Abstract

Claims (10)
- 翼弦長を形成した凹面形正圧側面(70)及び凸面形負圧側面(72)と前縁(74)及び後縁(76)とを備えた翼形部本体と、
前記前縁(74)と該前縁(74)から下流方向に前記後縁(76)に向かった前記翼形部本体の正圧側面(70)及び負圧側面(72)のそれぞれの所定の部分とに対して接合材層(82)によって付着されかつそれらを保護被覆した前縁保護ストリップ(80)と、を含み、
前記前縁保護ストリップ(80)によって被覆された前記負圧側面(72)の所定の部分が、該前縁保護ストリップ(80)によって被覆された前記正圧側面(70)の所定の部分の1/3よりも大きくない、
翼形部。 - 該翼形部が、タービンエンジンファンブレード、タービンエンジン圧縮機ブレード及びタービンエンジンステータベーン(52)から成る群から選択される、請求項1記載の翼形部。
- 前記前縁保護ストリップ(80)によって被覆された該翼形部の負圧側面(72)の所定の部分が、該翼形部の翼弦長の1〜3%である、請求項1記載の翼形部。
- 前記前縁保護ストリップ(80)によって被覆された該翼形部の負圧側面(72)の所定の部分が、前記前縁(74)から下流方向に前記後縁(76)に向かって約0.254cm(0.100)インチ延びる部分である、請求項1記載の翼形部。
- 前記前縁保護ストリップ(80)が、エンジン運転中に該翼形部から脱離した場合に、下流側エンジン構成部品との衝突が該下流側エンジン構成部品に対して損傷を引き起こさないほど十分に小さい所定の寸法の隣接するセグメントを形成する多数の交差グルーブ(80A)を含む、請求項1記載の翼形部。
- 翼形部の前縁(74)を保護する方法であって、
翼弦長を形成した凹面形正圧側面(70)及び凸面形負圧側面(72)と前縁(74)及び後縁(76)とを備えた翼形部本体を準備する段階と、
前記前縁(74)と該前縁(74)から下流方向に前記後縁(76)に向かった前記翼形部本体の正圧側面(70)及び負圧側面(72)のそれぞれの所定の部分とに対してかつそれらを保護被覆するように前縁保護ストリップ(80)を、該前縁保護ストリップ(80)によって被覆された前記負圧側面(72)の所定の部分が、該前縁保護ストリップ(80)によって被覆された前記正圧側面(70)の所定の部分の1/3よりも大きくないように付着させる段階と、を含む、

前記前縁保護ストリップ(80)によって被覆された前記負圧側面(72)の所定の部分が、該前縁保護ストリップ(80)によって被覆された前記正圧側面(70)の所定の部分の1/3よりも大きくない、
