Description

The present invention relates to a vehicle exterior component including a light emitting member.

Conventional vehicle exterior parts (molding, etc.) have a role of improving the value of the vehicle by the beauty of the product appearance. There are also products with performance such as glass edge clothing, glass holding function, etc., but products that have the function of disclosing and notifying information outside the vehicle are direction indicators, headlights, rear lights, fog lights, etc. The exterior parts are operated by the passenger from the inside of the vehicle or by remote control using a remote control key or the like.

In addition, as a conventional vehicular exterior component having a double structure, a groove portion in which a glass run channel is stored, a retainer portion provided on the back side of the groove portion, and the like are formed with a sash mold material having a certain cross-sectional shape, The flange side that will form the design surface is formed with a garnish made of a synthetic resin molded article, etc., and these are combined as appropriate. Specifically, the garnish is formed on the surface side of the sash mold. There is something like that (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
JP 2004-338522 A

However, in conventional exterior parts for vehicles, information transmission by light emission to passengers and pedestrians by exterior parts mounted outside the vehicle is mainly a direction indicator, and the information content that can be transmitted is the turning direction, flashing signal in emergency etc. It was limited to.

When a light emitting member is installed at a position that is easily recognized by people around the vehicle as a new exterior part, it is necessary to review the vehicle structure and to change the shape of the exterior part significantly. In this case, in addition to an increase in cost, the appearance of the vehicle is impaired. There is a problem that the designability is lowered. In addition, when a new exterior part is provided, there is a problem of contact with others and a member that protects the function from deterioration due to wind and rain, which further increases the size of the exterior part itself.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and includes a light emitting member for displaying and notifying information necessary for surroundings other than passengers (oncoming cars, following cars, pedestrians, etc.) It aims at providing the exterior parts for vehicles with high design nature.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention according to claim 1 is a first component part in which a design surface having transparency is formed in an outer appearance part and an engaging part is provided, and a engaged part engaged with the engaging part. A second component that forms a dual structure with the first component and attaches to the vehicle in a state in which a coupling portion is provided and engaged with the engaged portion and the engaged portion; and the first component and the first And a light-emitting member that is disposed between the dual structures of the two components and that is turned on and off by power supply from the vehicle.

The invention described in claim 2 is characterized in that the first component includes a translucent film.

The invention described in claim 3 is characterized in that the light emitting member is an organic EL.

Further, the invention described in claim 4 is provided with a transparent resin plate on which information display characters are provided at a position in contact with the light emitting member between the first component and the light emitting member. And

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the vehicle exterior component can be replaced with an existing vehicle exterior component by providing a light emitting member between the first component and the second component as a dual structure. . Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a new (extra) exterior component at a position where it can be easily recognized by people around the vehicle, so there is no need to review the vehicle structure and to change the shape of the exterior component significantly. However, the design of the vehicle exterior can be maintained. In addition, since there is no need to provide a new exterior part, there is no problem of contact with others, a problem that requires a member to protect the function from deterioration due to wind and rain, and a problem of increasing the size of the exterior part itself. .

Moreover, since the first component has transparency, the light emitting member can be turned on and off in conjunction with the vehicle function so that the occupant can visually recognize the light. For example, it is possible to recognize the approach of the passenger in conjunction with the smart key system, and at the same time, to emit light and display information at an arbitrarily set cycle, and to notify that the fuel cell is being charged by blinking.

In addition, necessary information can be displayed and notified when necessary in the vicinity other than the passenger (oncoming vehicle, following vehicle, pedestrian, etc.). For example, in cooperation with an in-vehicle navigation system in advance, any information can be emitted or displayed according to the situation to make it recognized by nearby cars, or an abnormal alarm of the vehicle theft system can be notified to the people around the vehicle on the display unit, etc. It is. This is a vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian setting by setting the function to convey information about the vehicle (for example, speed, direction of travel, etc.) that travels in conjunction with the local traffic control system using radio and radio communications. This makes it easier to visually confirm the risk and promotes risk prediction.

Further, in the invention according to claim 2, since the first component part is provided with a semi-transmissive film on the back surface or the surface, at a level that does not hinder the transmission of the first component part (transmittance of about 20%) Since the light emitting member is not recognized from the appearance of the vehicle and the light emitting member is recognized as the display unit only during light emission, the design of the vehicle appearance can be maintained.

In the invention described in claim 3, since the light emitting member is an organic EL, not only lighting and turning off of the light emitting member but also image display, character information display according to function, and color display are possible.

Further, in the invention according to claim 4, since the resin plate on which the information display characters are applied is provided between the first component and the light emitting member, the light from the light emitting member is printed. The information display character is transmitted and projected onto the first component back surface. At this time, both of the transparent resin plate on which the information display characters are applied and the first component portion shine. When the line of sight is viewed from an angle with respect to the semi-transparent first component, the information display characters on the resin plate can be seen through, so the information display characters can be seen from the outside of the vehicle as if they are shadowed light emission. The display effect is achieved.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings (First Example).
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an appearance of a pillar garnish 1 (exterior part) of a vehicle according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The pillar garnish 1 has a design surface 11 formed on the exterior portion, and the light emitter 30 (FIG. 2) provided inside the pillar garnish 1 is turned on / off in conjunction with the function of the door 3 to display information on the design surface 11. I do.

FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA of the pillar garnish 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. The pillar garnish 1 includes a garnish cover 10 (first component), a garnish body 20 (second component) that forms a double structure with the garnish cover 10 and attaches to the door sash 2 (vehicle), and a garnish cover 10. The light emitting body 30 (light emitting body) is disposed between the garnish bodies 20 and is turned on and off by power feeding from a wire harness (not shown) from the vehicle 2.

The garnish cover 10 is a transparent material having a uniform thickness, such as acrylic or PET, and a metallic translucent film 13 having a transmittance of about 20% is pasted on the surface, and information display characters on the back surface. “OPEN” characters are printed as 14. Further, flange portions 12 (engaging portions) are provided at both ends of the garnish cover 10.

The garnish body 20 forms a skeleton part of the pillar garnish 1, and a fitting part 21 (engaged part) that engages with the flange part 12 is resin-molded. As the resin material, it is possible to select an inexpensive resin such as a resin containing glass fiber, a high-strength resin containing carbon fiber, or a recycled material having poor surface quality.

The light emitter 30 is a light source such as an LED or a lamp, and is disposed on the garnish body 20 and is connected to a harness (not shown) from the vehicle 2. The light emitting body 30 may be an organic EL other than an LED.

In the first embodiment of the present invention, the pillar garnish 1 is a double structure of the garnish cover 10 and the garnish body 20, and the light emitter 30 is provided therebetween, so that the existing pillar garnish can be replaced. Therefore, it is not necessary to newly provide the light emitter 30 at a position that is easily recognizable by people around the vehicle (respectively), and therefore, it is not necessary to review the structure of the door sash 2 and to change the shape of the pillar garnish 1 significantly. The design of the appearance of the vehicle 2 can be maintained while suppressing the above. Further, there is no problem of contacting with others, a problem of requiring a member for protecting functions from deterioration due to wind and rain, and a problem of increasing the size of the pillar garnish 1.

Further, since the garnish cover 10 is provided with a metallic translucent film 13 having a transmittance of about 20% on the surface, the light emitter 30 is not recognized from the appearance of the door sash 2 when the light emitter 30 is not emitting light, and only when light is emitted. Since the light emitter 30 is recognized as the display unit, the design of the appearance of the door sash 2 can be maintained.

In addition, by using the organic EL 31 as the light emitter, image display, character information display according to the function, and color display can be performed, and the visual recognition effect on the passenger or the like can be enhanced.

(Second embodiment)
FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, which is an improvement of the vehicle pillar garnish 1 of the first embodiment. Parts and shapes common to the first embodiment will be described using common reference numerals, and differences from the first embodiment will be mainly described.

The difference from the first embodiment is that a transparent resin plate 40 with information display characters 14 is provided between the garnish cover 10 and the light emitter 30 in contact with the light emitter 30. .

Since the resin plate 40 is provided with the information display character 14 at a position between the garnish cover 10 and the light emitter 30 and in contact with the light emitter 30, the light emission from the light emitter 30 is transmitted through the information display character 14 printed. Projected on the back of the garnish cover 10. At this time, both the resin plate 40 with the information display characters 14 and the garnish cover 10 shine. Since the information display characters 14 on the resin plate 40 can be seen through from the direction of the angle with respect to the garnish cover 10 to which the metallic translucent film 13 is attached, the information display characters 14 are shaded. The three-dimensional display effect is seen from the outside of the vehicle 2 such that the information display characters 14 are lifted up.

And a light emitter 130 (light emitter) that is turned on and off by power supply from a wire harness (not shown) from the vehicle 102.

The roof rail cover 110 is made of a transparent material such as acrylic or PET, and a metallic semi-transmissive film 113 having a transmittance of about 20% is attached to the surface. Engaging portions 112 are provided at both ends of the roof rail cover 110.

The roof rail body 120 forms a skeleton part of the roof rail 101, and an engaged part 121 that is engaged with the engaging part 112 to form a double structure is resin-molded. As the resin material, it is possible to select an inexpensive resin such as a resin containing glass fiber, a high-strength resin containing carbon fiber, or a recycled material having poor surface quality.

The light emitter 130 is a light source such as an LED or a lamp disposed on the roof rail body 120 and is connected to a harness (not shown) from the vehicle 102. In addition to LEDs and the like, an organic EL 131 may be used for the light emitter 130.
