Claims (8)
- 複合材格納ケーシング(16)であって、
内部(19)を有する本体(17)と、
前記格納ケーシング(16)の前記本体(17)の前記内部(19)に一体的に結合されたアブレイダブルシステム(34)とを含み、
該アブレイダブルシステム(34)が、
第1表面板(33)と少なくとも1つのコア層(37)の周囲に配置された第2表面板(33)とを含むサンドイッチ構造(36)と、
該サンドイッチ構造(36)に塗布された少なくとも1つのアブレイダブル層(38)とからなっており、
該少なくとも1つのコア層(37)は、セル構造、円柱構造、またはトラス構造のいずれかからなり、該サンドイッチ構造(36)は、半径方向に強く円周方向に弱いものである格納ケーシング(16)。 - 該サンドイッチ構造(36)が、炭素繊維、黒鉛繊維、ガラス繊維、セラミック繊維、アラミドポリマー繊維、およびそれらの組み合わせからなるグループから選択される材料からなる、請求項1に記載の格納ケーシング(16)。
- 該格納ケーシング(16)が、少なくとも1つのファンブレード(18)を含むガスタービンエンジン(10)のファンアセンブリ(12)用のファンケーシング(16)であり、該ファンケーシング(16)が半径方向厚さ(T)を有する、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の格納ケーシング(16)。

- 該アブレイダブル層(38)が低密度シンタクチックフィルムエポキシからなる、請求項1、2、3または4のいずれかに記載の格納ケーシング(16)。
- 該サンドイッチ構造(36)が複数のコア層(37)からなる、請求項1、2、3、4または5のいずれかに記載の格納ケーシング(16)。
- 該サンドイッチ構造(36)が、該ファンブレード(18)の軸方向コード長(L)の約1〜約3倍の幅(W)と、該ファンケーシング(16)の該半径方向厚さ(T)の約1〜約5倍の深さ(D)を有する、請求項3に記載の格納ケーシング(16)。
- 該アブレイダブルシステム(34)が、約25%の衝突エネルギーを吸収することができる、請求項1、2、3、4、5、6または7のいずれかに記載の格納ケーシング(16)。
