Abstract
【解決手段】ポリマーベース複合サンドイッチ体は、複数の繊維強化樹脂表面シートの間に接合されているコアを含む。コアは、低密度発泡体中に保持されている複数の複合ピンの複数の群により形成されているトラスを含む。各々の群中の複数のピンは複数の表面シートの一方の近傍にノードを形成するよう交差する。ピンの端部は表面シートに対し平行に延出し表面シートに接合されている。

Description
第1及び第2の繊維強化ポリマー表面シートと;そして、
上記第1の及び第2の表面シートの間の補強コアと、を備えていて、
この補強コアは、
(i)トラスを形成している複数の群に配置され、各々が、上記第1及び第2の表面シートとの間に延びている中間部と、上記第1及び第2の表面シートと略平行に延びているとともに上記第1及び第2の表面シートに接合されている末端部と、を含んでおり、各群内において上記第1及び第2の表面シートの一方に隣接するノードにおいて交差する複数のピンと、そして、
(ii)上記複数のピンを取り囲んでいるキャリヤと、
を含んでいる。
1対の繊維強化ポリマー表面シートと;そして、
上記表面シート間の補強コアと、
を備えており、
上記補強コアは、その中で複数の群に配置されている複数の構造ピンを含んでいて、上記複数の群の各々における複数のピンは、実質的に互いに交差しているとともに上記表面シートに対して略直角に延びている中心軸の周りに離間している。
上記複数のピンの夫々が、上記表面シートに対し略横断して延びている中間部と、そして、上記表面シートに対して略平行に延びている末端部とを含んでおり;そして、
上記複数の群の各々における上記複数のピンが、大略的に上記複数のピンの中間部と末端部との間の合流点(junction)において互いに交差する。
Claims (17)
- 第1及び第2の繊維強化ポリマー表面シートと;
前記第1及び第2の表面シートの間にあり、
(i)トラスを形成している複数の群に配置され、各々が、前記第1及び第2の表面シートの間に伸びている中間部と、前記第1及び第2の表面シートに対し略平行に延びているとともに前記第1及び第2の表面シートに接合されている末端部と、を含んでおり、各群内において前記第1及び第2の表面シートの一方に隣接するノードにおいて交差する複数のピンと、
(ii)前記複数のピンを取り囲むキャリヤと、
を含む補強コアと;
を備えている複合サンドイッチ体。 - 前記複数のピンの各々は炭素繊維強化樹脂を含んでいて、そして、
前記第1及び第2の表面シートの各々は炭素繊維強化樹脂の積層された複数の層を含む、請求項1の複合サンドイッチ体。 - 前記複数の群の各々における前記複数のピンの末端部が、組となった前記複数のピンによって形成されているノードから外側に放射状に広がっている、請求項2の複合サンドイッチ体。
- 複数の前記ノードは互いに実質的に等距離離間している、請求項1の複合サンドイッチ体。
- 前記複数の群の各々は少なくとも3つの前記ピンを含んでいる、請求項1の複合サンドイッチ体。
- 前記キャリヤが硬質発泡体を含んでいる、請求項1の複合サンドイッチ体。
- 前記複数の群の各々における前記複数のピンは、前記組によって形成されているノードの周りに互いに実質的に等距離に放射状に離間している、請求項1の複合サンドイッチ体。
- 前記コアは前記第1及び第2の表面シートの熱膨張率と略一致している熱膨張率を有している、請求項1の複合サンドイッチ体。
- (A).(i)発泡体の層を形成し、そして、(ii)前記発泡体の層内に、交差している複数の構造ピンの複数の群を形成する、ことによってコアを製造する工程と;
(B).前記複数のピンの端部を折り曲げる工程と;そして、
(C).前記複数のピンの折り曲げられた端部を1対の繊維強化表面シートに接合することによって、前記コアを前記1対の表面シートに接合する工程と;
を備えている、複合サンドイッチ体を製造する方法。 - 前記工程(A)の(ii)は、前記複数のピンを交差する軌道に沿って前記発泡体の層内に挿入することを含んでいる、請求項9の複合サンドイッチ体を製造する方法。
- (D).ある長さのグラファイトエポキシ複合材料をポリマー押出しする工程と;
(E).前記ある長さのグラファイトエポキシ材料を部分的に硬化させる工程と;そして、
(F).前記ある長さのグラファイトエポキシ材料を切断することによって前記複数のピンを形成する工程と;
をさらに備えている、請求項9の複合サンドイッチ体を製造する方法。 - 前記工程(A)の(ii)は、前記複数のピンを前記発泡体の層に挿入することと、前記複数のピンの端部を解すこと、を含む、請求項9の複合サンドイッチ体を製造する方法。
- 前記工程(A)が完了した後に、前記複数の構造ピンを硬化させる工程(D)をさらに備える、請求項9の複合サンドイッチ体を製造する方法。
- 前記工程(C)が完了した後に、前記表面シート及び前記コアを圧縮し硬化させる工程(D)をさらに備える、請求項9の複合サンドイッチ体を製造する方法。
- 請求項9の方法によって製造された航空機サブアセンブリ。
- 請求項9の方法を使用した、航空機のメンテナンス及び修理の実行。
- 請求項9の方法によって製造された強化複合サンドイッチ体を使用した車両の組立て。
