic resistance in the magnetic circuit of FIG. 1 is smaller than the magnetic resistance in the magnetic circuit of FIG. That is, as shown by the arrows in FIG. 3, the magnetic flux passing through one magnetic body of the
FIG. 4 is a graph showing the average thrust under substantially the same conditions when the electromagnet actuator of FIG. 1 is multilayered. That is, FIG. 4 shows the average thrust when the number of
As described above, the electromagnet actuator of FIG. 1 has a stacking effect in which the average thrust is large even in a single-layer structure and the average thrust increases even when stacked. In addition, there is a cooling effect.
Even when the
5 and 6 are a cross-sectional view and a plan view for explaining the arrangement of the core teeth of the
In FIG. 5, in order to increase the magnetic flux passing through the magnetic body of the
FIG. 7 is a graph showing an average thrust under substantially the same conditions when only the arrangement of the core teeth of the

In FIG. 12, the electromagnetic actuator shown in FIG. 1 is multilayered, for example, five layers. That is, in FIG. 12, the number of
