Abstract

Claims (10)
- 流体を燃焼器アセンブリ内に送るためのノズル(18)であって、
中心線を含む本体(406)と、
前記中心線に沿って前記本体を貫通する第1の通路と、
前記第1の通路の下流側端部に結合され、中心から外表面まで延びる半径を有するノズル先端(500)と、
を備え、
前記ノズル先端が、
下流側面と、
前記下流側面内に画成された開口を各々が有する複数の出口通路と、
を含み、
前記各開口が、接線、前記半径、及び前記中心線に対して規定されるそれぞれのX軸、Y軸、及びZ軸を含み、前記複数の出口通路の各々が、それぞれのX−Z平面において前記それぞれのZ軸に対して測定して30°よりも大きな排出角度を成すことを特徴とするノズル(18)。 - 前記複数の出口通路の各々が、それぞれのY−Z平面において前記それぞれのZ軸に対して測定して30°よりも大きな排出角度を成す、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のノズル(18)。 - 前記本体(406)を貫通する第2の通路を更に備え、
前記第2の通路が、前記第1の通路の少なくとも一部分に実質的に外接する請求項1に記載のノズル(18)。 - 前記本体から半径方向外方に延びる複数のベーン(432)を更に備え、
前記複数のベーンの各々が、
前記第2の通路と流れ連通したベーン通路と、
前記各ベーン通路からそれぞれのベーンを貫通する複数の開口(76)と、
を含む、請求項3に記載のノズル(18)。 - 前記各出口通路開口が、実質的に0.110インチよりも大きな直径を含む、請求項1に記載のノズル(18)。
- 前記各出口通路開口が、0.126インチに実質的に等しい直径を含む、請求項5に記載のノズル(18)。
- 前記第1の通路が流体を含み、前記流体が、液体燃料、気体燃料、及び固体燃料の内の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のノズル(18)。
- ガスタービンエンジン(10)に使用するための燃焼器アセンブリであって、
前記燃焼器アセンブリに結合され、第1の燃料源に結合された複数の出口通路を有するノズル先端(500)と、第2の燃料源に結合された複数の第1のベーン通路とを含む複数の第1のノズル(400)と、
前記燃焼器アセンブリ結合され、前記第2の燃料源に結合された複数の第2のベーン通路を含む第2のノズルと、
前記燃焼器アセンブリに結合された制御システム(44)と、
を備え、
前記制御システムが、
第1の燃料(212)を前記第1の燃料源から前記複数の第1のノズルの複数の出口通路を通って送り、
前記ガスタービンエンジンが定格速度の85%よりも大きな速度に達したときに、第2の燃料を前記第2の燃料源から前記第2のノズルの複数の第2のベーン通路を通って送り、
前記ガスタービンエンジンにベース負荷の第1の所定パーセンテージよりも大きな負荷があるときに、前記第2の燃料を前記第2の燃料源から前記複数の第1のノズルの複数の第1のベーン通路を通って送り、
前記ガスタービンエンジンにベース負荷の第1の所定パーセンテージよりも大きな負荷があるときに、前記複数の第1のノズルに入る前記第1の燃料の流れを減少させるように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする燃焼器アセンブリ。 - 燃焼器アセンブリケーシング(34)から半径方向内向きに延びる複数の第3のノズル(400)を更に備え、前記複数の第3のノズルが、第3の燃料源に結合されている、
請求項8に記載の燃焼器アセンブリ。 - 前記制御システム(44)が更に、ガスタービンエンジン(10)にベース負荷の第2の所定パーセンテージよりも大きな負荷があるときに、第3の燃料を前記複数の第3のノズル(400)に送るように構成されており、前記第2の所定パーセンテージが、前記第1の所定パーセンテージよりも大きい、
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の燃焼器アセンブリ。
